I woke up the next morning still feeling guilty about what had happened to those people. "Paris is counting on our Guardian Angels Ladybug,Chat Noir, and Drakon to help us" the tv said
"Morning Lloyd" Mari said glumly
"Morning Mari" I groaned sitting down
"Rough night" Tom asked
"Yup" I said grabbing a bannana for breakfast. "See you later Tom" I said leaving with Mari
We met up with Alya outside of school. "And tadaa my new blog deticated to the superhero's of Paris the Ladyblog" Alya said showing us her phone
It had our fight from yesterday recorded on it and everything."Whoa "I said
"The video I posted already has thousands of views on it. There are even theories popping up about how Chat and Drakon could be twin brothers" Alya said showing us the theory in question.
Now that I got a good look at Chat and myself side by side we did look a lot a like. "Well can't say for sure now can we" I said handing Alya back her phone
"No by the way how was it being rescued instead of vice versa?" Alya asked
"Felt nice for a change. But seeing how things are going if Ladybug, Chat Noir or Drakon need my help consider me there" I said
I then saw Ivan surrounded by a bunch of our classmates. After giving Chloe a threatening glare I got him away from everyone. "You okay Ivan?" I asked
"Not really" Ivan said slumping over
"Wanna talk about it?" I then asked
"Not really. But I have to ask why are you so nice to me?" Ivan asked
"No one deserves to be treated like that Ivan that's why" I replied
"You really are a good friend Lloyd" Ivan said getting back up and pulling me into a bone crushing hug
"No problem" I weakly smiled,"So about Mayline and before you ask Drakon told me, How do you want to tell her you love her?" I asked
"He's right" Mari said coming in
I gave her a smile in gratitude. "How I'm no good with words" Ivan said
"You don't need words you could draw her a picture, send her flowers," Mari said
"I could write her a song" Ivan spoke up
"Go for it man " I told him giving him some encouragement
"I'll go write it right now"He said leaving
I smiled and got to class to see a blonde boy handling gum on Mari's seat. "Hey!" Mari said when we entered the room
I shot the guy a glare and he flinched. "Whoa they really do look a like" Nino said looking between us,"But Lloyd's hair is lighter than his. Chloe how could you have messed them up?"
So this was the guy Chloe mistook me for. "Hi I'm" He started to say I completely ignored him and gave Mari a hand with the gum
"Let me" I told Mari using my own power mixed with Zane's so that way Alya would be able to tell it was me. And with ease the gum came off.
"Thanks Lloyd" Mari said sitting down not looking at my dopple ganger.
"Not a problem" I said going to my seat
Chloe was fumong at me which suddenly made me feel bad for not listening to my dopple ganger cause something told me Chloe was the one who started this incident in the first place. "I'm Nino and you need some new friends man" Nino said
"So my look a like you said his name was what again?" He asked
"Lloyd he's from Ninjago. And is currently living with Mari the girl who Chloe stuck gum on the bench of" Nino explained
Miss Bustier started roll call. And as usual started with the A's since my last name was in the G's I still had a bit before my name was called. But there was a problem Ivan wasn't here, but Mayline was. I was getting worried about the guy. Just as his name was getting called Stone Heart was back. He grabbed Mayline just as Chloe was calling her father. "Daddy the monster is back!" She whined
Stone heart upturned the desk and grabbed Chloe not that she didn't have it coming. Karma is a pain when it come to bite you. I ran to the boys bathroom and Gong came out,"Time to set things straight" I told him and he nodded,"Gong let's roar"
I was covered in my suit and I instantly left out the bathroom window. I got there just as Chat landed a blow on the original Stone hearts head. And as usual he grew. I threw some throwing starsat the sidewalk to get stone Hearts attention on me. "You" He growled
Yea me "I said
"Well we at least have one compitent hero on our side" Chloe said
I rolled my eyes as several Stone Heart copies attacked Chat and I. We got several cars and the like thrown at the two of us,"Ladybug if you can hear me we could use some help right about now!" Chat called out
Where is she? I wondered as I dodged a hand, but didn't see the car hit Alya till she was pinned under it. Then as I ran to help her I got engulfed by a stone hand and I felt like I was getting crushed. I could barely breath or think do to the pain I was in. "Chat Noir Extend It!" A familiar voice rang out
And suddenly I could breath again. I felt something wrap around my ankle and pull Chat and I up. "My lady did I ever tell you that you turn my world upside down" Chat said
"Save your one liners for later. Lover Cat we got company" I said
"Agreed Let's get out of here "Ladybug said
She hauled us to a roof where we started to run till we got to the Eiffel tower. "Why are we not handling these guys?" Chat asked
"Waste of energy cat" I said
"Drakon is right We need to focus on that one" Ladybug said pointing to the leader of the Stone Heart Army/ a.k.a Ivan.
