Haunted house

As Dozer ,My mom , and I arrived at the big creepy creak mansion just at the tippy top of the hill I heard a scream that disappeared in the wind it was so sudden that I spilled my piping hot coffee on my lap
"Are you okay" my mother Carrie said when I screamed Ow
It sounded like she didn't hear the scream that scared me
"Uh...yeah I'm fine" I hesitated, as we pulled up to the mansion, i unbuckled my seatbelt and walked up to the large cement stairs, I smell a smell you will never smell it was so foul like rotting milk and eggs the smell was so revolting my nose hairs died, I push the door and somehow it was unlocked.
Cre-ek all the way open now,
"Umm....Honey where are you going?" Carrie said as I walk in the big creepy mansion.
"to look around......i'll be back" I said as I walked through the big old door and up the stairs, I see a shadow coming from the study so I went to go investigate
Cre-ek Cre-ek each their creeks as I step on then slam my door opens as I get close to it help hope I hear a faint voice in the distance I run towards it and nothing is in the room but a fireplace, chair, table stand, and a few paintings of a very beautiful Lady. I hear my mother calling downstairs to help her with stuff as I turn around.....
"Hello mam... This is private property, what are you doing here?" The big man said in a strong tone
"I...I'm Nicole and I live here!" I said hesitated
"This house has been vacant for years now leave or u shall have the chance to die!!!" He yelled
I walk past him and went downstairs to find my mom all her stuff was in her room but she was gone I looked everywhere but the dark and creepy basement so I grab the keys and headed to the door it was covered in cobwebs like it was never been used I turn towards the counter to grab my net grab a knife in the keys and headed to the door it was covered in cobwebs like it's never been used. I turn towards the counter to grab a knife and the keys but when I turned around and saw the big,tall, stern faced man he yelled
" I told you to leave or are you shall have the chance to die just like her!" he said fustrated while charging at me with a butcher knife in his hand with blood on it boom pain it was in my chest I closed my eyes faintly and drifted to sleep
Then......... I woke up panting loudly
