A/N: I hadn't been in a good mood for a while because of what's happening in Hong Kong right now and that's why I started to write again because thinking about Jerrie always makes me happier.
So here is a new one for you~
Jade stopped when she heard the faint mumbling again, and when she pressed her ear against the closed door, she wasn't surprised to figure out who was behind the door, even though she couldn't hear clearly what the words were, but there is no mistaking that cute sweet Geordie voice could only belong to Perrie.
The blonde had been acting secretive. It's definitely not the first time Jade caught her muttering to herself, sometimes staring at her phone with headphones on. It didn't seem like like a furtive act to her at first but when she asked Perrie about it, the blonde was quick to turn off the screen of her phone and emphasized it was nothing, but Jade knew Perrie long enough to know she was indeed, hiding something
Jade isn't one to pry into others' privacy because she understood everybody has something they would rather keep to themselves, herself included, but that doesn't mean she wasn't curious, and disappointed too, because the longer Perrie continued on this secret act means there is less time for the two to spend together and Jade definitely doesn't like it
She just loves having Perrie in her presence
On top of that, Perrie had also been a bit...odd, not only with the way she acted, but with the way she talked...especially with the choice of her words, and if Jade recalled it correctly, the change started last week...

It's a usual day when they had to wake up early for work, and when most tried to avoid dealing with a moody Perrie in the morning, Jade did the exact opposite and welcomed the blonde by engulfing her in a warm hug. It has become a ritual actually, ever since Perrie told her how her hug made everything better, and she could obviously see how the blonde's mood lifted after that and Jade was flattered, delighted even because not only she was able to make Perrie happy, but it also felt extremely good to have the blonde's soft body molded against her own.
Leigh and Jesy appreciated it too because according to them, Perrie is so much easier to be around after the hug, which Jade would never understand because Perrie is the sweetest and loveliest person she has ever met
The taller girl buried her face at the crook of her neck and nuzzled her nose against the tanned skin affectionately as she held the petite brunette just as tight, and soon let out a contented sigh before pulling away and greeted Jade with those sparkling blue eyes and pearly teeth, and if it weren't for her arms around the taller girl's neck and the porcelain arms around her waist securely, Jade was sure she had fallen to the ground already, because she was swooned, so swooned over the glamorous woman in front of her
As if it wasn't hard enough for Jade to remain conscious, Perrie has to make it more difficult
'Do you know you have the ability to take away my abhorrence of early morning, babe?"
She whispered sweetly in her hoarse morning voice and Jade could only gaze at her with widened eyes because it was just too much to take in at the same time.
The lovely baby blue was drowning her, the strong porcelain arms were holding her protectively, the hot raspy voice was sending heat to her lower abdomen, the sugary words were surprising and making her felt all these butterflies
"Um...i-it means you are the reason why I don't hate early morning anymore"
Perrie quickly explained, flusteredly and a bit awkwardly, and Jade immediately was pulled out of her shock state because Perrie was just too adorable
"I know, baby, I know what you meant and I am flattered"
Jade assured Perrie with a peck on her cheek and a toothy smile was brought on the blonde's face instantly, and she was rewarded with a peck on the tip of her nose. The two women were so engrossed with each other to acknowledge the playful eye rolls and knowingly smile from their audience
"I was just really surprised. I wasn't expecting you to say word soooooo..."
"Abstruse? Esoteric?"
Jade gasped as the astute words escaped from the blonde's lips. She always love how simple and goofy Perrie is because she is so damn cute it made her want to hug her and shower her with kisses but this...new Perrie, being all witty and wise, Jade had the urge to take away the cocky smirk on her face by smashing her lips on Perrie's heart-shaped one
Jade just wants to kiss Perrie
And she would've already done exactly that if it wasn't for the fear of possibly losing her best friend
So she settled on leaving a lingering kiss on the corner of the blonde's lips because it's the farthest she can do with her best friends without revealing her infatuation Obviously to her, Perrie is so much more than that, but she was not ready to cross the line.
Jade pulled away and pressed her forehead against Perrie, grinning when she spotted the crimson on the blonde's cheeks and the cocky smile had turned into an idiotic and nervous one
She loves the fact that she had that effect over Perrie, that she was able to make her nervous like the blonde did to her, she just wishes it's a good nervous that might be able to take their relationship a step forward, not a bad one that might scare Perrie away
"Where did you learn that from huh? I am pretty sure I haven't heard you talk so smart"
Jade batted her lashes teasingly, Perrie rolled her eyes playfully, feeling the nerve dissolved as she gazed into the brunette's calm chocolate eyes
"What can I say? I am full of surprises you know"
She grinned proudly and Jade couldn't help but poke a finger at the indentation on the blonde's left cheek when the dimple showed
"You really are, Perrie Edwards"

"You're done eavesdropping?"
Jade gasped when she heard the words whispered into her ears. With a hand clutching her chest trying to calm herself, she glanced sideways to see Jesy grinning at her with a devilish smirk that couldn't suit the devil herself more.
