Why hello there! I have absolutely nothing to say right now because my brain is shutting down, but I hope you enjoy this chapter!
~Kai's POV~
I sat in the classroom by as Koro-sensei prepped lab for us, whilst being attack by three of my classmates who held ant-sensei knives. "Every time he does things like this, it always amazes me." I said watching my tentacled teacher slither around the classroom as the bell rang.
After an experiment Koro-sensei showed us about the extraction of coloring from processed foods, the octopus took all of our food that was leftover away. "Wait! We bought those for ourselves!" One of us yelled. I just looked at the table and rubbed small circles into it with my finger. "Yeah and I really wanted to eat mine..." I pouted quietly.
I then saw Okuda walk up to Koro-sensei and she then asked if he would drink some poisons she had created for him. "Well, she doesn't beat around the bush." I heard Maehara say. I stood up and stepped over to Koro-sensei and Okuda whilst the others gave her some weird looks. They then turned their attention to me.
"Hey, give the girl some credit here! This is Okuda, a girl who is from what I've seen very shy, and for her to get up and stand in front of the whole class to ask a question like that? That takes some confidence!" I smiled at her. "If I were in her shoes, I wouldn't be able to do it." She smiled and thanked me. "No problem! I'd actually like to see how your poison will affect him first hand, so I'll stand right here with you, if that's okay?" I asked and she nodded in response.
The class looked at us before Koro-sensei chugged down the first poison. We all stared at him as he pulsed as if he were dying. We thought it might actually be the end... Until his face turned blue and he grew small horns. He asked Okuda if he should try the other two serums she had with her. "Yes please!" She said with a bit of excitement and I giggled watching to see what would happen next.
Koro-sensei drank the second poison and pulsed again before his face turned green and he grew wings. 'How odd...' I thought as he drank the last one. He seemed to be surrounded by a rather dark aura and pulsed once again. Then his face changed to his blank face. "Huh?" I said as the others made their comments.
Koro-sensei scolded Okuda for using toxic substances unsupervised. He then offered her a lesson on how to make a poison with a better kick to it. She gladly accepted of course. 'Why do I feel as if something isn't right here...' I thought.
~Time Skip Brought To You By Okuda's Glasses~
The next morning in class we found Okuda with another poison at the ready. She said it was a special homework assignment for her to make it and bring it to him this morning. "I hope it goes well for you Okuda, I believe in you."
I smiled and she thanked me. "Heh you're welcome." I said before Koro-sensei walked in. "Speak of the devil." I said as I quickly sat down, giving Okuda a thumbs up before she turned and walked up to the octopus.
"Here it is sir, just like you asked." Okuda stated. "Ah, nice work." He replied before drinking it down. 'I still feel like there is something wrong here, and I have no clue as to why...' I thought as he glowed a nice shade of red, laughing in an evil way.
"Thank you Okuda." He told her. 'Why is he thanking her? For what?' I was fairly confused now. "Thank you very much indeed, this concoction is precisely what I needed to level up!" He continued. "Wait, you... I don't..." Okuda managed to get out before Koro-sensei... Melted!? 'I knew something was up!'
"He melted!?" We yelled as he explained his new form. He even appeared on top of my desk at some point. "Um... Do you have to be on top of my desk sensei?" I asked as he said that the best thing about it was that he wouldn't lose speed. Just then he started bouncing across the room at his Mach 20 speed.
"You tricked me! That's not fair!" Okuda yelled up at Koro-sensei who was in the corner of the room and on the ceiling. Koro-sensei then went on to explain how what he was doing was actually fair in the world of assassins. I just smiled realizing that his plan was to teach Okuda a lesson. "Amazed me once again sensei." I spoke.
Later on we were making our way down the mountain for an assembly and I was honestly a bit done with the experience already. I just came because wanted to see what kind of things they would say about me. Maybe I'll get a good laugh out of it? I felt a bit bad though because we left Karma alone up there, but he was the one who was ditching, not us.
