Dipper's POV
"A-a-a-aren't y-y-you t-t-the P-p-prince o-o-of... " I stopped my sentence midway because I had ran out of confidence. 'What. The. Hell. The PRINCE of Reverse Falls was standing right in front of me. Wait...what was he doing here?'
Right now I was on the ground, shaking from shock and fear while trying to think of a way to escape from here without damaging my swollen feet.
My thoughts were interrupted when I sensed a pair of hands coming closer to me. I was mentally panicking (yes, I know it don't make sense) as they reached for me, probably to strangle me.

'Well, I've never really had a reason to live, so I might as well let it happen.' All the hope had left my thoughts and was replaced with negativity. The hands were getting closer and closer. I felt them land lightly on my shoulders, as if it was in a caring way.
"You don't have to be afraid, little one, " he said as he moved my shoulders to face him, "I'm not going to hurt you. " His voice was laced with gentle and softness as he spoke. "B-but I t-talked to y-you" I studdered.
The prince replied with a soft chuckle and said, "Now, why would I do that just because you talked to me? " 'WHAT?! He's not gonna kill me?! ' I stared at him searching for any signs of lying only to find none. His facial expression then changed as he held out his hand.
"Oh how rude of me! Here let me help you up." he said. I hesitantly took his only to fall back on the floor in pain. I hissed in pain as my swollen feet throbbed. I believe that the prince noticed because he then squatted down to see the condition of my feet.
"Dear Lord! What happened to you, my child! " he said sounding worried. "I-I don't want to talk about i-it" I answered. "It's fine you don't have to, but I won't leave you in this state, " the prince said while snapping his fingers. In just one second, Dipper's feet were wrapped and he was able to walk on them.
"H-how d-d-did you d-do th-th-that? " I asked. 'WHY DO I KEEP STUDDERING! UGH! ' The prince chuckled lightly and said, "First, my name is William Genus Rehpic not you, but you shall call me Will. Second, don't you know that the Trinity Kingdom's Princes are all dreams demons? "
'A DEMON?!'. 'There's no way, there's no way f*cking way. Demons EXIST?! Wait,then I'm standing in front of a demon with powers that could k-...' I looked up at the sky to see the sun setting. "I HAVE TO GET HOME! " I yelled out of nowhere. Will looked at me confused and then asked, "Shall I take you there? " "Nonononono y-you shouldn't t-take me b-because y-your a P-p-prince and a-a demon." I still can't get over the fact that he is a demon.
I mean who could?
"It's fine, little one. I already told you that I won't hurt you and it won't take a minute, " he spoke assuredly. 'What's up with all these nicknames? I'm not little at all! Mabye, it's his way of downgrading humans?' "Okay" I said without studdering. Will then snapped his fingers and we appeared right in front of the Mystery Shack/ My House. Will's eyes widen once he saw the broken mansion. He quickly turned to me and asked, "What's your full name, sweetheart? " I answered saying
"Mason "Dipper" Pines. Please call me Dipper. " I saw him gasp at news and then he was gone with the snap of his fingers.
It took about 1.5 seconds before reality slapped me on my face. 'I DIDN'T LOCK THE DOOR BEFORE RUNNING OFF!! ' I opened the creaky door to find the shack in a mess. The shelves were knocked over, the souvenirs were broken and littered all over the ground. Glass shards decorated the wooden floor, and the cash register was left open and empty. Overall, the place was trashed terribly.
I stared at the robbed and destroyed shack in awe. In the corner of my eye, I spotted my notebook, so I hurried over to it to pick it up. It wasn't really damaged, so I let out a sigh of relief. "How am I going to clean this up before they get home?! " I softly yelled. "Yeah, I wonder how? " said a voice coming from another room. I froze in place as I heard two pairs of footsteps coming closer.
I knew who they were, instantly.
Gruncle Stan and Gruncle Ford were standing right behind me staring me down. I gulped in fear, not knowing what will happen next. "Dipper, where were you? " Stan asked firmly. I looked at him to see if I really have to answer that. I did. "T-the forest, " I said.
"Why were you there? " Ford asked straightforwardly. "I-I... " You know what? That doesn't matter! Long story short, YOU weren't here and YOU didn't lock the door. So, STRANGERS invited themselves to the shack and NOW LOOK AT IT! IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS ABANDONED FOR YEARS! THE MONEY IS GONE, THE ANTIQUES ARE SHATTERED, AND THE PLACE IS IN RUINS! THIS IS ALL BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T DO WHAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DO!!! " Gruncle Stan let all of his anger release when he was yelling at me.
"I'm almost e-eighteen, you know! I snapped back. Gruncle Stan was getting ready to yell at me again when Ford stepped in. " That's great, Dipper! So, once you become 18 you could start working somewhere for money to help pay off mess you made." Ford said calmly with a hint anger in his voice.
I was speechless. I sensed tears making their way to my eyes. I quickly ran to the basement.
' Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. '
Impossible.
I felt hot tears stinging my brown orbs. Walking to my special corner in the basement, after I slammed the door, I cried like my life depended on it. I thought I was silently crying, but I was wrong once I heard the door open. Standing there was a sorrow-looking Mabel. She already knew what to do. She quickly walked over to me, sat next to me, and hugged me. She whispered assuring and sweet words into my ears while rubbing my back in small circles.
My crying stopped and I broke from her strong embrace. I reached for my journal I threw on the ground and opened it. I instantly started crying again, as I read the note left in it.
'Dear Dippy
Hoped you like my redecoration of the shack! Next time it might be s̶o̶m̶e̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ,no, someone.

Mabel embraced me again as we both fell onto the floor. I quickly stopped crying and asked Mabel to help me upstairs. She did. She carried me on her back to my room and lied me down on my hard mattress. After telling me good night, she left my room, turned the lights, and closed my door.
She left me in the darkness of my room with only a tiny amount of moonlight. I sighed knowing that I wasn't going to go to sleep in a couple of hours. If I did, then I would have THAT dream again.
The dream with the golden-haired boy.
The dream with my hero.
