Kova
After my embarrassing tantrum I had I really regret it. I mean I really like her. Ugh. So we all walked back on campus to go back to our dorms, I noticed Ahria was way in the back I hope I didn't hurt her. I slowed down to talk to her. " I'm sorry about earlier that's a sore spot for me."
Ahria glanced over at me and her face got red. " Actually I'm sorry I shouldn't have started the fight I was just angry about something else, and um... I'm not sure how to say this but you have a nice sound to you."
"A nice sound what does that mean?" I think might have something to do with her ability over sound waves.
"Well I was raised by my aunt to appreciate and notice all sounds of nature and people."
We kept on talking about her past why she uses a great axe when she fights. She said it her job to be able to cut down any danger to nature and her animal friends. That just makes me like her even more. Then Jayce turned around and said "Alright Kova say goodnight to your little girlfriend you still have to unpack."
And the stupidest thing came out of my mouth. "She's not my girlfriend!" Dead Silence. Oh crap I looked at her and she was almost in tears but not the way I thought, she was laughing so hard, then everybody laughed so I just laughed too.
I walked up to Rai and told him goodnight after Ahria of course. "Hey little bro be safe okay if you see any one in a cloak that isnt one of us let me know Chrono said our dorms are only around the corner okay." He pointed to the building that was two buildings down but on the opposite side of where me Jayce and Axel are.
The rest of the gang left and then I noticed where did Dr. Claus go. This guy is a nut case I swear. I went upstairs and I went to my room well our room I guess there were a set of bunk beds and another bed that I guess belonged to Jayce. I unpacked leaned my staff against the wall and got ready for a bath. I sat in the water just thinking about the cloaked guys and Ahria and how did Axel know Jayce if he arrived with us at the academy. I don't know might just be over thinking stuff. I finished scrubbing and put on my favorite doggy pajamas. I let out my lion and he just kinda laid out on the floor and went to sleep, was it just me or was he looking more life like than just being made out of earth? I rolled over in my bed and went to sleep.
Iris
I just realized that I never got my living arrangements but then the girl that Kova was talking to earlier let me know I was staying with her. She had a very wonderful aura it was if a group of instruments were playing together beautifully. We got to know each other she glanced at my knife that was at my hip in its sheath. "Wow that's so pretty who gave that to you?" I just thought about it when was the last time I talked to Rai.
"Rai gave it to me before we got to the academy he just cool like that I guess."
I really like Ahria she seems like a good friend and finally I'm not the only girl here. We walked to our room and unpacked we kept talking about just random stuff from our powers and weapons to our past and history to Kova's doggy pajamas. It was fun not being the only girl. I think I should start a Diary of my adventures. Yeah that seems like a good Idea.
Rai
Then just like that it was me and Chrono all alone. Then out of nowhere I got really nervous. Then Chrono said something. "Hey Rai do you like video games?" I'm so happy he broke the ice.
"Yeah I play them there fun." Then I thought about the game I bought Kova back where we lived. I should go get that. "There was this one game I used to play with Kova back at home it was called Beast Master 3 I think."
We walked to my new dorm and talked about video games and about our friends (All good things by the way). I walked in and saw a only bed room there was space for another one but it wasn't there.
"Oh yea I forgot to put up another bed for you I guess we could just share for tonight." Then he started stumbling between words. "I mean uh um... If you don't mind?"
I was both happy and nervous I mean now I know I really like the guy I just don't want to do anything awkward. "Yea I mean why not it's not a problem." I didn't care that we were both guys I just know there is something there between us I mean electricity and data relate somehow I mean I can't explain it but yeah.
So I unpacked and I took a shower got cleaned up. Then I started randomly over thinking stuff I hate when that happens. It got so bad I shorted out the lights in the bathroom.
I walked back out and saw that Chrono sleeps shirtless. Just like I do and another nervous spike. I'm trying keep myself calm and make sure I don't do anything weird. So I laid down next to him and he was looking at the ceiling and said the most random yet coolest thing. " Do you ever just look at someone and think I would love to spend time with them." And as he said that he copied his desktop screen saver and like pasted it on the ceiling but the clouds were moving it was if we were looking at the night sky.
"Wow dude that's amazing."
"That's nothing wanna see something even better." He said as in a flash we were in some video game sitting on a mountain together i mean we were still in our pj's but the moment was amazing. I looked over at him and I saw a two dimensional life bar above his head and I guessed I had one too. "This is what I like to call Data Diving. I pretty much mix our consciousness with the Data around us so that we are the main characters of this video game."
I wished I had Beast Master 3 now I mean that would be an awesome game to to be in. Oh and that one other game that I can't call. "Do you know the game Trials of Vespiria we could bring a couple of the other guys in here."
"Uh well I was hoping we could well um... keep this as kinda our thing you know." I don't think Chrono shares with others usually, wait could that mean I'm special some how. "You know another thing thats really cool this is like sleeping for us you know that."
"Oh really. Also what are these level things next to our health bars?"
"Thats for later lets just chill out for now." Even though we don't need sleep it was nice just to rest and relax. It didn't hurt too have Chrono right next to me too.
Axel
Today was my first day back to classes and now all the other guys are just starting. I just gotta go to Blast class I wonder who's teaching that now. I head down to class and I notice that the city was surprisingly empty. Was I being followed? I turned and saw a shadow moving on the ground it wasn't mine. I jumped back as it rose off the earth.
"Cedric. What do you want?" He stepped closer and I slowly reached for my gun.
"Oh that must be new. Axel I see you found new friends. Is that why you left us?" Cedric knew how to push my buttons but I didn't let him have the satisfaction. I looked around and noticed there were a few others on top of buildings. I was surrounded.
"I left because I didn't want to kill any more I gave up that life." I said loud enough so that all of them could hear.
"Oh you mean the life of Breath Taker Axel? I miss that guy at least he knew how to have fun." One of the other members of the troupe said from on top of the building.
"Have fun we just killed people who did not want to join. That was the only reason I stayed."
Cedric started laughing. " The only reason you say why must you lie to us we are like family. We took you in after you ran away from home."
I looked down in anger of my past decisions. Why is it so hard to run away from your past? Why does it have to come up at every given moment. I looked up and yelled with tears in my eyes. "Is that why you set a copy of Gloz to come after me? Is that why you sent him and Ame to hurt Ms. Rune? Is that why you sent creatures after Ahria?"
"You get it now we just miss you thats all." Gloz chortled as he jumped to the ground. I started to consider going back for the sake of my friends I couldn't stand for them to get hurt.
"Fine but I can't just disappear Cedric and a few others are gonna have to take me by force so they can know. There will be a fight just so you know." I said that knowing full well Rai won't let this happen without a battle but I wont be able to help. I just hope he knows I'm putting my faith in him even if they lose they won't take this standing down.
"Glad you see it my way and Gloz can have a little talk with your friend. I know just who I will bring."
They left and let me go to class nothing important happened I saw Rai and the others I was afraid to talk about what happened. We walked out to the training dome where we met Dr. Claus. Me, Rai, Kova, Iris, Jayce, Ahria and Chrono. It was nice and peacefull until the lights went out.
Next thing I knew I was grabbed and taken to the stage wrapped in... Vines.