"What the hell Jesy?! You scared me!"
Jade scolded her in a low voice, not wanting Perrie to catch her sly act too.
"What are you doing outside Perrie's room?"
Jesy asked with a knowing smile as she had quite an idea why. She also noticed how Perrie act lately but unlike Jade, she had a good guess on what the blonde what's up to, which also explained why an inquisitive Jade was standing here, she just wanted to see how clueless her two bandmates really were, even more oblivious than Leigh Anne when it came to their own feelings.
Which it's kinda fun to watch:)
Not wanting Perrie to come out of her door and caught the both of them talking about her, Jade pulled Jesy into her bedroom
"I-I...um..do you think she was acting a bit weird lately?"
As they sat on the edge of her bed, instead of explaining her motive which might end up with her confessing her love for Perrie to Jesy, Jade changed the subject hopefully her older bandmate would let it slip, and to her surprise, she did
"Who? Perrie? That's why you are here trying to snoop what she's up to?"
Jesy queried, trying not to smile and feigh the curiosity on her face. Sometimes she thought she was too observant and clever for her own good she had to fake being bewilderment sometimes for others' sake, it's great that she is also an amazing actress too
"Yeah. Every time I caught her alone, she was looking at her phone with her headphones on and mumbling something. I thought she was listening to music but she would have put it on speaker and blaring it out. Also, she so focused she didn't realize I was walking past her or talking to her which seldom happen because she always know I was there before I even approached her which I do too it was like we have this sixth sense for each other but..."
Jade kept on rambling and Jesy was amused at first, hearing every little clue the small Geordie threw out, revealing how close she was paying attention to Perrie but as she continued to go on and on, she couldn't help but feel impatient and frustrated at how inattentive Jade was, who was supposed to be the most intelligent out of the four
Sometimes Jesy wondered if stupidity is contagious which would explain why Jade is so ignorant when it came to everything about Perrie
But there is no doubt in her mind that the two are perfect for each other
So Jesy decided it's time to be a matchmaker
Since Jade is here and she is definitely a better person to drop hints with compared to the idiotic Perrie Edwards
"Stop please...I got enough to know what you meant, Jade. You said she is like this since last week, you remembered what happened the day before that?"
"Um...We went to radio stations to promote our new song in the morning then we came back to chill for the rest of the day?"
Jade answered with a perplexed look on her face, she wasn't sure if any of this has anything to do with it
"Indeed we did. We chatted and ate and watched TV. You remembered that game show we were watching?"
"Of course I do! You and Leigh didn't want to watch and kept complaining about it though the whole show! I know it's totally not Perrie's kind of show either but she was the only one that had my back like she always does and gosh I love her so much!"
Jade's eyes widened and her cheeks turned crimson with the outburst confession, and Jesy smiled at her like a cheshire cat only made it worse
"I am sure she is gonna jump you and kiss the shit out of you if she heard you say that" Jesy wiggled her eyebrows
Jade blushed furiously, she knew Jesy was probably joking but she couldn't help but visioned it in her head
And the kiss was phenomenal
"Stop smiling like this, it's gross"
Jade groaned, shooting daggers at her bandmate for mocking her but mostly for ruining her daydream. She was tempted to get back at Jesy but then thought best not to as she still needs her help to find out what happened to Perrie
"So...what does the game show has to do with Perrie suddenly being all secretive and...wise"
"W-Wise?! Perrie...wise?!"
Jesy squealed and fell on the mattress, clutching her stomach and rolling around as she chortled uncontrollably. Jade groaned and rolled her eyes at her friend's antics, and it seems like hours for Jesy to compose herself and sat up to talk properly
"Actually I shouldn't be surprised. If there is anyone, you are the one that will be charmed by her wits...Love can blind you"
"I don't know what you are talking ab-"
"She loves you too"
"W-We are friends, o-of course s-she lo-"
"She also loves you in a way that she wants you to have her last name"
It will be an understatement to say Jade was stunned, she was absolutely astounded.
"W-What?! N-No! Don't joke about that Jesy...you don't know that..."
"Listen up Poppey"
Jesy waited until Jade looked up and met her gaze, and she cooed because Jade looked like a frightened and innocent child so it's hard not to have her motherly side came out
"I understand what you are insecure or afraid of, that you would possibly lose her if she doesn't feel the same, but trust me it will never happen. It's Perrie we are talking about, who loves you just as much if not even more, your Perrie"
"She isn't mine..."
Jade countered, but couldn't stop a dreamy smile from appearing when Jesy said it. It will be a dream come true for her to be Perrie's.
"Yet, because you two are cowards and idiots"
"Hey!"
'Honestly, everybody else but you two knew how much you love each other"
"That's not true..." Jade protested weakly
"Oh it's 100 percent true"
Jesy was saying the words with so much conviction that Jade decided to put her denial on hold for a second. Maybe she wasn't wise in her own affairs, she needed Jesy's view to see the bigger picture
"Y-You do think s-she..."
