"I didn't mean to get so angry father" I whisper as I shrink further into my seat looking anywhere but him.
"Hunny, it's not your fault" my dad smiles taking my hand in his "I mean it's not like you yelled it to the world or anything" he snickers only to be smacked across the head by my mother.
"What your father is trying to say," she says while glaring at my father who looks anywhere but her "Is that it's not okay to use the power you have against others, sweetie, I get it you were mad because one of your squad members were hurt and hurt badly being the youngest and all but you need to really think before you do, okay" she smiles taking my face in her hands pressing our foreheads together "But like it's still badass that you went all hulk" Mother smirks winking at me making my father, brother and I laugh.
"Just no more fights okay" My father smiles ruffling my hair making me pout.
"So Santino, Monte, Vitale, my boys," our father says leaning back in his chair.
"Oh, boy" is heard for the three boys who sit next to me making me giggle.
"How was my baby girls right hook," Father asks suddenly leaning forward and looking excited only to be slapped across the head again by mom "What, I need to know geez women" He grumbles only to get slapped again making me and the boys laugh.
"Oh, you should have seen her," Monte starts telling father all about how I had wiped Mila's makeup clean off and moving onto how I demanded the boys to get the car.
"And then we speed to the Saint's high she looked so badass shutting the door when Santino wasn't even finished lecturing her about her actions and storming into the school like she owned the place" Vitale pitches in making me grumble.
"And then boom shit. Went. Down" Santino smirks patting my shoulder even though he was the one who tried to stop me from going in the first place.
"Well, I guess I won't need to pitch guards outside the school now do I" My father grumbles with a pout as my mother rubs his shoulder giving him an amused look while I stare in shock.
"You.....What" I all but scream making him and out mother laugh.
"He was only kidding Hunny" Mom smiles "Alright well we have a business meeting in twenty minutes so we need to go, we will be back at twelve or one in the morning so do not wait up" She glares at Vitale and Monte who are usually the ones who wait for them to come home so they know that their safe.
"Yes, we know" the matter making Santino and me snicker, Vitale and Monte were taken in by our family when their families were killed in a shipment pick up on the northside of our city, both Monte and Vitales fathers were there and got killed on the spot, while their mothers were killed in a plane crash on their way back home, so my parent's being their parent's best friends and basically god parent's to Vitale and Monte it only seemed right to take them in.
"Good, now we'll see you all tomorrow before school" Mom smiles kissing our head before dragging our father away who grumbles and protests about going.
"Alright so who wants to watch a movie," Monte asks making us all shoot up and rush down the stairs and into the living room.
It's been an hour and we're watching our second movie, we're halfway through it when the doorbell rings "I'll get it" I grumble, standing up I push the blanket away from my feet before I slowly walk to the door.
Once I get to the door I dust of the crumble from my t-shirt before I open the door, looking up I scream before slamming the door.
The sound of feet pounding the ground is heard from behind me making me spin around and press my back against the door, staring at my brothers who look back at me with their eyes wide.
"C-Constantino, Dimitrio, and A-Angelo are all outside this d-door" I whisper to my brothers who all frown before walking away grumbling to let them in.
Frowning I turn back to the door and slowly open it before peeking outside, I open the door wider and am immediately getting a face full of roses.
Giggling I push them away before looking at Dimitrio who had a wide grin on his face he rushes over and picks me up making me embrace him just as tight "I missed you dork" he mumbles into my hair making me smile and pull away from him.
"Still waiting" I hear the voice of Constantino who frowns his arms wide open waiting for me to jump into them.
Rushing forward I wrap my arms tightly around his waist tightening my grip when he does, pulling away I smile up at him "How have you been, porkie" I smirk as he frowns at his nickname.
"I'm not even that chubby" he defends making me giggle anyway.
"The boys are in the living room," I say nodding my head in the direction, they both nod back before walking away to were I hear three loud groans that come from my brothers, giggling I turn around and see Angelo still outside looking towards the ground.
"You wanna, come inside" I mumble kicking nothing.
"Okay" he mumbles making me stare at him in confusion "I mean s-sure" he stutters making me nod and open the door wider.
He walks in and stands there awkwardly making me cough which catches his attention immediately.
"Come," I say offering a small smile nodding towards the stairs he nods his head before offering me to go first smiling I begin to walk up the stairs with him behind me.
"Don't close that bloody door Cicatrice" my brothers all shout together making me roll my eyes before shouting my reply.
We reach my double black mahogany doors making me push them open and allowing him to go first he offers me a soft smile before entering my room and looking around, slowly I enter the room and softly close the door behind me.
I make my way to my bed letting him look around, I scoot back more until my back is against the headboard of my bed watching him as he continues to look around more.
"Are you okay" he mumbles from his spot next to the door "I mean you seemed really mad the other day" He confirms making me look away from him as the images of him holding Nikky close to his body flashes through my mind.
"I'm good" I grunt out, standing up and moving to my window seat staring out to the street where little kids play.
"Scarlett, what's wrong," Angelo asks coming over and sitting in front of me.
"Nothing" I mumble looking back out to the street.
I feel Angelo grip my chin making me look up at him through teary eyes as the images just keep on flashing.
"Talk to me" He whispers out making me frown and pull away from him.
"How could you," I whisper making him look up in confusion "I mean I know we aren't dating or anything but it doesn't mean I don't like you Angelo, but how could you hold her like that while I was standing right there. How could you hold her like you had held me" I gasp for air as I talk tears streaming down my face freely.
Looking up at him I notice him staring at me in shock and disbelief "I just don't understand....a-am I t-that forgettable" I cry looking into his eyes to see sadness.
"No your not, and you have no idea how hard it was for me to just stand there while I watch you walk away from me after Monte gave me my FB ring back, but you have to understand that in front of our schools it will be different....people will expect us to hate each other and I don't need my school coming after you for making their QB and football captain fall in love with you Scarlett....I love you" He whispers turning my face to look at him fully.
"You can't love me!" I scream moving away from him "We haven't even known each other for more than a month, you can't" I mumble out traitorous tears streaming down my face making him rush towards me and cup my cheeks.
"It took me 8.2 seconds to fall in love with you when I first laid eyes on you at that party, I was so furious when Dimitrio had told me what had happened to me. You've no idea how much I wanted to rip that guys head clean off his shoulders, but when I saw those dried up tears on your face it broke me and I knew I couldn't leave your side" He whispers pressing a kiss to my left cheek before copying the move on my right cheek to my forehead and then the corner of my lips.
Looking up at him I smile standing on my tiptoes and slowly lifting myself towards him, my breathing comes out unsteady as does his, raising myself higher our lips meet right in the middle.
The kiss is slow and passionate, but my door is suddenly thrown open making me squeak and back away from Angelo who groans in annoyance before we look to the door to see all five boys standing there, Dimitri and Constantino laughing making smoochie faces while my brothers glare at Angelo who seems to pale before giving me a slight peck to the lips he races out to pull his two laughing friends with him before my brothers start to chase them around the house.
Smiling I look out my window to see them all yelling and chasing each other like normal teenagers wouldn't do which only causes my smile to widen.
