Billy grumbled at Sally, "Girl you are going to get it. I might reorganize your books or something." To be honest he had already learned a great deal, "Oh, my bed is always open for snuggling. I understand that it is part of who you are."
He looked down at the crystal cube thing and picked it up, "Huh, sort of like a stacked chip I guess." Billy started thinking again which was hard for the others to deal with, "Well I would need..." He rolled the block around in his hand, "I would have to create a computer socket that would accept it and..." Jenna smacked him again.
"Damn it boy try to avoid using yur brain too much." She smiled as she leaned against him, "Some days you are too good for life." If he had been a bit more forward, he might have ended up with Sandi. Unlike Jenna she was Bi but leaned more towards females, "Do something smart for once and both live and learn." She stood up, "I have to get to work, later all." She turned and walked out and hoped that he would get the hint.
Satasha and Sally waved at Jenna as she left, "Have a good one Jenna." Sally called out and then turned back to her father who was looking at the cube, "Oh hell, time for the sleep meds. He is not going to sleep while he stares at that thing. Maybe you should drag him to bed and cuddle him." Billy looked at Sally and then Satasha, "From the sounds of it you had a hell of a flight. I think you need some sleep and I will talk you to later about this." He was still holding the molycirc block.
Sally stood up and nodded, "Sounds like a deal and I need to mutter at my pappa for not telling me about you." She stood up and wrapped an arm around Satasha and looked at her father to see what he was going to do.
Satasha looked down at the island, "I do have plenty of room in my bed as well." She sighed, "I have my own bed and if you don't mind Sally I would like to borrow your father. I do need, or would like someone to snuggle with. It's true we do tend to kittie pile, as you put it, and it has been so long since I had someone to snuggle with." She kept looking at the counter, "It does help."
Sally couldn't help but grin, "I will send you a bill for the use of my father. I hope you both have a good sleep since I am sure pa needs one as well." She gave Satasha and then her pa a good hug, "Hope you sleep well." She walked out of the ship the way she was shown in.
Billy almost snapped at Sally but didn't since he wasn't sleeping well, "Tasha that is fine and I need some sleep as well." He sighed as Sally left and then stood up, "Well we might as well go and crash since I have to admit I am tired." He picked up the trays and tossed them in the sink.
Satasha took the trays from the sink and stuck them in the recycler before walking over to him, "Yilly if you really want I can sleep alone but..." She turned and hugged him, "I did sleep well last night." She also leaned into his hug, "Please I would appreciate it. It really did mean a great deal to me."
He returned the hug and lean against her also, "I did as well and will admit that your fur felt really nice." Billy was looking over her shoulder, "It has been a very long time since I have had a woman in my bed or been in some other female's bed." He couldn't help but pull her a bit closer, "I lost my wife when my youngest girl was born and Sandi leans towards girls. She is also married to Jenna."
Billy lightly stroked her back, "Dani is 18 and just started college. Sally is 22 and almost done." His body was tense when he was talking to her, "I do miss my wife and her name was Danielle. My youngest is named after her." He managed not to cry and ended up following her to where she slept, "Sorry but sometimes it just hits."
Satasha couldn't help but give him a good hug, "Losing a mate is never an easy thing." She kept an arm around him as he talked, "I do understand though I have never dealt with it." She leaned against him and sighed, "I have seen it before and... Let's just sleep."
Billy looked around her rooms but didn't really say anything. He did pull off his coveralls and shirt before he rolled into the bed, "I will be here for you Tasha." He was still using the nickname without really thinking about it. At the moment he was thinking about his wife and the short time he had been with her. They had dated for over a year before she had ended up pregnant. Once they had married it had been just about five years before she passed. He had known her since they were children but they had been dating or married for just over six years.