"Come on Jade! Perrie only says and does those sickeningly cute things to you and her face can light up the whole country when she sees you and you are asking me if she loves you?! She literally stares at you like you are the only thing that matters. If you two were on Love Island, you can freaking win the hundred grand that's how in love you are!"
Jade remembered that night they watched some episodes of 'Love Island' too and at some point, she wondered what would happen if she and Perrie met in the villa. She would definitely choose the blonde to couple up with and she would stick with her no matter what. However, as she continued to watch the show, Jade was relieved that it didn't actually happen because the others would definitely have drooled all over Perrie and did everything to try stealing the blonde from her and there were some silly games that would give others the chance to kiss or be with her Perrie and she would be so pissed that she might end up breaking the rule and eloped with Perrie
But hypothetically, all of that could only happen if Perrie was also in love with her
Jade blushed feverishly at the thought of it and she knew there was no reason for her to hide it because Jesy obviously knew her infatuation for Perrie and vice versa, if Perrie actually feels the same.
But then her rational and stubborn side came out and she shook her head to clear her thoughts. It's just Jesy's words afterall so she shouldn't be taking it like it's a fact. It's her observation and it might be wrong
"Hmm, I know that sceptical look all too well. You still aren't buying it."
"I...I can't just change my mind just because you told me that, Jes. It's Perrie's feeling you are talking about and you are not her so you can never be so sure. I don't want to get my hopes up then have my heart be shattered or worse, ruining my friendship with Perrie. She is too important to me I need to think it through seriously"
Jade expected her older bandmate to throw more of her perception to prove her point but she didn't, to her surprise, Jesy returned a satisfied smile.
"I understand, I know you and your own unique way of processing things. Now that you are open to the possibility of Perrie loving you back, I am sure you are going to figure it out on your own"
Giving Jade an encouraging pat on her shoulder, Jesy stood up and decided it's her time to go, but halted when the Geordie calling her again
"Wait Jes! You still haven't told me what the game show has anything to do with Perrie acting weird lately?!"
"What did I just said? Go figure out on your own you smart ass"
Jesy laughed as she left without looking back, leaving a bewildered brunette alone in her room
A deep sigh escaped from Jade's mouth as she fell on the soft mattress and stared up at the ceiling, allowing Jesy's words to sink in.
Perrie...loves me?
She let her mind wandered around the idea and she couldn't stop the big goofy smile on her face when she recalled some of the sweetest and cutest things Perrie did or said to her, or what Jesy would say, 'sickeningly cute things'.

They were at rehearsal and Jade was nervous. They will be performing for the first time after their break and she felt out of practice, no matter how many times the other girls told her she did great. She didn't feel like she was at her best and as a result, she was being a sceptical and uptight ass.
Sometimes she hates to be a perfectionist
"Relax, baby"
The calm voice soothed her as a warm body encompassing her and she pressed her body against it in her own nature, taking in the sweet vanilla scent that never failed to intoxicate her
Perrie smell like home and Jade was at ease
The blonde didn't speak another word as she held the petite brunette gently in her arms, leisurely swaying their tangled bodies from side to side like they were in a slow dance, which was exactly what Jade picturing as 'Perfect' started playing in her head.
Because it was perfect
And Perrie is perfect
The taller girl only broke the silence when the dance came to an end
"You are stupendous in every single way, Jadey"
And Jade felt nitwitted for thinking there is no way she could fall harder and deeper in love with Perrie

The girls were waiting backstage after being dressed up for their upcoming performance except for Perrie, who was still in the dressing room getting her hair a final touch by their stylist, Aaron.
"You look fine as hell, Lee Lee!"
Jade turned her head at Perrie's boisterous voice and saw the blonde made her way out of the room like a goddess she always is as she sent a wink at Leigh Anne, who rolled her eyes at her cheeky compliment and mumbled a 'You don't look so bad either'. The blonde's gaze then shifted to Jesy and Jade noticed her saucy grin widened
"You just set the room on fire, Jesminda"
She watched Perrie laid a playful smack on Jesy's butts, causing the older woman to laugh and returned the assault right away, the two were messing around for a round or two more before Perrie finally noticed her, and the mischievous grin dropped the instant blue eyes spotted her
Jade immediately felt apprehensive at her look. She looked down to check on her stage outfits, desperately and anxiously inspect what's wrong when her chin being lifted and she was drowned in the deep blue ocean
"And you are...pulchritudinous, baby"
There is no playfulness or exaggeration in her tone, just veracity.
And Jade felt like the most beautiful woman in the world

The girls were having a relaxing day after finishing their promo in the morning and were having a movie / TV marathon and Jade was in her favourite place
Perrie's arms
She jumped when Jesy suddenly shrieked, which she assumed the ghost had just made its appearance on the screen. With Perrie cradling her so tenderly and whispering sweet nothings to her ear so melodiously, her heart rate quickly steadied and she pressed a kiss on her jaw to thank her hero. The blonde looked down and flashed her a dazzling smile before looking back up and gave Jesy a hard glare
"Stop yelling Jes! You are scaring Jade!"
