Izuku was running through the streets as he heard explosions coming from the shopping district with a sea of fire covering the entire block.
Smoke billowed into the sky, as the people were screaming in fear. The pro-hero Backdraft is trying to control the crowd while putting out the fire using his Hydrokinesis quirk.
Izuku witnessed the gruesome sight of a black silhouette standing in a ring of fire. The cops were debating on whether or not they should act while pointing their guns.
Izuku tapped a nearby pedestrian in the shoulder.
Izuku: Excuse me, sir. But what's going on?
The civilian didn't even so much as look at Izuku when he answered.
???: A villain appeared out of nowhere and took a kid hostage!! Now he's using the kid's quirk to destroy the area.
Izuku: (thought) I got to take a closer look.
Izuku managed to squeeze in between the crowd, as he reached the front.
There he saw the pro hero: Death Arms clashing his fists together as he ran at the black silhouette which Izuku assumed was the villain.
Death Arms threw a solid punch at the villain's gut, but the villain took the hit like it was nothing.
???: Is that the best you can do?
Izuku recognized the voice immediately it was the sludge villain he captured earlier!! How did he escape?!!
Sludge Villain: Do that again, and I'll snap this boy's neck like a pencil.
Death Arms saw something wiggling inside the sludge, then noticed a silhouette of a boy with sandy hair struggling to break free from the villain.
The sludge villain let out a sick laugh that rang throughout the block.
Sludge Villain: With a quirk as powerful as yours, I can take down any pro-hero with one hit!!The sludge began to grow in size as the other pro-heroes, in the area looked at the villain with pure horror.
???: This guy is a legit supervillain!!
A woman in the crowd notices a blonde woman running towards the scene.
???: It's the new pro-hero: Mt. Lady!!
Mt. Lady noticed a problem as soon as she ran into view.
Mt.Lady: Oh no, a narrow street!! My only weakness!!
Death Arms clenched his teeth.
Death Arms: Damn it, none of us have the right quirk to handle a situation like this. All we can do now is wait for someone to come by and help us out!!
Death Arms looked at the sandy-haired kid who was still struggling to break free.
Death Arms: Don't worry kid, we'll get you out of there!!
Izuku: Damn it, are you telling me that these guys aren't going to do anything because they don't have the right quirk to handle this situation?
Izuku clenched his fist in anger: a hero is someone willing to overcome any boundaries to save the people who needed it, they are supposed to be there to help others that need it no matter the cost, and now these so-called 'heroes' aren't going to do anything because their quirks aren't suited for the environment?
Izuku glared at the villain with hate.
Izuku: (thought) Damn it. I want to help, but using my quirk in public is illegal. Unless -
A light bulb lit up inside Izuku's head.
Izuku: (thought) That's it!!
Izuku pushed himself to the back of the crowd as he ran a few blocks down into an alleyway.
Izuku: (thought) I hope this works.
Little did Izuku know, someone was watching him.
All Might: (thought) What is that kid doing?
Izuku channeled his optic blast energy throughout his body, producing a fiery red glow.
Izuku felt his quirk powering up his limbs as he crouched down on his knees and jumped to the top of the building.
Izuku jumped from roof to roof, landing on the same street where Mt. Lady went by.
Izuku then proceeded to run through the street in a red blur as he went past Mt. Lady's legs and into a nearby flaming building.
Izuku: Well, here goes nothing.
Izuku deactivated his optic blast quirk, as he strolled into the street, acting as though he had just woken up from a nap.
Izuku: (yawning) Huh, what's going on?

Death Arms noticed Izuku coming out of the building.
Death Arms: Hey kid watch, out!!
Izuku faked a surprised look.
Izuku: (fake screaming) Aahh!! A villain!!
The sludge villain notices Izuku.
Sludge Villain: YOU?!!
Izuku: (smirks evilly) Me.
Sludge Villain: Stay away from me, or the boy here gets it.
The sludge villain revealed his hostage to Izuku. Izuku's calm and bored expression contorted into, rage.
The hostage was none other than his former ashen blonde-haired friend turned bully, Katsuki Bakugou.
Izuku: Sludgy, sludgy, sludgy, when will you learn?
Izuku took a menacing step forward as he channeled his quirk throughout his body.
Izuku: There are two things you shouldn't do when you fight against someone like me.
Izuku's bloodlust paralyzed the villain, as he calmly walked towards him, ignoring all the cries and warnings from the pro heroes.
Izuku: One, never mess around with the people that I know.
Izuku yanked Bakugou out of the sludge villain and let him fall onto the ground unceremoniously.
Izuku: Two, never piss me off!!
Izuku landed a powerful punch that immediately disintegrated the sludge villain into a million pieces.
The punch was so powerful that it changed the weather.
The heroes and pedestrians were shocked at the overwhelming display of power.
???: Holy crap, he changed the weather!!
???: Is this for real?
???: Dude, is this happening right now?
Kamui Woods: This is unreal.
Mt. Lady: Holy s*it.
Death Arms broke out his train of thought as he chopped the blonde hero on the neck.
Death Arms: LANGUAGE!!
Everyone looked at Izuku as he carried the unconscious Bakugou towards the crowd.
