Young boy 9/15/19
My imagination wild
first time in awhile
ideas going fast across
my mind
like credits after a movie
One idea stood out
kept replaying in my head
like trying to tell me something
A young boy
heading to the stars
on his simple airplane
powered by his positivity
through the awesome clouds
he flew
to where the stars sit
becoming one with them
watching humans down below
an angel perhaps he is
A smile spread on my face
happy for the boy yet
knowing he'll go far
Dreams he was in my head
telling me to do the same
to which I did
happy I received the message
and that I am here
Thank you imagination
and young boy
I was going to use this for the BCE contest but looking at I decided against it and wrote a new one.
