hello lovely ppl!! this isn't an update even though i haven't released a chapter in MONTHS and for that i am sooo sorry :(
the it fandom has been super dry lately which made me lose motivation to write. it was to the point where i was debating on whether or not i should discontinue this book and "lemonade" as well. obviously i came to my senses and decided that i will 100% finish this and i might continue "lemonade".
it all honestly depends on whether i still have the energy to write bc i kind of forgot the whole plot of "lemonade" hehe. i wrote it all down in my notebook but it magically disappeared?? very weird i know.
ok i'm losing track. the point of this chapter is to ask my remaining readers an important question:
would you like me to rewrite this story?
as much as i love this book, it pains to see how awful my writing was back then. i was fresh out of middle school and thought that just because i won the literary award in grade 8, i was a certified author. i can't even read one chapter without cringing.
rewriting it will also give my current readers a chance to refresh their memory since i haven't updated in forever😅
in addition, i realized that because i made this into a social media ff, i found myself dragging the story. so if i do rewrite this, it will just be a simple ff — no manips, ig posts, or tweets,,, just plain old words that somehow make people feel things. it'll also be easier for me because then i don't need to make terrible edits or find pictures that'll match the storyline.
now that IT chapter 2 came out, it means new content so hopefully it'll give me inspiration to write. i'd like to think my writing style has improved too so i'm super excited if i do get the chance to revamp this book, and if you don't want me to rewrite it, that's okay. it's just the next upcoming chapters will have a different writing style.
i really want to finish this book, you guys. i put my heart and soul into this freaking fanfic and i just want to give you guys the best. please comment what i should do, it would greatly help!