Izuku looked to the heroes with a fake apologetic smile.
Izuku: Sorry about that, but in my defense, I was trying to protect myself.
Luckily the trio of heroes bought his excuse as Izuku turned around to leave.
But then - the crowd who saw his heroic act swarmed him like ants on a popsicle.Izuku tried to escape, but to no avail, Kamui Woods and Death Arms sweatdropped at the sight of Izuku being overwhelmed by the crowd who were complementing and praising him, even Mt.Lady joined the madness trying to convince Izuku to join her agency when he becomes a hero.
All Might witnessed the whole thing and now knew: he had found his successor.
But for now, All Might decided that he should help the boy get away from the crowd.
He quickly ran into an alleyway and transformed into his hero form.
He quickly slid out onto the street with his chest puffed out.
All Might: It is I, All Might in the flesh.
The crowd noticed the number one hero and immediately began to chase after him Izuku took this as an opportunity to escape.
Later -
Izuku: Whew, finally lost them.
Izuku was walking home happily, remembering all the compliments, he had received from the pro-heroes, and civilians.
Izuku was about to disappear around the corner when -
???: Deku!!
Izuku turned to see Katsuki standing behind him.
Katsuki: I didn't need your help, stupid Deku!! I could've gotten out of that mess by myself. You didn't do anything you hear!!
Izuku just scoffed.
Izuku: Whatever.
He turned around and left.
Izuku: (thought) Not even a 'thank you' for saving his life? What a jerk.
Izuku continued on walking, when -
All Might: I am here!!
All Might in his hero form yelled as he slid out of an alleyway.
Izuku: Woah?!!!!!
Izuku jumped back in surprise.
Izuku: All Might?!! What are you doing here? How did you get past the crowd?
All Might: Ha ha ha I stand for justice not for standbys because I am -
All Might did his signature pose, before finishing his sentence.
All Might: All Mi-
All Might's time limit ended as he reverted into his weakened form, spitting out blood.
Izuku: Aah!! Who are you? Where's All Might?
All Might: I am All Might.
Izuku: Whoa!! For real?!! Wait, what happened to you? Are you sick?
All Might wiped the blood off his mouth.
All Might: Yes, I'm alright, don't worry about me. But for now, allow me to explain my current situation.
All Might lifted his shirt revealing a horrible purple scar on his side.
All Might: I got this scar a few years back after a brutal fight with my arch-nemesis All for One. Thanks to him, I had to undergo 50 surgeries and had to get rid of many of my organs. Thus, rendering me in my current state, I can only use my quirk for a minimum of 3 hours but after that: I'm screwed. But that's beside the point.
All Might let out a cough as he clenched his chest. He looked like he was ready to pass out.
Izuku: Hey, are you alright?
All Might: Don't worry, about it, this happens a lot.
Izuku: (thought) How can I not be worried?
All Might: Anyways, young man. I came here to thank you. And to make a proposition. What you did today, inspired me even though you knew about the quirk laws, you came up with a plan to make it look like an act of self-defense thus saving the hostage and defeating the villain.
Izuku looked at All Might, in shock, how did he figure it all out?
All Might: There are a lot of stories of heroes and how they became great. Most have one thing in common their bodies moved before they had the chance to think almost on their own. Your body urged you to act even when knowing the consequences. So you formulated a plan to make it look like an act of self-defense, a perfect crime. You risked everything you had to help, you, my friend are a true hero.
Izuku felt clenched his heart as tears began to roll out of his eyes.
Izuku: Thank you, All Might. It's an honor to hear such praise, especially from you. All Might raised both of his hands.
All Might: That settles it, I deem you worthy of my power. My quirk is yours to inherit.
Izuku looked at All Might with a weird and funny look.
Izuku: Huh? What do you mean, inherit? Inherit what?
All Might let out a laugh.
All Might: You should've seen your face right now.
All Might let out a cough as he continued.
All Might: The press always assumed that my quirk is either super strength or super speed a kind of invulnerability. People need to believe that the symbol of peace is a natural-born hero. But I'm not, there is nothing natural about me or my quirk.
All Might tilt his head back as he spread his arms into the air.
All Might: I wasn't born with this power, it was a sacred torch, that passed, onto me from someone else.
Izuku looked at All Might in shock.
Izuku: Someone gave you your power?
Izuku finally noticed where all of this was going.
All Might: Yes, and I can give you my power. You can become an even greater hero, that surpasses even me!! My quirk is called One for All.
Izuku: (mumbling) One for all.
All Might: Yes, one person who proves the power hands it off, to another person and it continues to grow, as it gets passed along. In other words, it's a stockpile quirk that can continue to grow when passed along.
All Might pointed towards Izuku.
All Might: Now here's a question for you, young Midoriya. Will you accept this power? Will you go beyond your limits to become number one and surpass me?
Izuku nodded.
Izuku: Yes!! I accept!! I will do it!!
All Might: A quick and honest answer I like it!! Prepare yourself young Midoriya because your ten months of hell begins tomorrow!! I'm going to make you the next successor of One for all!!
So Izuku's 10-month of hell with All Might begins.
