I put my headphones down on the desk beside me. I shouldn't be worried over some shitty villains, but... But I am. What if they actually hurt my friends?
I pushed all the thoughts out of my head and finally laid down on the sheets. I let my eyes close as I gently drifted off to a peaceful sleep. For now, at least.
"Wait! No! Don't Go!" My arm reached out towards nothing. I couldn't save them. I wasn't strong enough. Everyone I cared about, slipping right out of my grasp again. They were right there and I couldn't help.
My vision went red.
"You're useless. You can never be a hero." A voice sounded from the dark abyss.
"N-no! I can still save them!" My mouth moved involuntarilly.
"No you can't."
My eyes popped open as I turned to look at the clock. It's... it's only been 15 minutes. Damnit.
I stood up and walked over to the computer.