"Ugh... This is so not the highlight of my day... So Nagi, are you ready for the assembly?" I asked looking towards the bluenette. "As ready as I'll ever be." He replied. "I feel the same way." I said with a sigh. Okajima on the other hand was not having a good time at all as he ran past us and down the mountain covered in snakes and bees.
"Poor guy..." I said as we stopped to take a rest, and soon enough Bitch-sensei ran up to us. "Why hello there Bitch-sensei!" I said as she dropped to the ground panting. I smiled whilst everyone rested before continuing down the mountain with them once more.
Upon reaching the main campus we all fell to the ground tiredly. I rubbed my cheek a bit to get a smudge of dirt off of it. "I'm surprised we made it down in time." I said as some of the others made their comments. "Hurry up people, we've got to get in line before they start." Isogai told us all and we groaned in response before standing. "Okay..."
After getting inside and lining up we stood their waiting for the assembly to start. "Wow Kai," I turned to some guys who said my name. "You seem to be fitting in nicely with those E class deadbeats. Hopefully you didn't hurt yourself when you fell down the mountain." They said and laughed. I smiled to myself and turned back to face the stage.
As they started the assembly they just insulted and laughed at us. 'Not surprising that they have to pull others down to bring themselves up. I just don't know how that'll help them in life, out in the real world. Hm...' I thought as I listened to their laughs.
Then Bitch-sensei and Mr. Karasuma walked in, capturing the eyes of everyone around. "Hey Bitch-sensei~" I smiled at her before she stepped over to Nagisa. She pulled his face into her boobs and held him there trying to get info from him. I stepped out of line and over to them before trying to pry Irina off of Nagisa.
"Bitch-sensei no~ Not my poor innocent Nagi~" I said watching Karasuma pull her off of him. "Thanks Mr. Karasuma!" I smiled before hugging Nagisa and petting him. "Oh, I should probably get back to my spot in line now heh... Talk to you later Nagi~" I let go of the bluenette walking back over to my spot in line.
Then we found out that we didn't get a hand out that had just been passed out to everyone. 'Wow, so original....' I sighed before Koro-sensei appeared wearing his human disguise, giving us the hand out we needed. "There you go Isogai!" I heard his cheery voice say. "That should take care of it I think. All of you have a copy of the hand out now, correct?" He asked and I nodded in response with a big smile.
We started laughing after Irina tried stabbing Koro-sensei before getting pulled away again by Karasuma. Soon after that, the assembly was over. I walked outside talking with Nagisa, Sugino, and Kayano.
Nagisa said that he wanted to get a drink and that he'll meet us back up the mountain. "Well my throat is feeling a bit dry as well, so I'll stay behind with you if that's alright Nagi?" He told me that it was fine and we then waved to Sugino and Kayano as they left.
After getting our drinks we heard voices say our names from close by. We turned to the voices to find those two guys who picked on us earlier. "You proud of yourselves, acting like you're having the time of your lives? Laughing during assembly, not cool. You bums ever here of respect?" They spoke. "If I was in E class I'd keep my head down and my mouth shut." One said with a smirk.
"Yeah, and I sure as hell wouldn't have a reason to laugh." The other said as they warned us about watching what look we gave them. 'Warning me? About what? What are you gonna do?' Is all I could ask myself. "Something you wanna say scumbag? You want me to kill your ass!?" One said, taking a hold of Nagisa's shirt with his hands. "Yeah I'll kill you if you don't watch it!" The other said taking a hold of my shirt with one hand.
'Seriously?...' I thought as I giggled to myself. "What's so funny you punk!?" The one holding me yelled as Nagisa chuckled. We both looked up at them with a dark smile. There was a glint of bloodlust in our eyes, and you could clearly see it. "Like you've got the balls to try. Go right ahead." We both said in unison and they immediately let us go. We then walked off up the mountain together with smiles on our faces.
