I've always been fascinated
with the idea of love
maybe that was the
immatune teenager
inside me who
wanted to taste
atleast a sip of it,
consequences, unbothered.
The novels I'd read
The movies I'd seen
everything pointed towards
It's something green,
The poets would describe
love as harsh downpour
that is here to
engulf you whole.
While growing up
It just came to me
like a gentle drizzle
that is here to soak,
like a magical spell
that is here to illuminate,
like a gentle breeze
enough for my heart to shake.
The countless perceptions
and experiences
are the reasons for
Its varied definitions,
Some felt the warmth
while others were burnt,
Some embraced the downfall
while others prefered cautions.
For me, it's like the
Irresistable idea
dancing in the
parched lanes of my heart,
The illusion that's
devoid of an existence
waiting for either
a name or a face.
For me, It's still
The nameless
Concept.
For me, It's still
The territory
Uncharted.
For me it's still
The destiny
Untouched.
For me it's still
the innocent
Love.