"Hey how can I not when that ghost just fucking pop up out of nowhere!"
"Then you shouldn't suggest watching a horror movie in the first place when you are such a wimp"
"Me screaming doesn't mean I hate it, and it would make a terrible horror movie if it doesn't scare people"
"Masochist"
Perrie mumbled in a low voice but Jade could hear it clearly due to their intimacy and she couldn't help but chortled as she continued to watch the two bantering and same as Leigh Anne, who was also paying close attention to Jade too. They all forgot the horror movie completely
"Hey, I heard you!"
Jesy groaned but then a smirk quickly appeared on her face, and Jade knew too well she was up to no good
"Perrie, care to explain why I got called a wimp and masochist when I was scared but Jade got patted and cuddled?"
Jade's ear pecked up at the question, her eyes were glued to Perrie's gorgeous face as she watched her attentively. She noticed the blonde was caught off guard as her blue eyes widened and her cheeks began to get pinkish
"B-Because..."
Blue eyes looked down to meet her caramel orbs nervously and out of instinct, Jade placed a hand on Perrie's cheek and caressed the porcelain cheek, while moving the other hand to reach for the blonde's hand and enveloped it with her own, rubbing the knuckles with her thumb, knowing it calmed the younger girl down.
Just as what the brunette expected, the nerve in Perrie's eyes was replaced with sparkles and the blonde answered Jesy's question with a lovable smile on her face as her gaze never tore away from Jade
"Because Jade is the most precious thing in the world and should be protected at all costs"
There might not be any deep words involved but it doesn't matter, as long as it came from Perrie's mouth
It's Perrie that matters
It doesn't matter what words Perrie used, they always strike a chord in Jade's heart

All these lovely memories with Perrie continued replaying in Jade's head and all of a sudden, the idea of Perrie loving her back wasn't so alien or preposterous to her.
It could actually happen
Or has it already just like Jesy said?
The epiphany hit Jade so hard that all she wanted to do was screaming at the top of her lungs but there was still a bit of control remained in her even though she was at a euphoric state so she grabbed a pillow to cover her face as she squealed in it.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
What she really wanted to scream out was:
She might actually love me backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
The brunette laughed hysterically when she was done screaming, rolling around on her bed like a mad woman
Jade felt like a teenager girl having her first crush all over again
Actually no
She felt way better than that
She was on cloud nine
When Jade finally able to (barely) contain her excitement, she buried her face in the pillow once again and let out a sigh
"Gosh, I am incurable!"
And Perrie is the cure
She just wishes Perrie would love to be her cure, only hers
"Why you have to be so perfect? How can I not fall in love with you?"
She mumbled to herself as she rolled to lay on the side, her gaze locked at the photo frame on the bedside table.
It's a photo of them having a group hug after winning 'British Artist Video' at the Brits for the first time
Jade remembered she was still in shock when Leigh Anne gave her the mic and she didn't think she could do it, so she held onto Perrie when she saw the blonde was right next to her and then she was fine and could speak properly.
When she was done and passed the mic back to Leigh Anne, she felt like she was exhausted but luckily Perrie was there and being in the blonde's arms made everything better.
She is always there for me

Now that Jade was no longer in denial, she needed to solve the next mystery.
The brunette's mind wandered back to that night and her lips stretched into an idiotic smile when she repeated the scene of Perrie looking into her eyes and saying she is the most precious thing in the world and should be protected at all costs in her mind over and over again
After playing for the twentieth time, Jade reluctantly let the memory go and moved forward.
They then watched two Disney movies and a romantic comedy picked by Leigh Anne, it was Jesy's turn to choose again and she insisted on watching 'IT' despite knowing that she has a phobia of clowns and Perrie was having none of it which led to another heated conversation between the two, and it only stopped when Jade assured the blonde it's okay because it's only fair to let Jesy made the call when it's her turn
Jade planned to have her face covered with a cushion the entire movie but the clown was talking so loud and the creepy sound was so intense and Perrie was eating so her arms weren't around her anymore, so when Jade heard a loud roar, she shrieked in fear and jumped off to hide behind the couch.
She couldn't take it anymore.
"I don't like it!"
Then she heard some clanging sounds and footsteps approaching, then a pair of strong arms wrapped around her torso protectively and she knew exactly what they belong to before she even spoke
"Let's go somewhere else, yeah?"
Nodding her head, she felt herself being lifted and she instinctively wrapped her legs around her hero's waist. Dropping the cushion to the floor, she was faced with the most beautiful blue orbs staring back at her concernedly and suddenly, she wanted to cry.
