***Emily's pov***
It's been a week or two since the accident. No signs of him waking up or even trying to.
My mind boggled at the idea of maybe he didn't want to wake up, what if he wanted to die.
Mama came up everyday after she got off work and stayed a few hours. I stayed every night not wanting to leave his side, what if I left and he woke up? I fell asleep on the couch like usually.
I woke up with the doctors Coming In checking on him.
"Anything change?" I coughed.
"He had a little spike nothing else new, but maybe you need to get checked out darling you seem sick" he spoke softly.
"Thanks but I'm fine, I'm gonna go home and get a shower and eat, will you check on him frequently?" I asked.
"Yes ma'am, go ahead we will call as soon as we hear anything". He nodded.
I went home and took a shower and was about to make me something to eat when I had a sharp pain in my side.
I started to lose my breath, I called mama and started to talk before I felt pain again, I collapsed onto the floor. I heard mama yell for me, everything went black.
I woke in the hospital room struggling to get outta bed, " I need to see Clayton, let me up"! I yelled.
Mamas hands pushed me back down. "Calm down sweetie, Clayton's fine!" Everything went dark again.
I must of been dreaming I heard Clayton's voice. "I love you baby girl"! I was trying to talk but I couldn't. "Thank you baby for never giving up on me" he said. I smilied at hearing that. "Emily can you hear me, are you awake?" He asked.
I opened my eyes fast, it wasn't a dream Clayton was awake! Clayton was talking to me! I was in shock when he grabbed me for a hug and kisses my cheek.
A tear streamed down my cheek as he looked me in the eyes. "How are you awake" I asked.
"I woke 3 days ago!" He muttered.
"I was out 3 days?" I asked.
"Yeah, you were tired so you slept for a few days" he laughed.
"You don't know how much I missed that giggle Clayton! You can't ever leave my side now! I thought you were dead!" I started crying.
"I ain't ever going anywhere without a fight baby" he kissed me softly.
We stayed in my hospital room I held close to him never wanting to let go!
