closed hearts and open wounds
a lethal combination
like us two
the precipitation of unfulfilled promises shower over us
like stardust
although something this cosmic can't survive without oxygen
shallow breaths are taken in between
dry coughs
and damp kisses
as time isn't moving slow enough
and blood isn't circulating fast enough
it rushes from my feet up to my head,
a true testament to what damage your pecks can bring
my bittersweet blindness
thanks to our raging teenage hormones
and what mouths do