Not because of the fear
It's Perrie
It's always Perrie
Perrie made her want to cry with tears of gratefulness
And insane infatuation
Encircling her arms around the blonde's neck, she buried her face in the crook of her neck, not wanting Perrie to see her on the verge of tears as it will only worry her more. Jade didn't know where they were heading to but then she heard the door closing and her legs made contact with a soft surface when Perrie sat down with her still on her lap, she knew it's either her or the blonde's bedroom, and the strong vanilla scent implied it was the latter
Jade took her time to compose herself and restrained her tears as Perrie continued rubbing small circles on her back. They were in a comfortable silence until the brunette heard a rumbling sound. Jade smiled as it quickly followed by a groan from the younger girl, the smaller Geordie pulled away to cup the blonde's face
"You should go down to eat. I am okay"
Perrie shook her head and tightened her grip on Jade
"It can wait"
Jade pouted as she rubbed on the blonde's stomach
"But you are hungry"
"I am always hungry, and that's a fact that you can't deny"
Perrie sent her a cheeky wink and Jade couldn't help but giggled. She's right, and everybody knows it. The blonde grinned and took the brunette's hand that was on her stomach, interlocking their fingers
"I am not gonna leave you alone. You can't get rid of me, baby"
She raised their joint hands up to her lips and pressed a kiss on the back of Jade's hand, before giving her a mischievous smirk, and how Jade wished the blonde would stay with her until they were grey and old.
"Never?" Jade asked hopefully
"Never" And the blonde promised

Jade didn't realize she was screaming into her pillow again until she had to pull away for air.
It seems Jesy's words made more sense the more she thought about it and now she knew why the older girl called her idiot
Still, she can never be sure unless it's coming from Perrie's mouth
But now Jade definitely was more confident that the blonde might actually reciprocate her feeling
And she felt like breaking into Perrie's room and questioned her if she really loves her back
But she didn't because she hadn't completely lost her mind, thankfully, so shee closed her eyes and continued reliving that night.
Not sure about how long the time had passed, Leigh Anne went up to tell the two the movie ended and it was Jade's turn to pick what to watch, so Perrie carried the petite brunette downstairs even Jade insisted she could walk.
"Let me, my damsel in distress"
Jade stopped protesting because she almost fainted at the words and she wasn't certain she could walk anymore
Jade decided it's best not to watch another romance show when the blonde was making her feel all kinds of things. That's why she decided on a game show, so she can focus on making up the longest vocabulary with the provided letters, instead of daydreaming about Perrie
And it was working, because no matter how hard Jade was trying to rack her brain, the most she could recall was the content of the game show. She did remember Perrie holding her hand at the beginning of the show as she needed the other for eating, and then the blonde was hugging her from behind, praising her for each question she answered correctly and occasionally rewarding her with a kiss on her cheek, which made her feel like a winner at the game even though she wasn't really competing.
Still, she can't seem to connect the dots.
What does it have to do with Perrie's change? What had Jesy picked up on that she hadn't?
Maybe she need another onlooker's view
Since Jesy won't tell her so there is only one person she can ask, and she hoped she had the answer.
Jade stood up and left the room, knocking on the door that was just across her room.
"Jade? What's wrong?"
She didn't realize how late it might be until she saw her bandmate in her pajamas. Taking a quick glance at her phone and found out it was almost midnight, she wondered how long she had spent in her room fantasizing about Perrie
"Leigh Anne, I hope it's not too late...can I talk to you?"
"I was about to go to bed but it's alright, come in"
Jade walked in and sat on the edge of Leigh's bed, fiddling her fingers as she waited for her friend to join her.
"So, what do you want to talk about?"
Leigh asked as she sat next to Jade
"Do you know why Perrie was acting...different lately?"
"Different? How?"
"She was staring at her phone with headphones on and mumbling something, and when I asked her about it, she refused to tell me and acted like it's nothing. She also talk differently, she uses some esoteric words that she had never used before"
"Eso-te-ric?" What does it mean?" The older girl frowned
"It means deep and complicated, and it's actually one of the words Perrie used. Esoteric words meant words that aren't commonly used and can be hard to understand."
"Really? I didn't hear her saying any complicate words to me?"
"She has been using them quite often lately when she talks to me. Even though I know the words, but they are too difficult to most people so I wonder how she knew them from..."
"That's definitely off because there is no way Perrie knew words like that...she is supposed to be the idiot in the group"
"Hey, that's rude! Perrie is the sweetest and loveliest person I have ever met!"
"Of course you would say that"
Leigh Anne smirked, and Jade knew that she knew too.
Jesy was right, even someone as oblivious as Leigh Anne saw right through it.
But it didn't hurt to have one more witness to support Jesy's theory
"What do you mean?"
"Everybody knows Perrie loves yo-oh shit! I wasn't supposed to tell you! Fuck Jesy is going to kill me!"
"Why? She told me the same thing..."
"WHAT?! She told you that?!"
