"Nee, Sabito let's stroll" I requested when we reached Urokodaki-san's little house.
It's our free time or our vacation. Sabito, Makomo, Giyuu, Tanjiro and I decided to visit Urokodaki-san since he does not have anyone to be with. Afterall he took as all when we were abandoned.
"Hello!! Urokodaki-san??" Tanjiro called then Giyuu opened the door of Urokodaki-san's revealing no person was inside. We didn't wait any second and entered his house.
"Woii! Sabito??" I called as I poke his haori to notice me, but I failed.
"Makomo!! You can still see me right?! I'm not invisible.. am I?" I went to Makomo to check my existence if I'm living or not. Waving my hand infront of her face.
"Yes I can see you (y/n)-chan" she chuckled
"Then why Sabito acting like I wasn't" I crossed my arms and pouted
Actually, Sabito and I were like bestfriends ever since we were the pupils of Urokodaki-san. When Giyuu was not like that today, he usually teases us since we were always together whenever we go.
Unfortunately we aren't like that anymore. Things changed. Everybody got busy and has their own lives so we don't have that time to bond. And when Okayata-sama gave us a vacation, we took this chance to be reunited with our master Urokodaki-san.
"You seem fine to me (y/n)-san. " Tanjiro said and he let down of his sibling Nezuko to a corner. "Maybe Sabito doesn't want to talk" he added
I got silent for a minute and felt the atmosphere.
"Mmm.. maybe you're right" I dropped my luggage and did some stretches
"Well then, I'm going to stroll by myself " after that I went out and climb a tree which Sabito and I usually climbed it when we were little. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the breeze of the cold air.
"(Y/n)!!" Someone called on the ground. I didn't bother to look of who it is so I continued of what I'm doing. A few minutes later, I felt the tree shaked a little so I openened my eyes only to see a familiar fox mask.
"W-Wha! You scared me, geez" I was shocked and I thought I was going to fall.
"Now you've notice me" he said still wearing his mask
"Harhar, I just did what you've did to me.. Sabito" I lift his mask up revealing his beautiful face even though he has a scar.
"You really took it seriously this time, huh? He sat on a branch above me and removed his mask.
I didn't answered, it was full of silence. In a couple of minutes Sabito began to move. He stand up and moved to where I'm sitting on which causes the branch to move.
"Woi! Careful would you?" I said but he just gave me a smile.
"(Y/n)! Let's stroll?" He asked. I looked at him first then looked away
"Wow, you just really think that I would accept that?" I sarcastically replied
"So... you don't wanna–"
"Kidding! Come on let's go?" I said and went down, followed by him.
"(Y/n)-chan, Sabito what do you want for lunch?" Makomo suddenly appeared beside me. And that wasn't suprising since she does this all the time
"Ah sorry, (y/n) and I going for a walk" Sabito replied and grabbed my hand dragging me
"Wait! Makomo just some grilled squid for me!" I yelled and after that we went down the mountain.
We reached the village, and it seems to have a festival there. The people were decorating their homes, having lanterns all over the place. They also has stalls that filled with foods or with prizes.
I was going to put my hand in my pocket but I felt someone's hand.
"Uh Sabito? Your hand" I called and he looked at it first before he let it go
"A-Ah! Sorry.. my bad" he said and put his hand on his nape rubbing it.
"How about we eat first ? I'm hungry" I requested as I pointed out a restaurant that seems to serve some delicious food. Sabito nodded in response and we headed inside
We ordered some soup and seafoods then we ate.
"Ne, what do you think about Makomo?" I started since it was deafening silence. He gulped his soup and wiped his mouth before he replied
"Hmm... a good friend?"
"Well anyone is your good friend but what do you think is special to her?" I asked once again
"She's kind-hearted girl that she even taught Tanjiro so that he could slice the boulder " he finished his food and clasped his hands and thanked for the food
"That's it? "
He nodded
"Wait, is there something wrong?" He asked and look at me and I avoided his gaze and just focused on my food
"Nothing! Nothing at all" I let out a laughter and continued eating
Even I and Sabito were like bestfriends, there is something special between Makomo and him that he doesn't realize. So today, I want to make him realize that he likes Makomo.. well even it hurts.
I clasped my hands and thanked for the food, after that we walked out and walked through the streets. The noise got louder so we went to that place and saw a fight. A sword fight but the swords that they used were just wooden, so it's not going to slice your head off.
"AND THE WINNER IS ASTA!" The emcee announced as he raised a red flag and also raised the winner's arm.
"YOSHAA!" The winner yelled then he got his prize which is foods.
A brilliant idea popped in my head.
"Ne, Sabito~" I called and he looked at me. "Let's play! And whoever lose will do the winner's one request. Are you on?" I pointed out at the arena and smirked. He looked at me and think for a moment.
"Sure! Deal" he smiled and we shaked hands as we entered the arena.
"Oho~ look what we have here! " the emcee said "you must be a couple perhaps? Are you on a sort of quarreling ?"
"Wha– NO!" I denied "geez, why do you think of that" I murmured then grab one of those wooden sword and position myself into my fighting stance
"You ready ?" I yelled at Sabito who positioned himself to his stance
"Ready!" He said and we both a deep breath
"Ready? Go!"
I moved first by taking a dash forward to strike him first but he got good reflexes, so he blocked it and stepped back. I keep on taking forward while he was blocking all of my attacks. All of the sudden he striked back wiyh all of his force which causing me to keep my distance to him. When he was going to strike once again, I saw an opening then striked him
"And that was it!" The emcee announced that causes me to stop.
"And the winner is–" the emcee stopped
"Uh.. what's your name again ,miss?" He asked while the audience laughed.
"(Y/n)"
"Ah yes! The winner is (y/n)!" He announced and he raised my hand. The audience clapped and the others cheered while Sabito smiled and also clapped.
"As a token of your prize" the emcee lowered my hand and gave me a bunch of food "your foods, miss". I replied with a thank you and laughed while I'm walking away.
"That was a good warm up, right?" I asked to Sabito who's been silent all the time. He nodded in response.
"Go ahead, say your request" he said then I stopped on my tracks.
"Ah yes right!" I put my foods aside then think.
"I know!" An idea popped on my head "Confess to Makomo! "
"Sure" he said bluntly which I was shocked. He looked around and pointed out a pole.
"Makomo and Tanjiro, I know you're there" he called then the two of them went out from hiding. Wow, I didn't even realized that they were there.
"I assume that you heard all of it, right?" He asked then the both of them nodded.
"Good, now Makomo come here closer" he called once again and Makomo went to Sabito
"Makomo listen to me very clearly okay?" He said then he looked at me.
"Tanjiro, Makomo I like to say that I–" he paused then he went towards me and put his hands on my shoulder
"That I like (y/n) so much" he smiled. My brain processed for a moment before I totally understand the situation.
"Ha?!!" I replied "Wait-wait-wait! I-I said that you should confess to Makomo not me!"
"That's what I did, I confessed to Makomo and also Tanjiro that I like you" he stated.
I felt my face heated up and my heart starting to pound like it was going to rip out of my chest.
"I-I, uh..." before I got to say something I was cut off when Sabito kissed my forehead.
"Dummy, you don't have to say anything, just think that I like you"
