(So Josh Beauchamp is in this chapter, I'm just going to call him Beauchamp so there's no confusion with him and Josh Price)

Kaycee's House
"Oh, Josh you're on time good I'll be ready in about 3 hours," Kaycee said letting Josh in the house
"3-3 hours?!" Josh said as he followed Kaycee upstairs to her room
Kaycee's Room
"Yeah," Kaycee said as she points at her leggings that she's wearing "Do I look ready?"
"No, but you told me to get here at 4 and prom starts at 7 why did you say get here early if you're not even ready?" Josh said
"I don't know, want to talk?" Kaycee said
"While you get dressed?" Josh said utterly confused
"Yeah, I mean when I'm changing we'll be separated but I still got hair and makeup to do," Kaycee said
"... Yeah sure fine" Josh said giving up since he's already here
Later
Bailey's House: Bailey's Room
"You look so good, baby!" Judie Sok said as she put the finishing touches on Bailey's appearance
"Thanks, mom!" Bailey says as the doorbell rings "That must be Sean!"
Living Room
Bailey's dad opened the door to see Tahani and Kenneth and let them in
"Good seeing you two," Bailey's dad said as he went back to doing what he was doing before
"Likewise," Kenneth said as he kept the door opened "Come on Sean!"
"I still can't believe Sean got a limo for us," Tahani said
"Right!" Kenneth says as Sean finally makes his way inside
"Sorry I had to tell the driver to wait again," Sean says as he picked up Kenneth first then Tahani and now Bailey
"I couldn't really tell in the limo but you look good in red Sean" Tahani said
Sean wore black with red and Kenneth wore black with purple to match Bailey's and Tahani's dress colors
"Thanks, but-" Sean started but had his voice snatched as he looked up
"Hi, guys!" Bailey said as she started to walk down the stairs with the assistance of Kylie and Britney her sisters
"Girl you look gorgeous!" Tahani said
"Yeah you look good Bailey," Kenneth says
"Thank you, you two look cute as well," Bailey says as she walks up to Sean who's been starstruck
"Dude use your words" Kenneth whispers loudly
"Wow!" Sean manages to get out
"I meant more than one word," Kenneth says to himself as Tahani laughs at Sean's reaction as Bailey just smiled at Sean's genuine reaction
"Thanks, Sean, and see red did look good on you," Bailey says poking at his tie "You look wow too"
"Oh, before I forget," Sean said revealing the corsage
"It's so pretty!" Bailey said looking at the red flower
"Yeah it's custom made" Sean mentions as the parents come back with a camera
"Alright time for pictures!" Judie said as they all got their pictures shot ranging from Bailey and Sean, Tahani and Kenneth, Sean and Kenneth, Bailey and Tahani, Tahani and Sean, Bailey and Kenneth, all four and three at a time along with some candid's such as Sean putting the corsage on Bailey and Kenneth and Tahani sharing a laugh, etc...
"Where to next?" Kenneth asks "Julian's?"
"Actually, Julian wanted some alone time Charlize," Sean said "So they're riding solo"
Charlize's House
"Alright it's no big deal she's just a friend," Julian said to himself as he ringed the doorbell
The door flew open to reveal Leah Debolt, Charlize's mom "Right on time!" she said as she pushed Julian into the house "She'll be just a second her friend Maddie is doing her hair
"No problem," Julian said as he went on his phone and saw a few of the pictures that his friends took already
"Sorry that took so long," Charlize said as she made her way down the stairs
"Oh, it's no big deal I just... wow you look great!" Julian said taking in Charlize's appearance
"Thanks, but you're just saying that since I straightened my hair and you've never seen that," Charlize said twirling her hair "You look good too Jules I like the pink suit"
"Thanks, had to match your dress which looks lovely on you by the way... oh yeah here you go," Julian said revealing the corsage
"My favorite flower!" Charlize said as Julian put the corsage on
"I remember you saying you liked them so..." Julian said as Charlize hugged him
"Let's go!" Charlize said trying to leave as fast as possible
"Not so fast!" Leah said as the two froze "Pictures!"
