I've been at this hero gig with Chat and Ladybug for about two months now and let me tell you the Akuma's that Hawkmoth sends at us well make me question his mental state. Like some you'll need all of us to face because they are just that powerful or before either Ladybug or Chat get there I've already taken care of the villain except for the akuma. And sometimes the villain is so cliche, tacky and ridiculos that often times I'm wondering if Hawkmoth is even trying to take our miraculouses. Modeling has also been going well and Gabriel has kept to his end of the bargain when it comes to my photo shoots and as such I've kept to mine.
But today I didn't have a photo shoot. No today the city of Paris was unveiling a statue of the three of us and we had to be in attendence. Speaking of which over time people have started calling us Team Miraculous which all in all isn't a bad name. They had a title for each of us Ladybug was the brain and Chat was the brawn meanwhile I made it possible for the two to work together and was dubbed by everyone as the leader which kind of upset Chat and Ladybug a bit till they understood why. I might not be able to purify the original Akuma, but I could purify a vast number of them. Plus I did have to stop both a few times from lashing out at one another, people, and of course things.
Since I had a good view of the park because of one of my two windows, The other showed the alley behind the bakery where we have our garbage cans and the like, where the unveiling was going to be I could tell when I should or should not go. I left out the front door and walk a few blocks away so no one would suspect that Lloyd Garmadon, well Dupain-Cheng now, was Drakon. "Ready?" Gong asked
"As I'll ever be" I said,"Gong let's roar"
I changed into Drakon and leapt back the way I came. "Sorry I"m late. Traffic was terrible" I said once I landed
"You and me both "Chat said landing on the pedestal
"Drakon Chat Noir where's Ladybug?" A guy who was the statues sculptor asked
I quickly made something up,"She did say that it was going to be a bit iffy coming today" I lied
"She did when did she...Oh right last week when it was announced and you two got it" Chat said
I sighed in relief Ladybug if you don't show you owe me one.
(Over in the school where Mari/Ladybug is, Mari silently sneezes)
"We can't wait any longer" The mayor said
"Ladies and Gentlemen. It's only proper for Paris to pay homage to those who protect us from evil Ladybug, Chat Noir and Drakon" The mayor told to the crowd of people as the sheet fell off the statue to reveal all three of us in battle poses.
Chat was in a crouching position while Ladybug was leaping off his back with her yo-yo winding around the three of us. I was right next to both of them with my bow fully drawn looking ready to defend my team, "Wow this is magnificent "I told the sculptor
"Thank you Drakon it was an honor making it I wanted originally for you was to have you and your dragon but there wasn't much time so I did you and your bow." He said
"It looks wonderful regardless" I told him
We took a few pictures with the fans and signed several autographs as well. "I wanted to show my admiration for her with this statue" Theo the sculptor told us once everyone had gone.
"Well I think you did just fine Sir. I'm sure that once Ladybug see this she'll know how you feel for her" I told him giving him a thumbs up
"Thank you Drakon" Theo bowed,"And who knows if we took a little time to get to know one another I'm sure she see how much we have in common"
I shot Chat a glare to not say a word cause he was starting to act like Jay did when Nya cheated on him I do not want a repeat of that drama. "As great as that sounds Theo right now with Hawkmoth and the media on us it is hard for all of us right now to start a relationship right now because of it. But I'm sure that once things settle down she'll take you up on your offer cause you seem like a nice guy, Theo and I can tell that you two would get along just fine" I told him
Theo blushed madly,I then checked a local clock to see that I needed to get going. "Well Love to stay and chat some more but I got to go and get ready my parents need my help with some cleaning" I said jumping away and leaving.
But as I left I had a really bad feeling nagging me in the back of my head, but I pushed it to the side. I was soon back at the bakery and started my shift which was cleaning a few trays, pans, and tins out because of the grease before going to man the register. "Breaking news not twenty minutes ago Chat Noir stole the Mona Lisa injuring a few guards in the process. What will become of this hero turned villain?" My eyes widened in shock
Chat Noir was many things but a thief was not one of them. What could have possibly.... of course Theo. I shouldn't have left the two alone like that this is my fault. "Lloyd your shift is over for now you have a few hours for lunch" Tom told me
"Thanks Tom" I said quickly hugging him and then dashingto my room once I put my apron up.
