SIX - PANICALERT!
The group and even the crew had search every space and corners of the mini cruise, but still they can't find Zayn. Its almost three in the morning and they all started to get worried, specially Z.Kee.
"Okay dad. Thanks." Louis said to his father on the phone, and walks towards his friends after hanging up the call.
"Is your dad mad?" Z.Kee asked anxiously, leaning at Zayn's car. She got the keys in her purse, but she could not just left until she saw her boyfriend.
"Nope. He is worried too. He's coming now with some authorities to help us look for Zayn" his voice cracked as he mentioned his friend's name. Louis's father has a big position and can summon police even if someone got missing less for than twenty-four hours. They are all glad with Mr. Tomlinson's concern, but cant stop the wariness they felt inside.
The four of them wait for a while for Louis' dad to come but they are all restless and worried. Pacing back and forth, thinking about some places in the boat that they think they had missed in their search.
"How about,the captains deck? I mean where the controls are,whatever they call that room." Harry suggested.
"They already checked it." Louis said with an frustrated sigh.
A black Montero sport came and parked beside Zayn's car. Z.Kee's eyes widen in surprise when she recognized the vehicle. She stood up straight from the open driver's seat of the car, where she rested for a minute and walk towards the front of Zayn's car.
Jake hurriedly stepped out from the passenger's seat followed by Arvin, who's behind the wheels. They both rushed to their sister with worried looks.
"H-.how di-.." Z.Kee was silenced by Arvin, he cupped the sides of his sister's face with both of his hands.
"Louis' dad called mum earlier, informing about Zayn's disappearance." Arvin answered in a calm voice to soothe his sister, she looked behind Jake and Arvin but her parents are not around.
"We just let dad accompany mum. She's freakin'ly worried." Jake stated beside him.
"Ohh god!" Z.Kee breathe those words,sliding under her brother's warm embrace. Her hands still shaking as she took a grip on her brother's jacket.
Harry offered his jacket to Kaitleen, she and her bestfriend stayed inside Zayn's car while the two boys together with Z.Kee's brothers joined the police officers in looking for Zayn inside the boat.
They were both staring blankly. Kaitleen darted her gaze at the authorities' patrol car, with blue light flashing on top of their mobile. While Z.Kee stared, hopefully, at the mini cruise. She envisioned in her mind that they will come out carrying his sleeping drunk boyfriend. She fisted the hem of Zayn's jacket she's wearing, she found at the back seat of the car.
Kaitleen noticed her bestfriend, getting stiff with fear and holding her breath, every time an officer comes out from the boat. She took Z.Kee's hand in her, squeezing it tightly.
"He'll be fine, don't worry." She said, Z.Kee relaxed a bit with her friend's concern.

She felt sleepy, but every time she tried to close her eyes, she saw Zayn. Z.Kee laid on her side, staring at a photo frame of her and Zayn, in her bedside table. Zayn was standing behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, chin rested on her shoulder. Smiles reached their eyes, both happy celebrating their first month.
"Where are you love?" She whispered the question. Hoping that Zayn, in the photograph, will answer.
Tears streamed down to her face, as fears come rushing towards her again. The time the police officer, came towards her earlier, breaks her and fear sink in. She was told, that they will assign the coast guards to finish the search for Zayn. The police had thought, that he fell off the ship, when Louis told them about the the shake when a wave hit it.
Louis also decided to let her and Kaitleen go home to take some rest. He and Harry, together with Jake, joined the coastal officers in searching for Zayn in the sea. She insisted but Arvin has convinced her and took Z.Kee home using Zayn's car.
"Did they find him?" Z.Kee bolted up from her bed when Arvin entered her room.
Arvin shook his head and brows furrowed when he saw her sister's shoulder slack in frustration. The dark rings under her eyes and stray tears worried him more. He took a seat at the end side of the bed. Seeing her like this hurt him badly.
"Don't worry, they'll find him."
"Why do everyone keep on telling me that? To never worry. I cant just do that Vin. Zayn is still missing and I can't just stay here and wait." She wailed at her brother. Sobs escaping from her mouth.
"I know princess. But you haven't got rest. You might faint there." Arvin's voice are full of concern. Thinking every words before speaking them out to calm her. "Please, get some sleep and I'll bring you back there." He continued.
"Is that a promise?" She asked. Earning a nod and a small smile from her brother. She obliged and lay back down her bed. She asked for Arvin to stay with her while she sleeps.
"Howisshe? Isshedoingokay?"
"Shejusthadsleep, she'sbeenuptillmorning. Weevenforcedhertotakesomesleepbeforegoingback."
She heard a female conversation outside her room, the second voice belongs to her mother. She woke up curling beside Arvin, who has fallen asleep with her. She got up from the bed without waking him up and went towards the door. The distinct talking of her mum and a woman comes from the hallway. Z.Kee thought, they just came from her room earlier.
She saw her mum, talking to the women, who look a lot like her boyfriend, near the stairs as she stepped out from her room. Patricia noticed her, she frowned seeing her daughter up after taking some sleep for about two hours. The women beside her, stopped her feet from taking steps down the stairs and followed her gaze.
"Hey, hon. Why are you up? Patty just told me you just took some rest." Tricia said worriedly. Z.Kee froze, seeing her boyfriend's mother in front of her.
She felt guilty for letting Zayn go back inside by himself. And now that his mum is standing in front of her, while Zayn is still missing, and she's just here in her house, made her feel more guilty.
"Ah-...I need to get back to the port. Did they find him yet?" She answered.
"Not yet honey. Harry just called me, he's still there. He let Louis take some rest." Zayn's mum answered. Its almost lunch and he's still missing. Her visions clouded with her tears.