"Mom! We'll take some there!" Charlize said as Julian just laughed at the mother-daughter pair
"No I got this camera and I'm going to use it," Leah said
"I'll tell the squad we might be late," Julian said
Kaycee's House
"I've been waiting 2 hours and 30 minutes for you to put your clothes on" Josh whined
"Don't rush me!" Kaycee said from her bathroom
"Was all this on purpose?" Josh said, "Was having me waiting this whole time like your form of torture, at first talking was nice then it hit me that we've been talking for over two hours!"
"It takes time to put on my dress but I'm making progress," Kaycee said "And you didn't complain until you saw the time on your phone"
"True but I don't see how it takes this long!" Josh said "Outside of my haircut it didn't even take 10 minutes for me
"You can rush perfection," Kaycee said as Josh rolls his eyes "I'm trying to look my best for you!"
"Kaycee that's- 😳" Josh said as Kaycee finally emerged from the bathroom fully done minus shoes/heels
"You see that look is exactly what I was aiming for," Kaycee said pointing to his face
"Yo," Josh said as Kaycee laughed at his stunned reaction
"Oh, can you get my dad he said he wanted to talk to me before we leave," Kaycee said
"Sure," Josh said as he heads downstairs
"I was just testing out compatibility Josh," Kaycee said to herself as she puts her heels on
*Doorbell rings*
Kylie answers the door "Finally! Come on in!" She said as she let the four come in
"Yeah sorry I accidentally had the driver go to Josh's house so it took longer," Sean said
"I love what you did with the place," Tahani says noticing the prom decorations
"My mom and I had this ready when we first heard about ImmaProm we wanted to make it special" Kylie explained "We honestly never thought Kaycee would have an actual prom because of the homeschooling so with that revelation we kind of went all out"
Yeah there were a bunch of blue and white party decorations along with a sign that says 'Kaycee's IMMAPROM'
"They look great Kylie!" Tahani said
"Thanks, but nowhere near as great as all of you in your matching colors!" Kylie said as each pair matched each other
Josh came from another part of the house fixing his navy-blue tie and greeted the squad that came loose from his waiting
"How in the world do you tie a tie?" Josh said as he was struggling to tie the tie he got yesterday
"Let me see," Tahani said as she tied the tie effortlessly "There"
"Thanks," Josh said, "She come down yet?"
"No but we already saved time by you being here already," Kenneth said
"Thanks for doing this Josh!" Sean said about him taking Kaycee
"Yeah, no problem and I honestly don't want to see her cry again," Josh said remembering seeing Kaycee yesterday "My heart can't handle seeing her cry again"
"She was crying..." Bailey said now sad that it had gotten to that point
"Here she comes!" Devon announces
"Ask and you get answered!" Josh said
Kaycee then started to walk down the stairs with the assistance of her father, and upon the bottom of the steps she was immediately hugged by Bailey and Tahani
"We're so happy you're coming!" Tahani said
"Me too!" Kaycee said
"Whoa," Sean said as Josh and Kenneth laughed at his reaction
"She cleans up nice," Josh said louder as everyone laughed as Kaycee rolled her eyes
"Beautiful Kaycee" Sean said
"Thank you," Kaycee said as the two shared a smile
"You do look great though," Josh said
"Thanks, Josh," Kaycee said flashing him a smile as well as she waves hi to Kenneth who waved back
"Oh, I almost forgot," Josh said putting on the corsage for Kaycee "Not sure if you would like it"
"It looks great," Kaycee said pecking his cheek making everyone's eyebrows go up especially Sean's "What?"