Leigh squealed and Jade immediately covered the dark haired girl's mouth because she didn't want to catch others' attention, especially a certain blonde
"Shhhhhhh"
Leigh Anne removed the brunette's hand and growled
"I can't believe Jesy told you! She told me not to be a matchmaker and just let you two figure out on your own and now she did just that!"
"I guess she got really frustrated on seeing me constantly in denial...you know she can't keep her mouth shut when she is annoyed" Jade sighed and shook her head
"That's true....wait! So you never once thought about maybe Perrie has feelings for you?! That's ridiculous! She is so obvious!"
"Of course I would love to think she loves me back but sometimes the line between friends and lovers is so blurry, I don't want to misinterpret it and risk ruining what we have...but then I decided to embrace the idea after what Jesy told me and I have spent hours reminiscing..."
Jade placed her hands on Leigh Anne's shoulder as she tried to steady herself, she felt light-headed at what she was about to say

"Not maybe, there is no doubt in my mind that she is in love with you, Jade"
Leigh Anne grinned and caught the smaller girl in her arms as Jade squealed and pulled her into a tight hug.
"Ah, I hope so! But unless I hear Perrie say that to me, I won't believe it completely. I..."
The brunette clung into her, rambling and occasionally screaming some nonsense and the blonde's name, and Leigh Anne let her, knowing it was her way to calm herself and it probably took some time.
Looking down, she spotted Jade's phone on the mattress and her lips spread into a smirk when she reached for the Geordie's phone. Turning Jade's phone on, it's no surprise to Leigh Anne that the lock screen is a picture of the brunette and Perrie.
And of course she needed a password to get into her phone but Leigh Anne was confidence with her guess

Clicking on the message icon, she immediately found Perrie's name at the top of the list and pressed on it. The dark haired woman knew it's wrong to go through her friend's message but she couldn't help herself as her fingers already scrolled through some of the most recent message.
The two were obviously flirting with each other. There were endearments and lots of hearts and kisses emojis going back and forth, and Jade was right, Perrie was using some deep shits words that Leigh Anne had never even seen before, but judging by Jade's reply, they were all compliments.
But then suddenly Jade became quiet and slowly pulled away, giving Leigh Anne just enough time to hide the phone behind her back without the petite girl caught up to it
"Thank you, Lee-Lee. I think I am okay now. I will go back to my room and let you sleep"
Leigh Anne tensed up when Jade started to look around and search for her phone
"I thought you will go to Perrie's? To find out if she does love you?"
Jade looked up and blushed, fiddling her fingers nervously
"But I am...scared. What if she...doesn't? And it's late, she is probably asleep now"
"She is a night owl and you know it. Besides, I don't think you can go to sleep without finding out the truth, you will stay up all night thinking about it"
"Yeah...I probably will. But I-I don't know how to...I can't just go knocking at her door and tell her I love her and then ask her if she loves me back...gosh that would be so awkward. I-I can't think properly right now"
"Let me help you"
Leigh Anne pulled out Jade's phone and started typing
"What are you doing? Why you have my phone with you? And how the hell can you unlock it? I set a password?!"
The shock took Jade 10 seconds to react and took her phone back, but Leigh Anne had already sent the text
To Perrie
Baby. I can't sleep:( Can I sleep with you tonight?
"Y-You..."
"I figure you will sleep better with her, it's not like you haven't done it before right?" Leigh Anne winked
"I-I...W-We didn't do anything other than cuddling!"
"Oh, I believe you, Jade. But after you two become a couple, you can sleep with her for real"
Leigh Anne wiggled her brows. Knowing the meaning behind those words, Jade blushed feverishly and tried to think of anything to get back at the older woman, but then she was distracted by a ring from her phone
She got a new message
Biting at her lips nervously, she clicked on the notification, unaware of her friend also leaning in to read the message
My poor princess:( You can sleep with me every night if you want😘 I love spooning my little Jadey❤
"Ewwwww...and you still question about if she loves you?! It can't get any possessive than this!"
"S-She didn't say she loves me...she said she loves spooning me"
Jade retorted, and Leigh Anne couldn't help but chuckle at how weak the usually voluble woman sounded
"Then go find her and get an 'I love you' from her!'
"What?! I-"
But Leigh Anne was having none of it as she pulled the smaller brunette up and dragged her to the door
"Don't go back until you get your girl, we are tired of your obliviousness"
Then the door was slammed
And Jade was dazed
She was being called obliviousness by who is supposed to be the most oblivious person in the world...
"What's with the noise?"
Upon hearing the angelic voice, Jade turned her head and there she was
The glorious Perrie Edwards
"Jade?"
Then she was sprinting towards her, and soon a pair of protective arms were wrapped around her waist while baby blue staring at her anxiously
"Are you okay? There's noise and you are here at Leigh Anne's room, did sh-"
The blonde was stunned when she felt Jade's lips pressed on a spot that was so dangerously close to her lips and their lips almost touch when the brunette spoke
"I am great, now that you are here"
Perrie shivered at the feeling of Jade's hot breathe on her face. As Jade pulled away slightly and gazed into her eyes, the brown orbs were glinting and they were even more beautiful than she could ever remember
"Are you sure you are not hurt, babe?"