I reached my room in record time. Gong flew out of my pocket this is total de javu right now" I complained
"Well at least this time it's just an akuma with no connections to any of you instead of a friend" Gong said
"Right. Gong let's roar" I said transforming back into Drakon for the second time today.
I ran into Ladybug on my way to the Louve. "You two huh?" Ladybug asked as we headed towards the Louve
"Yeah had to make up an excuse to my family about leaving so suddenly. But I know for a fact that is not Chat it's his coppycat" I told her then explaining everything that had happened during the ceremony
"Wow thanks for the cover I forgot about it entirely, but what you told me about what happened that does sound like something Chat would do" Ladybug said
"But first the Louve knowing Chat he'll go there first" I told her and we went full out sprinting to the Louve.
Once we reached it. " I'll go in Ladybug you stay out here just in case the copycat shows up" I told her
"On it" Ladybug said nodding
I jumped down. "At ease Drakon. Kitty is in the slammer" A police man whom I recognized as Sabrina's father told me
"Do you really think that what you got happening is gonna stop him he has Cataclysm" I told him
His eyes widened and a voice came over the walkie talkie. "Red alert The cat is put repeat the cat is out" A man said
I gave the police man a really look. And followed him inside the Louve it looked really nice with all of the paintings and sculptures I made a mental note to come back here when there wasn't an Akuma attack going on. "He escaped this only makes him more guilty" The police man growled
"If you where wrongly imprisoned wouldn't you run?" I asked him
He paled got him. Then my staff went off it was a phone call and I could bet who it was from, Chat. "Chat when I get my hands on you" I growled picking up while running out of the Louve
"I got it I'm in trouble" Chat said,"But you believe I'm innocent right?"
I gave him a dead-panned stare. "Okay I meant in the theft" Chat said clarifying himself
"Yes you are" I groaned yet again
"I'm going after my copycat"Chat said before hanging up
"I'm gonna kill him, reserect him, then kill him again" I darkly growled
Adrien's p.o.v.
Okay I have a copycat and once this is over I get the feeling that Drakon is going to kill me for not listening to him and for letting my jealousy get the better of me. This day is turning out just great. Note my sarcasm.
I ran to find the sculptors art studio and give him a little talk for doing this to me. I ran as quickly as I could while dodging the police as much as I could after ducking into a subway tunnel transforming into Adrien and coming out the other side as the expected perfectionist me on the other side. I quietly hid behind a rounded billboard and opened my white over shirt to reveal Plagg. "If you want my opinnion on your copy I'd say it's an akuma. If you want my opinnion with Drakon run he has both yours and Ladybugs powers at his disposal. Not to mention you've only seen the good half of his powers dragon's Blessing which heals all miraculous users of any wounds they might have. You don't want to be blasted with Dragon's Curse then you'll be in a hospital for the rest of your life" Plagg told me swallowing his smelly Camnbert cheese
I gulped. Drakon has always been there to stop us form doing something dumb and when he left I took advantage of that and let my jealousy get the better of me. Then again if this is the lesson for never doing something like this again. Consider it learned cause to be honest I never want to see Drakon angry ever again.
I then left to find the sculptors hide out. Which was in the warehouse district of Paris. "Oh I better make up for this or else Drakon is gonna kill me" I said for the millionth time in the past hour.
I changed into Chat Noir before entering the warehouse studio. I gave Ladybug a call since I really didn't want to see Drakon. ""Chat where are you Drakon and I are heading for the warehouse district to find your copycat" Ladybug said
"How?" I asked
"It was that painfully obvious Chat" Drakon said from some where he sounded calmer, but I had a feeling that I was going to get it once he got his claws on me.
"No this is between me and him. "I told the two
"It is also my fault since I left you unattened in that state"Drakon said
Dang it so much for that, hey maybe I'll get it easy or something since he is taking part of the blame, right? I closed my staff again, unlike Drakon's my just shortened and extended no cool bow for me sadly. I started looking around the studio to fins a wooden crate with a chinese welcome cat with a letter. I picked up the letter" Huh Cat's in the bag?" I said reading aloud what the letter said before the crate blew on my chaining me to the floor.
