"I think it's great that we are helping the new kid but we also have to think about our own safety, I mean he's bleeding all over and you know there's an epidemic of AIDS right now, as we speak, right. Well my moms friend from New York City got it by touching a dirty pole in the subway and a lot of AIDS blood got into his system from a hangnail, a hangnail!" Eddie starts rambling, freaking himself out.
"And you can amputate the legs and arms, b-but how do you amputate a waist? Wait, How do you amputate a waist!" Eddie called out in a panic.
I put a hand on Eddies shoulder, he tensed for a second because relaxing again.
"Eddie, you need to calm down. No one is getting aids alright, you're going to be fine." I say reassuring him, as he starts to calm himself down.
We all got off our bikes, while helping Ben onto a brown wooden stool so he can rest.
"Ugh, Richie you stay here" Bill said making his way towards the drug store with Stanley and Eddie.
Eddie turned around to see me standing still aswell.
"I'm staying here" I stated.
"What!" Eddie said a little bit too loudly, I heard a small chuckle from Richie but I chose to ignore it.
"I need to stay with my brother" I explained and Eddie slightly nodded, before continuing to walk with Stanley and Bill.
"Glad I got to meet you before you died" Richie stated, I gave him a death glare, punching Richie in the arm for saying that.
"Ow, okay, I deserved that" Richie said rubbing his arm that I just hit.
"Is this the only time you're going to admit you were wrong about something? I never thought this day would come" I say sarcastically, wiping fake tears from my eyes.
"Okay no, shut up" he said shaking his head, I just chuckled at him in response.
We stayed quiet for a little bit, me looking over at Ben and his wounds.
"So you and Eddie huh" Richie said, sitting down next to Ben.
"Excuse me, what?" I asked confusedly, my heart rate increasing.
"You and Eddie. It's so obvious that you have a thing for him and he obviously has a thing for you. When you laughed at my joke, in his expense, totally drove him crazy. That's just a sign he likes you" Richie explained.
"I don't like him" I stated shaking my head, Richie laughed in disbelief.
"You just don't see it yet" he says before closing his eyes, ending the conversation.
"What do you mean he likes me" I asked and Richie sighs.
"Ugh now we are just going to be talking about this aren't we, well First off of you didn't like him, you wouldn't care if Eddie liked you or not, so basically you just exposed your feelings for him." Richie says, closing his eyes again.
"Alright, but how do you know if he likes he back" I state again.
"He's different when he's around you, he cares more about what he says and what he does, when you laugh at my jokes it drives him crazy because he's jealous. He clearly likes you and it hurts my eyes to watch you two like each other and not even admit it to each other. like that's just next level virgin shit" Richie said with a serious face, I rolled my eyes at the last part.
"I've never seen you more serious Tozier" I laughed as he rolled his eyes.
"Don't get used to it" is all he said before closing his eyes again, I decided not to push him further about Eddie and let him sleep
Instead I turn to my brother, with blood still fresh.
"What happened to you?" I asked, looking at him in the eyes.
"I've already told you, Henry Bowers and his friends" he said and I shook my head.
"Where were you?" I asked and his sighed in frustration.
"I was at the library then I left then Henry Bowers basically kidnapped me and took me to the bridge, you know the one with all the couple names and thing and then he said he wanted to write his name on my belly which he did but then I got away" he said and my eyes widen.
"One day I'm going to kill that guy" I mumbled under my breath casually Ben to laugh.
"Well if you do, I'm going to be there with you every step of the way" he said with a smile and I gave him a sweet one back.
"What is taking them so long?" I huffed, looking at the blood coming out off Bens wounds.
"They only had like five bucks so Eddie will probably be panicking on what is the most important, he'll probably die from stress, so a while" Richie replied still with his eyes closed.
"Do you need anything? A water or anything?" I asked Ben but he shook his head.
"Yeah I would like a water sweetie, maybe a brownie could be nice" Richie said laying with his arms behind his head.
"Woah real smooth Tozier" I say rolling my eyes, Ben laughing at me.
"Wow looks who's back, how'd you get all that stuff, didn't we only have like five bucks?" Richie asked in surprise.
"We stole it" Eddie said and Richie burst out laughing.
"You? Eddie the mamas boy, Steal something? I'm shocked" Richie laughed making Eddie rolls his eyes and start looking at Ben's wounds again.
"If I get aids, I'm blaming you Summer" Eddie said to me and I couldn't help but laugh.
Eddie crutches down infront of Ben, lifting up just shirt to analyse his injuries.
"Just suck the wound" Richie said, loosing his patience.
"I need to focus right now" he said, dismissing Richie.