Perrie looked worried, and Jade can't stand it so she smoothed the furrowed brows with her thumbs until they were not knitting anymore
"I am sure, baby"
She gave Perrie an assuring smile, and it's all it took for the blonde to relax as her lips broke into a smile.
"Let's go to your room, yeah?"
Perrie nodded, Jade was about to pull away but the blonde stopped her, she lifted her up and the petite girl wrapped her legs around her waist naturally.
"I really wasn't hurt, Pez"
Jade mumbled, encircling her arms around Perrie's neck when the blonde started to walk
"I know, Jadey, but you are still my damsel in distress"
Jade almost smashed their lips together
Almost
"Stay"
Jade pleaded and locked her arms around Perrie's neck when the blonde attempted to pull away after placing her down on the bed
"I am not going anywhere, baby. I am just going to turn off the light"
Perrie cooed and shifted her body slightly to get a more comfortable position as she hovered over the small brunette, blue eyes never tore away from the beautiful brown orbs as she tucked some loose strands behind her ear
"I don't want to go to sleep just yet...can we talk?"
Jade asked tentatively as she thought about what kind of conversation they were about to have. Sensing the nerve, Perrie leaned in to place a gentle kiss on the brunette's forehead.
"Of course we can, sweetheart"
Leaving another peck on the tip of Jade's nose, Perrie's hand grasped on the brunette's waist as she rolled them around so they were both lying sideways facing each other, only inches separating the two apart
"Is it comfortable to you?"
Perrie asked, one of her arms rested on the tiny space between their bodies while the other rubbing on the brunette's small back
"Very"
Jade beamed, taking the blonde's free hand and interlocked their fingers, the other hand playing with the Perrie's hair at the nape
"So...what's the confabulation about?"
Jade's ear perked up at the blonde's choice of word, which gave her just what she needed to start the conversation
Or confabulation, like Perrie said
"You have been talking real smart lately...why's that?"
Jade raised her brows curiously, and she knew she caught Perrie off guard because the blonde's eyes widened at her question
"W-What? I-I always talk smart"
Perrie laughed, but Jade knew the blonde too well to know it was nervous laughter
"Not like this...and I know you have been up to something"
"I don't kn-"
Jade growled and pressed a finger against the blonde's lips
"Don't tell me you don't know what I was talking about. I know you do"
Seeing the guilt in her favourite blue orbs, Jade frowned and removed her finger
"You just don't want to tell me..."
Jade pouted as she pulled out her best puppy eyes, knowing Perrie can never resist them and she can always get her way with that, and soon enough Perrie let out a sigh as she cupped the brunette face
"Jadey, baby...I just want to impress you"
Upon hearing Perrie's words, the pout immediately disappeared as she placed her hand on top of the blonde, rubbing the smooth porcelain skin
"You don't need to. You never fail to do so"
"But you are so intelligent and I...I am stupid"
It's Perrie's turn to pout and Jade wanted nothing more than to kiss the pout away
But she can't
Not yet, at least.
So she settled on a kiss on Perrie's cheek, mirroring the grin that was now on the blonde's face when she pulled away
"You are not stupid, love. Why would you think that?"
"You remember that game show we were watching that night? The one Leigh and Jesy complained non-stop about?"
So it really was about the show...
How the hell could Jesy know about that?
"I do. You were the only one that actually watched with me"
Jade beamed and rewarded the blonde with a kiss on the jaw, earning a toothy grin from the younger girl
She just couldn't stop kissing Perrie.
"I was, and I plan to watch with you whenever you want to, that's why I want to learn more words"
Spotting the perplexed look on Jade's face, Perrie chuckled and raised their joint hands to her lips, placing a kiss at the back of the brunette's hand before explaining
"When I watched the show with you that night, I tried to play too but I was so bad at it, I either can't come up with any vocabulary or can only think of one that was no longer than five letters...but you, you are a fucking genius! You can come up with words in split seconds and used all the letters...that's why I started to broaden my vocabulary"
"We don't have to watch it if you don't lik-"
"No, I want to. I can see how much you enjoy it and I will too if I am better at it. I don't hate the show, I just hate how bad I am, especially when you are so good at it"
"Competitive much huh?" Jade smirked, her tone was teasing
"Aren't we all? We were named 'Competitive Mix' by our fans for a reason" Perrie countered, rolling her eyes playfully
"That's very true. When did you learn all the words from?"
"Dictionary" Perrie shrugged like it's the obvious answer
"You read a fucking dictionary?! You never read!"
"Ouch! You almost made me deaf"
Perrie groaned and covered her ear with her hand.