"Cataclysm" I said to reduce these chains to rust only for my hand to be grabbed
"What the" I looked and saw my copycat and he looked exactly like me.
He jumped away while I tried to kick him. "I don't get what Ladybug sees in you as a lover or what Drakon sees in you as a friend a fool who so easily falls into my trap "Copycat said making me growl a little bit,"Then again Drakon though a good friend and leader is still dispicable as you he even suggested he had feelings for Ladybug though not as up front as you did"
"If you hurt either of them" I snarled
"Oh Ladybug I wouldn't dream of it, but you and Drakon yes I would." Copycat said with a deadly smirk
I reached for my baton only to find it gone and in copycat's hands. Mine rang and right now I was hoping that it was Drakon cause he would be able to see through this guy."Chat are you okay?" Ladybug's voice rang out
Really Drakon right when I need you the most. "Ladybug I got him at Theo's work shop" Copycat said
"We'll be there in thirty seconds"Ladybug said
Before I could warn her and Drakon he hung up and slammed me to the ground. Just before he took my Miraculous Ladybug swung in and Drakon dropped in on the two of us. "Wow this is cute two twin kittens on the ground playing" Drakon said you could hear the anger in his voice quite clearly
Right now I was fully welcoming Dragons Curse to get rid of this guy. Ladybug then knelt down to take my miraculous from me because she believed him over me this stinks. "Ask him bout our love my lady" I told her as one last random act
Drakon's eyes narrowed at my copycat before looking between the two of us. Then suddenly Copycat was off of me and Drakon had gone from my head to my feet. Copycat was laying in a bunch of broken canvases. "Though Chat Noir may be a a hero when it comes to love only he sounds that moronic about Ladybug" Drakon snarled
"I'll take that as a compliment kinda" I said jumping up to my feet
So after a bit of a struggle both with the who's who game and the fight we finally purified the akuma. "Reenergize your kwamii then meet me at the Eiffel tower in thirty minutes" Drakon said jumping off because he had to use his power to give ladybug a hand with the plan.
I gulped and nodded running to find a spot to de-transform. Once I did I quickly feed Plagg who luckily got the memo that I was in serious trouble for once. I reached the Eiffel tower with only a minute to spare. Drakon was already waiting for me. "Hey Drakon" I nervously said
He was silent for several minutes before sighing and looking at me. "Chat I'm disapointed in you" He said
"Yeah you made that obvious" I said only to receive a glare to rival the one Lloyd gave me on my first day of school which told me to shut up and not say a single word till he was done.
"Chat all three of us are heroes that protect Paris from Hawkmoth's Akuma's not going around making them because we got jealous or something" Drakon said I felt my ears and tail droop slightly,"Look I'm letting you off this time since I believe you learned your lesson, but next time you won't be so lucky. I gave the police the evidence they needed so your fine now."
"Thank you and to be honest I was preparing for a lot worse" I told him
"I was prepared for worse but after the akuma, and dealing with the police I got a migraine and am right now not in the mood for my original plan" Drakon groaned going from stiff to relaxed in a matter of seconds.
He is a total and complete mystery to me he's doesn't give away much. he's like the anchor and the head of the team but I guess it's for a reason I suppose. "Now get back home and see you later" Drakon said jumping away
I got back to the school and started to look for my phone which didn't turn up. Once I got to my room I fell across the bed mentally exgausted. "Wow he did let you off easy all the previous Balance dragon holders would have just severely hurt you" Plagg said coming from my coat pocket munching on that stinky cheese of his
I just simply ignored him while making a vow to never let that happen again.
Back to Lloyd
I got back home and crumpled onto my bed in pain from the migraine man those police ask a lot of questions
I sighed and made myself an ice pack and put it to my head. "Lloyd you sure about this" Gong asked
I thought about it for a second. "I'm not going to repeat history for this one occasion Gong" I groaned into my pillow
I fell asleep before I even knew it. Hopefully the akuma's from now on won't be as mentally painful as this one was.
