As my brother ran up each stair into the horror house I could hear each old stair creek and moan .
"come on Ryan you have to come in with me this time " yelled my little brother from the top stairs now on the porch .
"I'm gunna wait here with mom" I slowly said quietly with my head down.
" Don't be a chicken Ryan it's not even that scary " he yelled out again .
I looked at my mom with a unsure face as she ate some of Kyle's brightly pink cotton candy on a bench in front of the house.
" Go join your brother I will be fine here " she said with a bright smile as usual .
As I looked back at the towards the horror house I could see Kyle waving me over at the top of the stairs .
Walking slowly up each stair my heart races faster and faster as I slowly saw the inside of the darkly light house just waiting for it to reach out and swallow me whole.
" Any day now " he yelled pulling me inside .
When I got into the first room of the house there was a wooden table in the center with a hanging chandelier swaying back and forth above it .
As we walked down a long red carpeted hallway i saw gigantic paintings of old creepy clowns and circus people .
"In here Ryan this is my favorite part " Kyle eagerly said running ahead in front of me .
" Wait up Kyle don't leave me !!! " "I'm gunna get lost in here " I quickly yelled out after him .
After a second or two I heard nothing. Nothing but the sound of a old clock beside me ticking to the beat of my hear .
Just like that I was left and lost inside this horror house all by myself ...
