I cried that night for the first time in years.
Because of a girl.
It killed me knowing she was out of reach, but even more that she was a she.
I could've figured out a way to dismiss my feelings toward her to my family if she was a guy.
I could've told them it could decrease the suspicion regarding our role with Voldemort in earlier years, if I were emotionally involved with a muggleborn.