"I am sorry, baby"
Jade took the blonde's hand in hers, leaning in to place a kiss on the blonde's earlobe, smirking when she felt Perrie shivered at the touch and watched red slowly creeping up to her whole ear
"It's alright. I do read, I just hate reading because I am bad at it, that's why I always ask you to read for me"
"You do, you lazy arse" Jade giggled as she recalled the several interviews when it happened
"But not this time! I bookmarked these dictionary websites on my phone and I have been learning how to use and pronounce words, I am very dedicated!"
"I know, baby, I know, I am very impressed and proud of you"
Jade cooed, the innocent and childish grin on Perrie's face was melting her heart.
That's why she was staring at her phone, wearing headphones and mumbling to herself
And why she knew so many obscure words
It all makes sense now
Jade pressed her forehead against the blonde's, staring into the ocean blue eyes that she loves so much
"But you don't need to do all that for me..." The brunette breathed out
"I want to" Blue eyes gazed at her unwaveringly as she held Jade's hands in her own
"I want to be good enough for you, you deserve the best, Jade"
"You are, Perrie, you are perfect just the way you are"
"But Jade I want to be perfect for you. I-I..."
Jade could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she desperately waiting for the blonde to continue, and she hoped those were the words she was dying to hear
"I-I..."
Perrie hesitated and her tone softened as time passed, the brunette saw the struggle in her eyes and she knew she had to do something to encourage the blonde before she backed off
Jade doesn't want Perrie to give up
She needs to hear the blonde says she loves her
Then they can be madly in love and have their happily ever after
Jade smiled and nudged her nose against Perrie's, hoping the blonde could see the pure love in her eyes while giving her an eskimo kiss
"You can tell me anything, baby"
She watched the indecision on Perrie's face slowly turned into determination before the blonde blurted out the three words
"I love you"
"I love you too"
Jade wasted no time to say it, she couldn't stop the huge grin on her face and the immense joy in her body
"No, Jade! I love you as a lover. I want you to be mine and I wanna kiss you and grow old with you"
"Yes, Perrie. I love you as a lover too. I want to marry you and have babies with you"
Jade immediately refuted and she couldn't help but giggled at the blonde's startled face, showering it with kisses as she waited for the words to sink in Perrie's head
"Y-You want to be my wife and have babies with me?"
Jade pulled away upon hearing the blonde's query. Looking straightly into Perrie's eyes, she reciprocated the intense affection harboured in those blue orbs
"I do, babe, I love you and I want a life with you...but only if that's what you want?"
"Oh that's exactly what I want! You are exactly what I want!"
Then Jade felt a pair of soft lips against her own as Perrie closed the gap and claimed her lips. She had imagined this million times in her head but none of them felt even close to how she was feeling right now.
She was in seventh heaven
There is no doubt that Perrie is an extraordinary kisser and now the brunette got a taste of her intoxicating lips, she didn't think she would ever want to be kissed by someone else
Someone that isn't Perrie Edwards
"I love you"
Jade mumbled when they reluctantly broke the kiss for air, and she couldn't help herself but leaned in to peck on Perrie's lips when she saw the goofy smile on the blonde's face
"I love you too, so so much"
And Perrie was kissing her again, and Jade wanted her to never stop.
But unfortunately they are humans, and humans need oxygen to survive
"So...I actually don't need all those deep words to woo you?"
Perrie asked when she pulled away, raising a curious brow as she softly brushing the brunette's hair
"No, not at all. You have my heart a long time ago, baby" Jade laughed and pressed a kiss on the blonde's cheek
"Really?! So I don't need to read a dictionary as Jesy said?!"
"Jesy?"
"Yeah...I sorta told her I felt like a complete idiot after watching that game show with you and she told me to go read a fucking dictionary then, that's why I have been secretly learning words from dictionaries online"
No wonder how Jesy saw the correlation...it's her idea after all
"I have to say I find it extremely hot and charming when you talk smart to me"
"Really?!" Perrie's eyes lit up at the brunette's word
"Really, babe. You are a charmer" Jade giggled and pecked her lips
"So I should continue learning?"
Jade cupped the blonde's face, caressing her pale skin gently
"Only if you want to. I think it's always good to educate yourself but whether you do it or not, it doesn't change the fact that I am very much in love with you."
Perrie beamed and smashed her lips on Jade, giving her a passionate kiss before speaking again
"I will do it, but only if you will be my teacher and I get a kiss with every new word I learn"
The cheeky smirk on the blonde's face made Jade wanted to kill her and kiss her at the same time but she can't deny that she loves the idea. Not only Perrie will spend more time with her and the whole 'teacher and student' thing was turning her on
"Deal. But wouldn't it be fun if we set up some rules. If you are a good student, you get to decide what rewards you get but if you are naughty and break the rules, I get to punish you whenever I want...you still up for it, babe?"
Jade challenged but she didn't need to wait for Perrie's response as the darkened blue orbs already told her the answer
"I am, Miss Thirlwall"
If Jade thought she was aroused, wait until she started her private lessons with her lover