I took a look at the scene, "Dang I'm getting sudden de javu right now" I said
"Really" Chat asked
"Yea when the overlord brainwashed everyone with dark matter and the ninja had to fight him while risking the fact that they could be turned evil" I explained
Chat's eyes widened. Then Stone heart threw Chloe and Ladybug ran to catch her. "I didn't promise" Chloe said
"We are clear to fire" The head police man said
"Wait stop" Ladybug said
"Step aside you all failed the first time around let the pro's do their job" He said
"And what you end up with another broken arm. And didn't you guys already fail" I retorted
That shut him up,"Besides he's still holding someone or are you to blind to see it" I hissed
His face went white. I got him. Then Stone heart started coughing and gagging like crazy. "Now I've heard of whooping cough but this is insane" I said
Then a swarm of black butterflies erupted from his mouth falling Stone Heart for now. The butterflies formed a face that I didn't recognize. "Hello Paris I'm Hawkmoth" The head/Hawkmoth said
"Hawkmoth" All three of us said in unison looking at one another confused
"Listen well Ladybug, Chat Noir and Drakon. Give me the ladybug earrings, the cat ring, and the ear cuffs of the dragon of balance now. You've done the innocent people of Paris plenty of harm" Hawkmoth said
Ladybug started clapping and I couldn't help myself I busted out laughing. "Let's not reverse the roles here Hawkmoth. If it wasn't for you then none of these people would be transformed into Villains" Ladybug said
"The damage done to the people of Paris Hawkmoth is your own doing. These people would still be living their everyday lives in peace if it wasn't for you" I added
"Well said Drakon. But remember this Hawkmoth we'll defeat every villain you send our way then you will be giving us your Miraculous" Ladybug said jumping
I nervously bounced my staff in my hand once before it turned into a bow, "That's useful" I said I tried to find an arrow somewhere but nothing and Ladybug was struggling to capture all of the akumas.
Going out on a limb I drew back the string and an arrow appeared right on the string. "Hey Hawkmoth try this on for size" I said releasing the arrow right into the swarm
The arrow changed into a dragon, Ladybug barely dodged it, and engulfed the swarm in one chomp of it's jaws before releasing the butterflies that had been changed back into a pure white color. The dragon let out a mighty roar before vanishing. "Whoa" I said gaping at what had just happened
"Wow remind me not to get on your bad side" Chat said,"But whom ever Ladybug is behind that mask I love her"
When he said that I felt the beginning of a very long headache. "Whatever suits your fancy" I told him with a shrug
Then Stone heart started moving again. "You won't take Mayline from me."He said jumping/climbing away,"Come to me my stone army"
The duplicates started to climb up the Eiffel tower. "Okay so we know where the Akuma is" Ladybug said
"Yup his hand with the clenched fist where he's holding Mayline"I said
"So we know he's in love with her" Ladybug said
I then got a light bulb moment and by the looks on Ladybugs face we had the exact same thing in mind. "We don't seperate them we bring them closer together" Ladybug and I said in unison
"They are made for each other they just know it yet" Ladybug finished
"You two sure get along don't you" Chat said grumpily
"Easy man I'm not looking for a relationship anytime soon" I told him
"We just had the same thought process is all" Ladybug said
"Hey I balance both of you out it's my job so sometimes I'll be more in tuned with Ladybug and other times you Chat it's part of the job description" I said
"But right now we need to bring them together" Ladybug said swinging off
"Right behind you" I told her following close behind.
We all soon reached the very top of the Eiffel tower. "Help I'm scared of heights!" Maylin said
"Everything is gonna be alright" Ladybug told her
Was it me or did that rhyme? Using her yo-yo she got the two to kiss one another. I silently cheered for the two that is till Ivan let go of Maylin. "Chat get ready" I told him knowing what was going to come once Ladybug broke the Miraculous
Just as she broke it. Stone heart changed into Ivan and they both started falling. "Get Maylin" I told him
I jumped and grabbed Ivan creating a slide made of Ice for us to slide down on. "Drakon thank you" Ivan said
"Not a problem" I told him as Chat brought Maylin down
"Maylin"Ivan said going over to her
"Maybe it would be better if you read the lyrics for Ivan's song" Ladybug said handing Maylin the piece of paper
While reading it I saw Maylin blush then hug Ivan. "You two get going i dodn't use my power so I got time I'll get these two Love birds back home safely" I told them shooing them away when I heard their miraculous beeping
They left quickly enough. "Um Drakon Thank you for helping me and Maylin" Ivan said
"Not a problem just doing my job. Now let's get you two home" I said summoning my dragon but instead of looking just straight green like it normally does it had grey on it as well.
