Eleanor’s POV
“I had a great time shopping today El!” Tori says with a big smile on her face.
“Me too! I’m glad we could go. Oh I almost forgot to tell you. In about an hour we are meeting Louis and the rest of the boys at a fancy restaurant.” I announce as we walk into my house.
“Oh sounds fun. But is Harry going? I don’t think I want to go if he’s going. That would be so awkward, you know?” she says nervously.
“Um yea I don’t think we invited him.” I lie.
“Okay good! I’ll go and get ready. I’ll be back down in about thirty minutes so we can go!” she replies running upstairs and smiling.
I quickly grab my phone and text Louis.
El: Hey Lou, I was just making sure you have everything set up for tonight?”
Lou: Hey El, yes everything is set up. All of the boys are coming, including Harry.
El: Okay great! I hope this works.
Lou: Me too! You didn’t tell her Harry was coming right?
El: No of course not love!
Lou: Okay just making sure. I’m not telling Harry anything. He doesn’t even know your going.
El: Ha ha okay good! Well got to go! Love you.
Lou: Love you too hun.
*45 Minutes Later*
“You ready girl?” I shout to Tori up the stairs.
“Yea sorry I’m running late. I’m ready.” She replies running down the stairs to me.
“Great lets go!” I respond grabbing my keys and running towards the door.”
“I’m really excited that Louis invited us to this!” she exclaims as I’m driving.
“Yea me too!” I smile nervously. I wonder how tonight will turn out. Hopefully Harry will want her back when he sees her and vise versa. She looks beautiful.
Louis’s POV
“We’re here Harry.” I say breaking the silence of the car ride.
“Okay good because I’m hungry.” He replies with a little smirk. “Hey Lou, I just wanted to say I’m sorry for my attitude yesterday. I was just really overwhelmed about the whole situation with Victoria.”
“Look bud, it’s fine! I completely understand! Shall we go in now?” I ask.
“Yes of course!” he states laughing.
We’re late of course. I hope Eleanor and Victoria are already here. I hope this goes well. Would if it doesn’t? Would if they have this major fight in the middle of dinner? That would be so awkward for all of us. We walk in the restaurant. The waiter takes us to our reserved room. I walk in and see Niall, Liam, and Zayn already seated at the table talking about who knows what. I sit next to Niall and Harry sits next to Zayn who is across the table. Liam is on the other side of Niall. We chat awhile about the band then I see Eleanor and Tori walk into the room. Victoria looks at Eleanor with a confused expression on her face when she sees Harry. El sits by me and Victoria sits by Eleanor right across from Harry. He’s going to kill me.
“Hey guys!” El says putting her purse behind her chair.
“Hey El!” They all respond except Harry. He’s just looking at the floor.
Tori’s not saying anything. She looks as if she could cry again. Shoot. This is a bad idea. She’s going to start crying any minute. Harry is giving me the death stare. He is really mad.
“Hey Tori!” I say trying to get her mind off of things.
“Um I’ll be right back.” She says ignoring me and taking El’s hand. They both leave the table and head to the ladies restroom.
“Why the heck did you invite her?” Harry shouts across the table as soon as they were out of sight.
“Well I thought it’d be nice having my girlfriend with me, and Victoria is a friend of ours who happens to live with Eleanor. I can’t just invite El and not her! I shout back.
“Guys calm down.” Liam says standing up and pushing me back to my seat.
“Sorry about that Liam.” I respond.
“Yea sorry Liam, and sorry Louis. I guess I’m overreacting. Just don’t make me talk to her okay?”
“Okay fine.” I say smiling.
Victoria’s POV
“Why is Harry here? Did you lie to me to make me come?” I scream at El feeling hot tears fall down my face.
“I’m sorry Tori. I did that for your own good. I really want you both back together.” She replies rubbing my arm.
“I’m not ready to get back together with him.” I say decidedly.
“Okay, maybe I rushed it.” El mumbles. “Lets get you fixed up.”
“Please don’t make me talk to him!” I exclaim walking out of the restroom.
“I won’t.”
I can’t believe this is happening. I’m at dinner with my ex-boyfriend. This is a disaster. I sit back down in my chair. I look down at my hands. I really want to go back to my home in America. I’m staying for Eleanor though. Nobody else is holding me back.
“So what’d you do today Tori?” Niall asks interrupting my thoughts.
“Oh um just went shopping with El.” I reply. Niall honestly looks adorable tonight.
“Fun!” he shouted.
“What’d you do?” I ask trying to keep the conversation going.
“Nothing.”
“Yes you did Niall! You ate the whole pantry!” Zayn exclaims. I laugh hysterically.
“Oh Niall, all you do is eat. Your so cute!” I say still laughing. I then notice Harry rolling his eyes at my comment.
“What’s your problem?” I ask regretting that I asked.
“Nothing don’t talk to me.” He responds rudely.
“I deleted your number and I hope you did the same.” I yell feeling my face burn. Ugh, why am I talking to him?
“Good I’m glad you did. You don’t deserve me anyway.” He shouts back standing up.
“You didn’t answer my question.”
“Why do you care anyways? Louis I’m leaving.” He roars pushing his chair away giving me a scary look.
“Me too. Goodbye.” I say running out the room trying to hold my tears back.
“Tori! Tori! Victoria! Victoria!” I hear screams behind me. I ignore them and keep on walking. It’s pitch black outside and I have know idea where I’m going. I’ve only been in London two weeks. I still don’t know my way around town. I sit down on a bench outside of the restaurant. What the heck just happened? Why do they want us back together so badly? Thousands of thoughts are going through my head right now. The biggest question is, did Harry delete my number or not? El, Louis, and Niall come running over to me. Niall bends down so I’m looking into his beautiful blue eyes.
“Tori, it’s okay. Please don’t cry love!” Niall says searching my eyes.
“Oh Niall I can’t stop! I’m hurting so bad. I don’t think he hurts at all!” I exclaim sobbing and sobbing. Niall pulls me into a tight hug and I continue to cry in his arms.
“I know, it’s okay. I’m sure he feels the same as you right now. He probably doesn’t want you seeing him cry.”
“I guess so.” I say choking on my tears.
“If you ever need comfort just come to one of us.” Niall reassures me and hugs me tighter.
“Thanks Niall, you’re the best!” I say managing to put on a smile.
“Hey what about us?” Eleanor and Louis both shout together making me laugh.
“You two are the best too.” I say still laughing as I watch them high five each other. They are so cute together.
Niall and I let go each other. I smile at him through my tears. He smiles back wiping them away from my face. He stoops down and plants a soft kiss on my cheek.
"Let’s get you back to our place Victoria.” Eleanor states as she gives me a hug.
“Okay. Bye Niall.” I smile at him.
“Bye Tori.”
Wow, Niall is so sweet. Why haven’t I realized that before? He’s so compassionate. I’m so glad he’s my friend. He really made me feel better. Especially when he placed that kiss on my cheek.
“I’m going to bed. Night El.” I say sweetly heading up to my room.
“Alright, me too. Night! Sweet dreams. Oh and I’m sorry I lied to you about tonight. I’m sorry it went so bad too.” She apologizes running up to me giving me a tight hug.
“It’s okay. I forgive you!” I reply hugging her back tighter. “Why do you think Harry didn’t answer my question tonight?”
“About whether he deleted your phone number or not?”
“Yea.”
“I’m not really sure. I am wondering about that too. I’ll talk to Louis about it and maybe he can ask him.”
“No please don’t. It’s no big deal.”
“Okay, if you say so!” she says smiling. “Night.”
