I wake up to the bright sun on my face but also the loud alarm clock. It's only been a few weeks since the whole Darach thing and since I broke up with Derek, well... we are actually on a break but I haven't heard from him since that day even though I said no texts or phone calls, I'm getting worried even though he did agree to give me space. I've been focussing more on myself lately like...
I got a haircut that goes past my shoulders but stops just before it hits my breasts, I made my hair a shade darker then before, I changed my style and I feel really great about it. I'm a whole new women.
I got up and got ready for school. I put on a mid thigh length flower printed dress, a brown leather jacket and brown knee high boots to match. I straightened my hair and put on light make up. I grabbed my bag and looked at myself one last time in the mirror.
"You look fine" I mumble to myself and walk out my room But stop when I see Isaac fly into the wall and it makes a loud noise.
My mom then appears from around the corner
"Hey! You two supernatural teenage boys. Don't test my entirely unsupernatural level of patience" my mom says and points two fingers at Isaac and waves them up and down signalling him to get up
"You feel better?" Isaac asks Scott
"Boys" I say and roll my eyes while walking downstairs to my new car. Yes I got a new car. It's a white BMW and it's really pretty.

When I get too school I see Scott and Stiles. They both have worry on their faces.
"It's happening to you to" Stiles says "you're seeing things aren't you?"
"How'd you know?"
"Because it's happening too all three of you" Lydia then appears and I turn around too see her and Allison
We walk into the school. Me and Lydia's arms linked together as we smile at the thought of the three of them being abnormal
"Well well look who's no longer the crazy one" Lydia says
"We're not crazy" Allison argues
"Hallucinating. Sleep paralysis" Lydia says
"Yeah I'm sure you guys are fine" I add
"Well we did die and come back to life. It's got to have some side effects right?" Scott says then the bell rings
"Keep an eye on each other okay?" Stiles says then points at me and Lydia "and you two stop enjoying this so much"
"What?" Lydia says and I laugh then we walk to class together

We sitting in history and I see a new teacher at the front.
"Morning everyone my name is Mr Yukimora I'll be taking over for your previous history teacher" He says "my family and I moved here three weeks ago. I'm sure by now you know my daughter Kira or you might not since she's never actually mentioned anyone from school or brought home a friend for that matter"
We all turn around when we hear a big thud in the back of the class.
"There she is" Mr Yukimora says and points to the girl with her head on the desk. She looks up and I smile at her but her eyes are focused on something else and it's Scott and he's looking back at her but then he turns around. Oh no not another new student Scott.

I walk with Scott and Stiles to Stiles' locker
"Maybe we need a little more time to get back to normal?" Scott says
"Try not to forget we hit the reset button on a supernatural beacon for supernatural creatures. I think there's a pretty good chance of things never going back to normal" Stiles says
I feel Scott starting too breath heavily on me so I turn around and see his eyes glowing red.
"Scott your eyes" I say
"What about them?"
"They're starting to glow" Stiles says
"You mean like right now?"
"Yes right now. Scott stop it" I say
"I can't- I can't control it" Scott says and attempts to cover his eyes
Stiles grabs Scott's head and pulls it down
"Just keep your head down" Stiles says and we walk into an empty classroom
Scott starts taking off his jacket and we try and walk towards him but he says
"No stay back. Get away from me!"
"Scott it's okay" I say
"I don't know what's going to happen. Get back!" He yells and turns too look at us and digs his claws in his hands and he turns back too human.
"Pain makes you human" He says while holding up his bloody hands
"Scott this isn't just in our heads" Stiles says "this is real and it's starting to get bad for me to"
"Why?" I ask
"I'm not just having nightmares. I'm having these dreams where I have to literally scream myself awake and sometimes I'm not sure if I'm ever actually waking up"
"What do you mean?" Scott asks
"You know you can tell if your dreaming. You can't read in dreams. More and more the last few days I've been having trouble reading." Stiles says "it's like I can't see the words. I can't.... Put the letters in order"
"Like even now?"
Stiles stands up and starts reading the writing on the board and the posters around the classroom
"I can't read a thing" He says

