BEING SPLIT up from his mom wasn't really James Hopper's (the second) favourite thing, in fact, he wished he was with her instead, wherever she is but she left him with his father.
He had moved to Hawkins recently with his father after Sara died, where his father grew up, back from the city and it was a nice change. But he didn't know anyone and no one would talk to him. He couldn't even be able to get out a simple hi before people quickly walk away from him.
He didn't mind it. He always saw himself as a lone wolf so he always roams the woods after schools, and would end up sitting down against a tree and stare up at the leaves with wind blowing through them. It was kind of his safe place, the woods, the wild, the leaves and the animals he'd come across, he kind of loved it. He got inspiration there, wrote a lot and end up nearly falling asleep at times.
It all changed one day when he heard someone and stood up quickly to find Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers. They were on a monster hunt, naturally he joined them.