"Nothing, want to put on the boutonnieres for the guys," Tahani said as the girls all started to put boutonnieres on the guy's jackets
Kaycee's mom and dad then started to take pictures of the now complete prom squad as Julian, and everyone else that they might have been with went to prom their own separate ways
"Alright to the limo!" Kaycee said leading the pack to the limousine
The six were having a little party of their own in the limo singing and dancing to their favorite songs as they headed to the prom location
"🎶SHE SAID DO YOU LOVE ME I TOLD HER ONLY PARTLY I ONLY LOVE MY BED AND MY MAMA I'M SORRY!!!!🎶" They all sang along annoying their driver
"You're here!!!" The driver yelled at the 6 teens
"Let's go, guys!" Kaycee said as with the assistance of Josh gets out first
Josh took a deep breath allowing the other two pairs ahead of him as the moment of truth was at the entrance
Like most proms, they had supervisors and volunteers to watch the kids/teens and to check their entry in as Prom is usually paid for but in this case, they only want people that had followed the rules to be allowed in
Josh did send Willdabeast the confirmation message that he was taking Kaycee but there was no response from him since then
And checking them in was Janelle Ginestra aka mama beast
First was Sean and Bailey
"You too look so cute!!!!" Janelle said pinching Sean's cheeks
"Janelle!!" Sean said obviously being embarrassed in front of Bailey and his friends
"Sorry but yes you may go in," Janelle said as they walked past her but waited on the others
Next was Kenneth and Tahani
"Good to see you again Kenneth hope to see you audition for IMMA again," Janelle says as she checks her records on who was Tahani's date
"Haha maybe," Kenneth says as he never considered it
"Alright Tahani Anderson and her date Kenneth San Jose you are allowed in," Janelle says
"So far so good," Tahani says as they also wait on the last two
Lastly Josh and Kaycee
"You two cut it close but you two are also good," Janelle said as Josh and Kaycee were literally the last ones on their list as Josh exhaled
"What?" Kaycee asked him
"Nothing," Josh said as Kaycee believed him as he did relax
Prom
As they all walked in there were a ton of tables surrounding the dance floor with many people already sitting, they noticed a mostly empty table with just Josh Beauchamp with his 'friend' Any Gabrielly "There you guys are! The food almost arrived!" Beauchamp said
"Thanks, bro" Josh said as everyone took their seats
"Who are the other two seats for?" Any asked as Tahani and Josh put stuff in the two chairs separating them
"Julian and Charlize," Kenneth said
"Alright, so who's with who? I haven't been on social media for a while so I didn't get to see all the promposals" Beauchamp asked "I'm guessing Sean and Kaycee since they're right next to each other"
They sat at a circle table so it was Any, Beauchamp, Kenneth, Tahani, space for Charlize, space for Julian, Josh, Kaycee, Sean, Bailey then Any
"Actually, Sean asked me," Bailey said as Beauchamp had a surprised look on his face
"Yeah and Josh asked me," Kaycee said holding his arm happily which made Sean roll his eyes
"...Imma go and talk with... Julian!" Sean said as he quickly got out his seat and went to see Julian and Charlize at the entrance
"What's with him?" Any asked
"Who cares, how was Rio?" Kenneth asked the two Now United members that constantly travel
"It actually looks nice, maybe too much blue but I guess that's Immabeast's signature color" Charlize commented as she and Julian entered the hall
"Yeah, they really outdid themselves," Julian said as Charlize entwined her arm in his "Um"
"Come on we need to find a seat so we can eat," Charlize said leading him through the place
"Hey, guys!" Sean said as he waved them down
"Sean!" Julian said as they did their handshake and Sean and Charlize hugged
"You clean up nice bro," Charlize said as Sean rarely dresses up and she's known him arguably the longest
"It's whatever, come on let me show you our table," Sean said leading them
Julian hurried their pace so he was side by side with Sean "So what are you going to do about Kaycee and Bailey?" Julian asked at a volume where Charlize couldn't hear
"I don't know yet..." Sean said honestly "Between Bailey saying she likes me and seeing how into Josh Kaycee is I don't know what to do anymore"
"Please figure it out fast," Julian said back as they arrived at the table
"Jules! Char!" Tahani said greeting their friends
"Hey everyone!" Charlize said as they made the rounds of hugs and such and then sat down in the two empty seats "When's the food?"
