Author's POV
Sehun slowly opened his eyes after a long sleep time. He blinked for a few moments.
"Ugh, I'm still sleepy," he murmured while burying himself back in the blanket.
He would spend all the day on this comfortable bed rather than going to work.
As his arms spreaded out to take the cell phone he placed on the table beside the bed, he looked at the time on the screen.
"It's just 7," he muttered and threw it back eventually. There's still plenty of times left.
But, Sehun suddenly remembered one thing. He sighed out deeply, how could he possibly forgot that he lived under the same room with the boss?
After thinking about his life, for a few while, he forcefully stood up from the bed.
The bathroom door seemed far when it was just near. Honestly, why would he need to work?
He clicked, open, the door before entering it. He started stripping and turn on the shower tap.
It was really refreshing to have a shower this early. He felt like all the problems were gone at the moment.
Sehun went out of the bathroom after a few minutes, with water dripping from his hair and through his collar bone.
He straight up took the work suit and quickly wore it. A smile curved on his face while he was admiring his own figure.
It was all ready for him to get to work, if he was still at his own house.
But this time, it was slightly different actually.
"Good morning, Sehun—ssi," the maids that were passing by, greeted him with their polite smile.
Sehun responded with a fond amile and a slight nodded while walking passing them.
He finally stopped at the door which was located only few centimetres from his own room.
"Why am I doing this, actually?," he muttered to himself while still staring at the blank door.
One new thing that he just knew recently was, Kai was really a heavy sleeper and hard to wake him up.
That was not the main thing or problem here, the thing was, from now, it was his job to do it.
He felt like being his wife than being called an assistant.
"Kai-ssi," he called out with a low voice tone while knocking on the door for once.
Yeah, the boss asked him to just be calling him by his name when they were at home.
Their home?
After few minutes, there was still no reply from the inside. "Kai-ssi, please wake up," he tried calling out louder.
Sehun took out a deep breath and let out a harsh one. It was really getting on his nerves actually.
"Sehun–ssi," he turned around his body at that moment when his name was being called.
"Yes, what is it?," he questioned as one of the maid was standing behind him.
The maid seemed in doubt whether to tell him or not. "It's actually kinda hard to wake him up," she whispered.
Without asking, he could already guess who was that him.
"If we did, you might don't want to know what will happen," Sehun started getting confused right now after hearing it from her.
"Why is it?," he arched his eyebrows in confusion. "What will happen if we did?," he asked again.
"He's really sensitive when he just woke up, he hated the most if people disturb his sleep," she let out an awkward giggle afterwards.
Sehun could finally understand it now and he felt like jumping out of the window.
It's not like he was afraid of him, he was just getting irritated over these kind of things now.
"Seriously?," he exclaimed and rubbed his temple in frustration.
They actually would be having a meeting like two hours more after this.
Getting the boss to wake up already took nearly an hour. What was he supposed to do?
Before Sehun could start asking more about it, the door suddenly clicked open.
"What are the noises this early in the morning?," Kai went out with a still half opened eyes and a scowl on his face.
The maid already took her way from the place and hid somewhere which Sehun didn't notice.
"Sorry for disturbing you, Kai-ssi," Sehun tried to sound polite despite that he could feel the intimidating stares on him.
"The meeting will start anytime soon, so it's time for you to wake up," he explained.
Kai was remaining silent for a few while, he didn't even flinch or utter any words.
He snorted in annoyance. "Who cares about the damn meeting?," he uttered which left Sehun in shock.
"Huh?."
Kai ruffled his hair in frustration. "If they can't wait then just get it over," he stated smoothly like it was nothing.
Sehun was dumbfounded by the non expected answer he got from him. He didn't know what else to say.
He finally fully realised it when the door was closed right in front of his face.
"What is wrong with him?," he huffed in annoyance and twisted the door knob of the door.
He stepped into the room right away and closed the door behind him, leaving the people outside in shock.
"Wait, did he just invite himself into the tiger's cage?," the maid muttered to the other one.
They both looked at each other and wondered what could happen to him inside?
"I'm really curious to know what is happening behind the door," she exclaimed in excitement.
The other one nodded in agreement. "It is really brave of him, no one ever did that though," she uttered.
But before she could respond to it, her words were cut off.
"Who's really brave?," at that moment, the whole place became silent.
Damn. This was not really a right time.
The first thing Sehun saw after he barged into the room was the figure laying on the bed.
He looked really...tired.
Kai was laying on the bed with his legs hanging off and the pillow covering his face.
Sehun could even hear a light snore coming out from his lips. The scowl on his face slowly softened.
"He looks really tired," he mumbled while his legs started approaching the latter on the bed.
Without realising, he was admiring the sleeping face of Kai. He was too adorable, like a baby bear.
But he was startled by the alarm sounded from his cell phone and took a glance at it.
"It's really late!," he exclaimed in shock and began shaking the boss' body to wake him up.
"Mr Kim, please wake up!," Sehun uttered while trying to get the latter up from his sleep.
It was a really tough job after all. Why did this grown ass man needed to be this difficult?
Sehun let out a harsh breath at the end. "Fine! I gave up," he snorted in annoyance.
He marched towards the front door when his arms was being pulled suddenly, making him fell on the bed.
"Hey! What the hell are you doing?," Sehun snapped, didn't even bother if he was talking to his boss.
Kai's arms assaulted around him and pullled him even closer. "Shut up, you're really disturbing you know."
Alright, this was getting weirder that it already was. Their position was kinda...close.
"Then, let me go!," Sehun was still struggling inside of the arms. But eventually gave up after realising it was no use.
Watching his face, this close was really irritating because he could not stop his heart from thumping furiously.
"Mr Kim—
"I told you to call me Kai at home, right?," Kai cut off while still burying his face between Sehun's shoulders.
Sehun stuttered. "Uh Kai–ssi, we are getting late now so—
"Jongin, we're back!."
