"Mr. Han, do you want to take my car instead?" Zheng Tianming asked.
Han Zhuoli's car had been driven away by Xiao Chen. Thankfully, Zheng Tianming had also driven his own car over too.
Han Zhuoli nodded and stepped across Bai Shuangshuang. Without even sparing her a glance, he got into Zheng Tianming's car.
After boarding the car, Han Zhuoli pinched the bridge of the nose. He finally felt a little tipsy and rested his head on the headrest of the seat, closing his eyes to take a rest.
Zheng Tianming dropped Han Zhuoli at Lu Man's building. Han Zhuoli alighted from the car and let Zheng Tianming head back first before climbing the stairs engulfed in darkness to Lu Man's apartment.
He then took out his phone and gave Lu Man a phone call. Xia Qingwei was already asleep, while Lu Man was in her own bedroom, and was just about to call and ask Han Zhuoli whether he was done with his work when she happened to receive a call from Han Zhuoli.
She quickly picked up the phone and asked softly, "You're done with work?"
Hearing Lu Man's soft voice, he instantly felt happy. All his disgust and frustration due to Bai Shuangshuang dissipated with her voice.
Right now, he was standing right outside the door of Lu Man's apartment. His voice slightly husky and rough as he said, "I'm at the doorstep of your apartment."
Lu Man was dumbfounded. "What did you say?"
Just as she spoke, she had already started walking towards the door.
Even if she might have heard wrongly, she still couldn't resist walking towards the door.
Han Zhuoli's husky and light laughter came through the phone. He repeated softly and lowly once more, "I'm at the doorstep of your apartment. Open the door, you silly girl."

Immediately, she saw Han Zhuoli holding onto his phone standing right before her. "Why are you here?"
Surprised, Lu Man asked, "You're done with your business gathering, right? Why didn't you hurry back home to rest first and come here instead? It's already so late."
Lu Man always felt heartache watching him rushing about from place to place.
"I didn't drive here, Zheng Tianming who drove me here. Take me in for tonight," Han Zhuoli's voice was low and husky as he quietly pulled Lu Man's hand.
In this dark night, his voice was a little lower and softer, as if he was trying to act cute in front of her.
Usually, this guy wasn't so coy, always acting arrogant and cold, sometimes even shameless before, but she had never seen him act cute before.
However, hearing his cute and playful tone, Lu Man even heard a tinge of sadness accompanying it, as if he had suffered.
"Come in quickly." It was too cold outside, so without any hesitation, Lu Man instantly pulled him in.
"What exactly happened?" She still felt that Han Zhuoli's reaction was rather out of the ordinary.

Han Zhuoli suddenly strode forward and pulled Lu Man into her bedroom. His strong and dominating nature could barely wait and wanted to tear her apart and devour her immediately.
Lu Man hurriedly pulled onto Han Zhuoli's elbow. "What exactly happened?"
Closing the door, Han Zhuoli's plan was spoiled by Lu Man's words. He sighed, feeling resigned.