As that happened the waiter started to put down the plates of food for everyone
"Never mind," Charlize said as everyone laughed
They ate for about 20 something minutes making light conversation as they were eating and then
*Music starts playing*
"What up! What up! I'm DJ Marv!" Marvin said at the DJ booth with his microphone
"The ladies favorite DJ!!" some of the people said the inside joke
"And it's time for dancing and I know all you beasts can dance so you better come on out to the dance floor!" Marvin said as he went back to Deejaying and started playing dancing music
"Dudes let's get out there!" Julian said to the table as he and Charlize grabbed Sean and Bailey from the table towards the dance floor
"I'll see you all on the dance floor!" Beauchamp said as he and Any followed them to the dance floor
"Come on Kayc?!" Tahani said as she grabbed Kaycee and brought her to the dance floor
"So..." Kenneth says as now only he and Josh were left at the table "Wanna dance?"
"Why not?" Josh said as the two get up and join everyone else on the dance floor
Since prom was for anyone 21 and younger there were still a lot of young kids there whether they belonged there or not as it didn't have an age minimum
But as time went on most of the kids left because of bedtimes, curfews, and such leaving the only the older teens and adults
Some people were dancing inappropriately, some were not even dancing but everyone was having a good time
The Imma dancers even did some routines to songs they knew that were choreographed by Will and/or Janelle whenever the song came on
But mostly it was either friend's dancing and fooling around together or people were freestyling with people watching
Julian then started freestyling who was then accidentally bumped into Bailey and a small dance battle emerged
"Uh oh, we got a dance battle!" Nat said taking the microphone from Marvin and pointing to where Julian, Bailey and their group was at making all focus on them as a familiar song started playing
"I got an idea" Tahani whispered to the closest ones to her which was Kenneth Charlize and Julian and they all nodded
The song started playing and Kenneth and Tahani started doing Kenneth's Indigo choreo
"Wow they're bringing out the choreo" Josh commented
"We need to respond," Kaycee said getting a little competitive "But Josh and I don't know too many of the same choreo"
Nat was picking the songs and she knows the eight pretty well so there was no telling what she will pick as they didn't discuss this beforehand and everyone else was watching them so no one was telling her which song would be best
"Well Kaycee you and I do, and Bailey and Josh have that S-Rank connection," Sean said as Kaycee nodded while Josh raised his eyebrow seeing Sean's intention
"You and I know some of the same choreos too Sean," Bailey said as the music started changing
"Yeah, but who would dance with Josh?" Sean said as Josh just shrugged
The song changed to a familiar one Buy U A Drank by T-Pain which made Bailey groaned as she knows this choreo by Melvin Timtim and Rie Hata too well at this point
"Melvin's choreo is tough," Kenneth said as they watch Bailey and Josh dance
"The fact Bailey's doing this in heels is unfair," Tahani said
"Yeah but I know a pretty good choreographer too," Charlize said winking at him
"Who? Kyle? I'm not too good at doing his style" Julian said referring to Kyle Hanagami
"No you idiot, you!" Charlize said as the song started to change again
"Oh let's do it!" Julian said knowing the song easily
Julian and Charlize then did their Dance with Me choreo they did on world of dance minus the bench prop
"They seem even more flirty," Josh said as he remembers the rehearsals Julian had him see and the routine was flirty then and even more now
"Wow," Sean said "It's even better seeing it live"
"Yeah but we got this" Kaycee said as the two high fived
Sean and Kaycee then did Tricia's Plain Jane choreo
"Alright you win," Kenneth said as the group reconnected and the watchers left them alone pleased with the entertainment
"Nah you got us," Josh said
"I'm just happy we never have to seriously vs each other" Tahani said as everyone agreed
The music then changed to a slow song and a lot of people left the dance floor as not everyone knows how or feels comfortable dancing to slow songs or they just needed a breather, but a good number of people used this opportunity to actually be with their dates
"So, do you wanna dance?" Josh asked Kaycee
"Do you even know how to slow dance?" Kaycee asked as Josh ushered her to the dance floor
"It's simple right you just dance slow, right?" Josh said as Kaycee laughed at his reasoning "I mean I know I dance pretty fast but I think I can slow down enough"
"No, it's more than just that," Kaycee said as she starts adjusting Josh's posture and hand placement "Yeah more like that"
"O-okay," Josh said as at this point their faces were only inches apart, and with Josh's hand on Kaycee's waist and Kaycee's hand on Josh's neck with their opposite hands interlocked
"Wow this is the first time I've ever seen you get nervous around me" Kaycee giggled
"Sorry it's just this is a lot closer than I thought we would be," Josh said as he looked away not showing his flustered face
"I'm sorry that I made things awkward between us," Kaycee said "I guess I have been acting really close with you these past two days"
"It's fine I guess it's just sudden not bad just sudden," Josh said
"I wasn't there but Tahani told me that you would only ask out someone you like and... you asked me," Kaycee said "Do... Do you... like me?"
