I sat in the hospital waiting room, my legs dangling off the the hospital bed thingy. My eyes were soaked up with tears, and I was scared to death.
I waited, and waited, and waited. I wanted to know if my family was alright.
The doctor came in, with an unease look on his face. Oh no...
"Crystal Rose? I'm sorry, they are gone. You will be placed with someone new. Her name is Zelena Mills." He says sadly. My face became pale and I was shaking. "What." I whispered.
Next thing I knew, I was in a tiny green car, driving to my house to collect my things.
I got my things and some of my parents old things too, and I put them in the car. Zelena gave me a slight nod and we moved to our new house. It was a nice house, but I do miss my old one more.
"You can choose any room you want. We can paint it too, if you like." She says and nods towards the house, as she grabs some bags. I walk inside and look around. I found a nice room, with a view at the water and a nice place to sit by the window. I put my small duffel bag down and run back outside.
"I chose a room." I tell her, and continue grabbing stuff. That's the first time I talked to her. "Great." She says and smiles.
——ima do a time skip... 1 week later——
I sat on my bed, putting binders and school supplies in a small backpack. Monday is my first day at school. Or, back at school. It took some convincing, but Zelena is letting me go back to my old school. I don't really communicate with her that much, but that's because all I can think about is my family. I throw my backpack in my closet and lay back, looking at the ceiling.
I'm not gonna tell anyone about my family.
Unless they already know...