"Knowing you can feel emotions at least as sad as I am remembering her, it feels really good to be held." He rubbed his face against her fur and sighed, "It has been a good five years or so since I have had anyone in my bed. Jenna and Sandi are great friends but definitely not in 'that' way." Satasha frowned slightly after the girls left and started a security check to see how they had managed to get in. Once that was done she walked into the bathroom and smiled at Billy as he let the water flow down his body.
She took a moment and looked at him since he was so different than male Sholan's. One very obvious difference was the lack of fur except in a few locations and it wasn't really fur. He had hair in his arm pits, groin and top of his head. There was some scattered hair on his chest and rest of his body but otherwise it was all skin. He was shorter than she was but he was obviously well muscled though he had some fat as well. His face was most definitely unlike her race was mostly flat but had a warmth and friendliness.
Just looking at him you wouldn't know just how damn smart he was. To be honest she had been horribly shocked at the change in him when she had mentioned re-crystallization of the hyper tubes. The easy going comfortable man became totally focused and his entire posture had changed. When she finally looked at the math he had been drawing out almost horrified her. It was almost a quantum leap from what they, the humans, were using and it was her fault.
After shaking her head, she stepped into the shower and let out a contented purr, "Your shower was nice but this is designed for Sholan's. Is the temp good for you?" She let the water flow down her fur and had to smile.
Billy opened his eyes when she came in and smiled back. He had noticed her looking at him through the clear glass, or whatever it was, "Well I do prefer it a bit warmer but can live. Where is the shampoo and such?"
She laughed at him, "Not a problem silly, see this control? Simply slide your finger one way or another and it will warm up or cool down. I needed a cool shower when I landed." She slid her finger to the left and the water warmed up and she had to smile at Billy as he leaned into the multiple shower heads.
Satasha grinned when he asked about shampoo, "Well all we have is for fur but should at least get you clean and maybe we can move some of your body wash in here." She leaned over and using a small nipple on the wall squirted some soap on her hands. After getting some soap she turned and started working it into his hair.
That startled him and then he started groaning, "Oh god that feels good and don't stop." Her fingers were doing wonders for him as she massaged his scalp. It was good enough he leaned his head back for better access.

Eventually they finished the shower and the warm air jets dried them off and he helped her brush her fur, "I have a feeling that getting my ship fixed is going to be far easier than yours. If you wouldn't mind helping me I will help you. I have a few ideas bubbling through my brain. It is going to require some serious modification to my computer in the house but I think I can do it."
That sounded really good to her, "Even if you can only get me in contact with my Mother Ship it would be a good thing." She lightly chewed on her lower lip, "They are likely to send another scout ship that is fully manned to come find me. It might go well and might be bad if they decide they need to slag my ship to keep the tech out of your hands."
Billy stood there for a moment and then nodded, "Make sense since they have no idea if we are friendly or not. I think it would be a good idea if we got your communications up and we can go from there." He dressed in his clothes from the other day since they hadn't really gotten dirty, "What do you want to do Satasha? I need to get my ship fixed and you, yours. I am not sure what to do."
She pulled on a tech suit and contemplated his question, "Well what I really wish is that we could work on both. I have little idea of the actual extent of your tech though you seem to think you might be able to do something about it. I can help you with your ship since it should be easier than my issues." If nothing else if she could help get his ship fixed she might be able to use it to get a message to her ship. That would hopefully keep anything from happening to his farm.

The stealth fighter received the message from the Mother Ship and this ship had a full compliment. The scout ships normally only carried three or at most four crew. They were lightly armed and armored since fighting wasn't their mission. With the fighters they had twice as many crew and were far more heavily armed and armored. Since the scout ships primary purpose was to do recon and report back having a short crew wasn't a problem.
With the fighters they needed the full complement to do their job. It was in the case of the loss of one or two was better than an entire crew. As soon as they received the orders they started in the direction of the last contact. Every day they dropped out of hyper, listened and then contacted the Mother Ship.
As they slowly approached the third planet they did notice a number of hyper signatures but they didn't match the traces of the drive signatures of the enemies. That didn't mean they weren't allies of the enemies so they kept the slow movement towards the planet. It was going to take some time. Even if the people of this world had taken the scout ship it was going to take time to figure out the tech and they would destroy it before that happened.