"Your carriage awaits My Lord and Lady" I said giving a light bow
Once I got them home safely my miraculous was starting it's countdown. I have some questions for Gong once I see him again. I got to my room as I heard the final and last beeping of my miraculous. "What happened back in that fight?"I asked him
"Your powers and my own powers combined into on that's what happened Lloyd" Gong groaned
"Wait here" I told him running to get some food for him
I came back with a bananna which he happily ate. "AS I said your powers and mine combined for that one instance to help Ladybug with Hawkmoth" Gong said
"Wait that power was the golden power, but I gave it up" I told Gong
"It is still apart of you whether you like it or not Lloyd something like the golden power you can't just give up" Gong said cleaning off the bananna
I couldn't find the words to say at all. I still had the golden power inside of me, great. Sabine called dinner and we all sat down to eat when the house phone got a call it went to the answering machine. "Hello family that is hosting Lloyd you can keep him I no longer want him in my life having him was a mistake" My mother's voice said
"And tell him that he is no longer considered our brother" Kai's harsh tone said over the monitor before he roughly hung up
"Lloyd?" Mari asked
"I need some air" I said quickly getting up from the table
I ran outside to a near-by park and took several deep breaths of air before I finally calmed down I didn't want Hawkmoth to take advantage of me in this state. I sat down on a bench with my head in my hands only thinking why would they do this to me? I'd known them since I was eight years old and they trained me and became a family I never had growing up. Now not only are they dumping me again, but so is my own mother. "Lloyd" I looked up and saw Ivan standing right in front of me.
"Oh hey Ivan" I weakly said
"What's wrong?" He asked
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you" I said
"Try me" Ivan said sitting down next to me
I told him why I came to Paris in the first place and then the call I received earlier today. Ivan's jaw just dropped before turning into pure rage,"How could they do this to you your their brother!" Ivan roared
"Ivan relax I don't want you turning back into a villain again" I told him
"I'd welcome it to show that so called family of yours what happens" Ivan growled
"Thanks but it wouldn't do anyone any favors Ivan. Besides that actually made me feel better" I told him
"No problem, but if they are in town give me a call and we'll have a few words" Ivan growled
"Thanks" I told him with a laugh
"Anything for a friend" Ivan said
"Friend" I said but it came out like a question
"Yeah you supported me and didn't judge me like so many others did so I'm declaring us friends." Ivan said
I smiled,"Thanks big guy" I told him
"Well See you tomorrow at school I got to go get the groceries for my mother" He said
"See you round Ivan" I said waving him off
I returned home to see Tom, Sabine and Mari discussing something. When I entered they went silent before Sabine spoke up,"Lloyd we were talking and wanted to ask you some thing" Sabine said
"Fire away" I told her
"Would you like to live with us permenently and be apart of the family?" Tom asked
My eyes widened in shock where they really asking me to live with them if this is a dream please don't wake me up. "Yes" I told them after five minutes of silence
Mari hugged me while Tom made a call to get everything ready. "Your uncle is shipping us the rest of your things here" Tom told me once he got off
"And the paper was easy since we got your approval now and your mothers statement" Sabine said
I felt a smile tugging at the corners of my mouth."Thank you" I said
Once the tears and hugs stopped I was exaughsted and went to bed. This might not have started out as a great day, but it sure ended like one.
I woke up the next morning and everything came back to me the good and the bad. But I wasn't upset anymore. I rushed to get dressed, woke Mari up with a well placed prank, and raced to school. "Hey Lloyd over here" Nino said calling me
"What's up?" I asked
"I wanted to introduce you to Adrien my new friend" Nino said
"You mean the guy who took the blame for Chloe sticking gum on Mari's seat yesterday?" I asked
"Yup" Nino said
"Well that's good I kinda owe him an apology "I said
The first bell rang, "But after class see ya Nino" I said running to first period
I went and sat in my seat behind le brat. That is till Mari and Alya came in and sat down in front of me. "Nice" I told Mari
"Um excuse me your in the wrong seat. Go on get lost" Chloe said coming into the room
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing" Mari said
"What's that suppose to mean" Chloe said in her usual snobbish tone
"It means that I nor anyone else is putting up with your crud anymore Chloe. So take your attitude and get lost" Mari said
I gave her a high five."Good job Mari" I told her
"Thank you it felt great" Mari smiled
The day went on from there and I apologized to Adrien about yesterday."It's alright Lloyd I honestly think I set myself up for that one"Adrien said
"When it came time for the school day to end I saw Mari without and umbrella waiting on the steps of the school. I gave Adrien a gentle push towards her and well he told her the truth and even gave her his umbrella as an olive branch. Today really was the best thing ever to happen.