Zayn's mother rushed to her side and patted her shoulder. She can't help her tears from falling, especially when Tricia is standing beside her. Zayn's mother hugged her, caressing her back with her hand, moving up and down.
The three of them went down the kitchen to eat after Z.Kee calmed from crying. Tricia joined them for lunch, the Smith family together with Zayn's mum eat their food quietly. Z.Kee has not eat a lot, her thoughts are running around. She's fighting with herself if its right for her to ask Jake about the search earlier. The silence that filled the room scared her for asking a question without breaking out after she heard her brother's answer.
"Uh-.. Uhmm Jake, how was the search son?" Hayden break the silence around them, as if he had read his daughter's thoughts, which surprises Z.Kee and felt relieve that its not her who asked Jake.
They all look up at Jake, he glanced between Z.Kee, who tilt her head up and look directly at Jake, and then to Tricia then back to his plate. Twirling his fork playing with his pasta. He don't know what words to say to avoid his sister from getting worried.
Jake is really concerned about Zayn, because he has grew a part of the family's life since her sister and Zayn were together. But he's a lot concerned with his sister, he can't stand seeing her so vulnerable. He just can't keep quite to keep her sister from hurting her emotions, but they are all so eager to hear. He just can't seemed to find the right words to say.
"Uhmm not yet. But they continued their search. Mr. Tomlinson has ordered them to never stop until Zayn is found." He stopped before he continued to what Louis' dad just said. "Evendeadoralive."
He knows that if he said those words, Z.Kee and Tricia might break out. Everyone got silent again, returning to their food, but they all got lots of worried thoughts in their mind.

Z.Kee parked her car at the port area's parking lot, she gave Zayn's keys to Tricia so she can use it while she's here. But before she got the chance to come back here, she had to convince her family that she will be fine, especially her mother. There are a few people around, mostly cops and coastal authorities, some of them are talking at a handy radio while looking at the ocean.
"I guess you need some of this." Z.Kee handed a cup of coffee she bought on her way here, to the surprised and sleepy Harry.
He was starring blankly at the ocean, brows creased with emotions that can't be read. He jolted out of his thoughts when Z.Kee popped on his side handing her a cup with a green logo with a women with curly hair. He tugged his lips on the side, taking the cup from Z.Kee.
"Thank you, have you get enough sleep" he asked, though he knows that she didn't, bags under her eyes are visible, the light swell also.
"Yeah just enough. How about you, you really need some rest too."
Harry shrugged and pout his bottom lip before answering. "I'm fine, I'm used to-..." He stopped when they both noticed the commotion of the officers.
Those cops along the port are busy listening and some talking on the handy radio they have. While the coast guards with their raft boats gathered at the side of the mini cruise. Harry and Z.Kee froze, holding the silver of hope they had while trying to figure what they saw on the side of the boat.
Harry grabbed Z.Kee in the arm as he slowly walk to the officers along the port line, careful enough that he's not dragging her along with him. As they reached the group of cops, Louis arrived, running himself as he got out of the car.
"What's going on? Did they find him?" Louis asked as he reached his friends while catching his breath.
"We still don't know, they just gathered along that side of your boat. They still haven't talk to us, whatever it is." Harry explained to his friend. His tone got raspy, his lack of sleep might be the cause. He has not leave since the they lost Zayn from their sight.
They tried to ask questions to the officers but they are so busy talking to their radio. They just put their palm in the air, in front of their face, gesturing for them to wait. The three of them tried to enter back to the boat, but it was cordoned with yellow police tape, and didn't allow them to get inside.
Harry noticed the yellow tape along the boat entrance, there were no such thing as that earlier. The coast guards searched the ocean while some cops still tried to search the boat, but no yellow tape was cordoned earlier. Z.Kee got more worried with Harry's realization, the commotion on the side of the boat might have something to do with it.
"Maybe they found him, but he's-.." She stopped with her thoughts. "No no no no. This can't be happening." She continued between sobs, Louis wiped the stray tears that has fallen involuntarily with his thumb. And offered her his arms.
"Come here." He said as Z.Kee oblige with his hug. "Hush now babe, we didn't know whats going on yet. Let's just hope nothing bad happens to him."
The boys continued soothing and calming their best friend's girlfriend. Harry wrapped his arms around them and joined their embrace. This made Z.Kee felt warm, calm, and felt Zayn's love through his best mates.
The three of them pulled away from their group hug when the head officer of the search team, Louis' dad summoned, walk towards their direction. Harry offered a handkerchief at Z.Kee when he saw her wiping her tears with the sleeve of her thin long sleeve shirt. He didn't remove his arm on her shoulders while Louis hold the small of her back as they faced the cop.
"What's going on there officer Scott?" Louis asked the almost bald cop, with his badged dark blue uniform. Mr. Scott is like mostly of the cops, a little stubble just below his nose with chubby cheeks and a little bulky tummy. For short, he's a tall yet fat officer, not taller than Harry.
He stoop there, with one hand on his hip and the other hand with a notepad with some pictures inserted in in the middle. He look at them with worried eyes, which they all noticed. Louis started rubbing his palm in Z.kee 's back, up and down, when a sob comes out from her mouth.
"We still haven't found him." The officer started, taking off the pieces of photos from his notepad. "But we found this on the left side of the boat. Now where positive that he's on the ocean. But with that evidence, were not sure that he's still alive or not."
Harry took the pictures first and show it to Louis and Z.Kee. Her knees wobbled and she stumbled when she saw the picture of a white metal with ropes,stainedwithblood.