"You need to focus?" Richie said challenging eddie.
"Yes, can you bring me something" Eddie asked Richie.
"Oh, god! What do you need?" Richie huffed.
"My bifocals, they're in my second fannypack" Eddie said, concentrating on Ben.
"Why do you have two Fannypacks?" Stan and I asked at the same time, making us both laugh.
"I need to focus right now, it's a long story" Eddie says trying to ignore Richie, his cheeks turning red of embarrassment.
"You need to suck the wound and then apply the bandaid, this is 101" Richie said looking frustrated.
"You don't even know what you're talking about" Eddie hissed.
"You okay? That looks like it hurt" A girl with red hair appeared with Bill, Bill has flushed Rosey cheeks and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"No, I'm fine, I fell" Ben lies with a small smile.
I look at him strangely then back to the red haired girl, Ben had red cheeks aswell, I can't tell if it's from embarrassment or a crush.
"Yeah... right into Henry Bowers" Richie scoffs.
"Shut it, R-Richie" Bill said sternly.
"Why? It's the truth" Richie huffed, rolling his eyes.
"You sure they got the... right stuff to fix you up?" she said with a small wink.
My eyes widen as I understand what's going on.
"We'll take care of him, thank you again, Beverly" Bill said, dismissing her. Either because he saw the wink and was slightly jealous or he generally didn't want her to feel bad.
"Sure, maybe I'll see you around" she said, smiling into bills eyes.
"We thought of going to the quarry tomorrow, if you want to come?" Bill asked looking at her intensively.
"Good to know, thanks" she says before walking away. I don't know what was just going on but she definitely has Ben and Bill wrapped around her little finger.
"Nice going bring up Bowers in front of her" Stanley scoffs crossing his arms
"Yeah you heard what she did" Eddie agreed.
"What'd she do?" Ben and I asked at the same time.
"More like who'd she do, for what I hear, her list is longer then my wang" Richie laughs, everyone else just shakes their heads at him.
"That's not saying much" Stanley protests, I chuckled at his comment.
"They're j-j-just rumours" Bill says, defending Beverly.
"Anyway, Bill had her back in 3rd grade. They kissed in the school play, the reviews said that you can't fake that kind of passion." Richie exclaims recalling the memory.
I look down to Eddie, he was struggling covering up Ben wounds, I can see through bens eyes and Eddies frustration that it's hurting Ben.
"Here, let me help" I say crouching down, applying the bandage on bens stomach.
"Don't get to good at this Summer, Eddie might just marry you" Richie snorts, the air from my lungs vanish as I cough.
Eddie face turns bright red, looking over at Richie in anger.
"Do you have an off switch" Eddies hissed at Richie. Richie just smirked and shook his head.
"I don't know, would you like to try and find it" he said and Eddie gagged.
"You're literally disgusting" Eddie comments.
"Now, pip pip antellio my good fellows, I do believe this chap deserves our up most attention. Get in there Dr K, come on, fix him up" Richie said in a fake British accent, a terrible British accent.
"Why don't you shut the fuck up Einstein because I know what I'm doing and I don't want you doing the British guy on me right now-" Eddie says scoffing at Richie.
"Suck the wound, get in there!" Richie says, pointing to Ben still in his British accent.
Eddie just starred at him blankly before him and I finish patching up Ben.
"You shouldn't sucked the wound" Richie blandly stated.
"No that's disgusting, you're disgusting. I'm going home now, it's nearly 7 and my mom will literally have a stroke if I'm even a minute late" Eddie said, getting up off the ground, making his way to his bike.
"Yeah I'm off guys, see you at the quarry tomorrow" Stanley said, riding away from us into the streets.
"You c-coming to the quarry tomorrow s-Summer?" Bill asked, Eddie stopped moving and looked towards the rest of us.
"I mean yeah I guess so, can ben come?" I asked and he nodded.
"Definitely, welcome to the losers club Ben" Richie says slapping his stomach. Ben let out a groan of where Richie hit him.
"Seriously Richie?" I asked and he laughed.
"I had too, anyways I'm off, I only have about twenty minutes until the arcade closes, I'll see you all tomorrow" he said, riding away to the arcade.
"Are you guys good on getting back home?" Eddie asked and I nodded.
"Our house is only about five or ten minutes away, we can walk" I explained and Eddie nodded.
"Well I'll see you guys tomorrow" Bill said, peddling off.
I helped Ben to his feet which was easier because he could actually walk now.
"I'll see you tomorrow Summer" Eddie said with a small blush, waiting for my response.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow Eddie" I say with a sweet smile, watching him ride his bike home.