"Kaycee I..." Josh said as this was the first time this came up so he didn't know how to respond
"It's fine, I was just curious since this past couple of weeks have been a little rough for me," Kaycee said as she looked to her right and her tongue popped out a little at the sight she was viewing
"You like Sean, don't you?" Josh asked as he sees she's looking at Sean
"It's obvious, isn't it?" Kaycee said
"Yeah but you think Sean likes Bailey your best friend so you don't know what to do," Josh said "Because if something bad happens between them it's like picking sides or ruining friendships"
"It's a no-win situation," Kaycee said as she rested her head-on Josh's chest as she enters deep thought "You know you never answered my question"
"I know," Josh said as they just swayed to the music
Julian, Charlize, Tahani, Kenneth, Sean, and Bailey were all at a table eating a few snacks and drinking some punch as they all watched the other couples like Nat and Manny dance together
"Aw, Josh and Kaycee are dancing together!" Charlize said pointing to the two
"Cute!" Bailey said as Sean rolled his eyes again
"Do any of you boys know how to slow dance?" Tahani asked Sean, Julian, and Kenneth
Sean and Julian raised their hands
"And you haven't even bothered to ask them to dance? Such bad dates!" Tahani said as Bailey and Charlize nodded in agreement
"Fine let's go, Char!" Julian said as he took Charlize to the dance floor
"Bailey, do you mind dancing with me?" Sean asked
"I don't mind," Bailey said as Sean escorted her
"Are you enjoying yourself?" Kenneth asked Tahani as they were now by themselves
"Yeah especially ever since everyone officially got in!" Tahani said as after the notion of going with someone she likes was unrealistic she just wanted to party with all her friends
"Yeah glad that worked out but how are you feeling? Anything that I can do to help?" Kenneth said
"No, I'm having a great time! Sure, it isn't like the really romantic stuff like how I was always told in movies and such but I'm still young and growing up so it's fine" Tahani said, "How are you feeling?"
"I'm great!! I'm happy this happened to be the month I was in LA, I just missed spending time with everyone!" Kenneth said
"Yeah same," Tahani said as if Kenneth wasn't here she would have no idea how these date arrangements would have gone for the group whether Sean asked the right girl or not
"You want to dance?" Kenneth asked as he stood up with his hand out
"But you just said you don't know how to slow dance," Tahani said
"I mean-" Kenneth laughed as he pointed to Julian stepping on Charlize's toes by accident "We can't be worse than them"
"Ha-ha! You're right!" Tahani laughed
"For such a good dancer, you sure have two left feet when trying to slow dance" Charlize laughed as Julian is embarrassed
"Sorry I learned how to slow dance from my mom years ago, by dancing with my sister I guess I'm out of practice," Julian said as he was trying to watch his steps
"Or maybe it's because you were dancing with your little sister and you two weren't dancing as close as we are now?" Charlize said as Julian missteps aren't from going in the wrong direction but just not giving Charlize's feet enough space with each step as her feet would be closer to him than Julian's sister or mother
"Probably that would make sense," Julian said as he started to readjust his foot placement
"Don't worry about your feet just focus on me," she said as he adjusted his face to look at her as they stared into each other's eyes "Just follow my lead this time"
"Yes ma'am" Julian muttered out
"Don't call me that it makes me feel old!" Charlize said lightly slapping his shoulder
"Sorry, grandma!" Julian teased as he reached a smack to the back of his head "You hit like one too!"
"Childish!" Charlize laughed as she knows none of that was serious "I don't know what I'm going to do with you"
"Deal with it," Julian said
"I guess I have to," Charlize said with a smile that made Julian's heart speed up
"Hey I need to tell you something," Julian said thinking now was a good time as any
"Later," Charlize said confusing Julian "I just want to enjoy tonight, ok?"
"Ok," Julian said as he relaxed as he doesn't have to confess his feelings tonight "Know how to ballroom?"
"No... you do!?" Charlize said as Julian nodded "Show me!"
"You look beautiful tonight," Sean said
"Thank you," Bailey said
"Honestly, I don't know how you didn't get a date to this before I asked you," Sean said
"I guess but I'm happy I'm here with you," Bailey said
"Yeah same, you are funny, pretty, confident, outspoken, smart and amazing," Sean said as he took a second to really say what he was about to say "Do you want to go out with me?"
"Yes!" Bailey said hugging him mid-dance then kissing him
"Hey, can I dance with Sean?" Kaycee asked Josh
"Um..." Josh said as he sees Sean and Bailey kissing "Later?"
"Why later?" Kaycee said as she tried to turn around but Josh stopped her by twirling her which made her giggle at the sudden move "Like dancing with me that much?"
"I mean... I... Uh... Kenny!" Josh said as Kenneth and Tahani wandered over "Let me dance with Tahani and you take Kaycee"
"Sure..." Kenneth said noticing the Sean-Bailey thing as well and despite not knowing the secret he could see the potential awkwardness "Come on Kayc"
"You know she's going to find out sooner or later," Tahani said as she now dances with Josh
"Yeah but something tells me catching them kissing isn't the best way," Josh said
"True," Tahani said as Julian and Charlize came over "Look at the couple"
"What!" Julian freaked out
"Dance couple, partner's same thing," Tahani said
"Oh..." Julian relaxed as Charlize looked skeptical "So what? Is everyone switching dates?"
"No just... wanted to dance with Tahani," Josh said as he remembered Charlize is unaware of what is happening
"Hey everyone!" Bailey said as she and Sean came over hand in hand getting the six's attention "We're dating!"
"Awesome," Kaycee said
"So, before the new pair run away after that reveal, date swap!" Tahani said as mostly everyone looked confused "I call Julian!"
"Um ok!" Julian getting ripped away from Charlize
"I guess that forces me with Bailey," Kenneth said acting disappointed
"Shut up!" Bailey said grabbing Kenneth "I'll see you later Sean!"
"...😐" Charlize said as she sees Julian and Tahani dance
"Char?" Josh said waving his hand in front of her face
"Huh? Oh sorry, well since we're swapping that means Josh can't dance with Kaycee" Charlize said "Meaning I'll take the price tag"
"Wow don't sound too excited" Josh commented as he looked back briefly as this was the kind of situation he was trying to avoid
"So just you and me" Sean commented as it was just him and Kaycee left
"You didn't even pick me first," Kaycee said as Sean failed to answer "Unacceptable!"
"I didn't even know what was going on?!" Sean said as Kaycee just ignored his reasoning "... Just dance with me you weirdo" Sean said as Kaycee started to dance with him
"Last time we tried slow dancing we kept laughing" Kaycee brought up as they both laughed at the memory
"I mean it's your fault," Sean said
"My fault?! You came over to me with that confused look on your face" Kaycee said
"And you started cackling which made me laugh," Sean said
"And when you started laughing I couldn't stop," Kaycee said, "Therefore your fault, I'm right!"
"Can I ever win you," Sean said as he and Kaycee noticed the way he phrased that "Win an argument with you"
"It's all about how bad you want it," Kaycee said

(The dance battle sequence was weird and last minute but oh well. If you wonder why I picked that Sean and Kaycee dance it's because a lot of Sean's choreo is either emotional/contemporary which IMO wouldn't be played at prom and a lot of his choreo is either lifting Kaycee or groundwork which I don't think is a good idea if Kaycee's wearing a dress)