"Right at her head?" I ask as Scott, Isaac and I walk into Scott's room
"Almost right through it and she keeps saying the same thing that she keeps seeing her aunt." Isaac says "what ever's happening to you guys is getting worse and if I hadn't been there Lydia would be dead"
"What were you doing there?" Scott asks
"Yeah Isaac what where you doing there?" I say and cross my arms with a smirk on my face
"Uh..." Isaac tries but Scott grabs him by the shirt then throws him into the wall in the hall again
"Aw you guys come on!" I hear my mom say "this house does not have a supernatural ability to heal. So stop it!"
"You never learn do you?" I say to Isaac
"You never learn do you?" Isaac says mimicking me and I roll my eyes
"Have you heard anything from Derek?" Scott asks
"No why would I?" I say
"Cause you're his girlfriend" Scott says
"Well I'm trying... to get over him" I say whispering the last part
"So you're not attracted to him in anyway?" Scott asks and Isaac folds his arms and smirks
"No I'm definitely not" I say fold my arms even though I know that's a lie
"Wait I thought you guys were on a break. Not broken up" Isaac says
"He's been gone for a long time and he hasn't called, even though I did tell him not to call but he's Derek he always calls" I say
"He doesn't call us" Scott says
"That's not my problem" I tell him
"Then why dont you call him?" Isaac asks
"Becasue I don't need him rght now and I'm not going to be the girlfriend who calls her boyfriend when she needs to be rescued" I say and I'm starting to get really frustrated with this conversation. Like seriously? leave me alone
"But what if we need him?" Scott asks
"Then you call him!" I say and walk out the room
Do I want Derek back? Do I need him? I have no idea?

"Stilinski!" Coach yells and I look over at Stiles
"Uh huh" Stiles says
"I asked you a question" Coach says
"Uh sorry coach what was it?"
"Oh it was uh, Stilinski are you paying attention back there?"
"Well I am now" Stiles says and twirls a pencil in his hands
"Stilinski stop reminding me why I drink... Every night" Coach says
Scott and I both look at Stiles worried.
"I'm okay I just fell asleep for a sec"
"Dude you weren't asleep" Scott says
Stiles eyes travel from Scott to the piece of paper in front of him. Written over and over are the words 'Wake up'

Allison, Scott, Lydia, Isaac, Stiles and I are sitting outside at one of the tables.
"Okay so what happens to a person who has a near death experience than comes out of it seeing things?" Scott says
"And is also able to tell what's real or not" Stiles adds
"And is being haunted by demonic visions of dead relatives" Allison adds too
"They're locked up because they're insane" Isaac says
"Ha! Can you at least try to be helpful?" Stiles says "please"
"For half my childhood I was locked in a freezer. Being helpful is kind of a new thing for" Isaac says
"Are we still milking that?"
"Yeah I'm still milking that" Isaac responds
"Stop saying milking every time you say it I picture a cow and I hate cows" I say and look down at my book
"Hi" an unfamiliar voice says I look up and see Kira, Mr Yukimoras daughter
"Sorry I couldn't help over hearing what you guys were talking about... And I think I might actually know what you're talking about" Kira says and I smile because she's really sweet "there's a Tibetan word for it's called Bardo. It literally means in between state. The state between life and death"
"And what do they call you?" Lydia says and I kick her under the table and she glares at me
"Be nice" I whisper
"Kira" Scott says and everyone looks at him and I smirk
"Guys she's in our history class" I say trying to help Scott out
"So are you talking Bardo in Buddhism or Indian?" Lydia asks
"Either I guess" Kira says and sits down next to Stiles "but all the stuff you guys were just saying, all that happens in Bardo. There are different progressive states where you can have hallucinations. Some you can see, some you just hear and you can be visited by peaceful and wrathful deities"
"Wrathful deities" Isaac asks "what are those?"
"Like demons"
"Demons... Why not" Stiles says
"Hold on if they're different progressive states then what's the last one?" Allison asks
"Death. You die" Kira says kind of cheerfully and I laugh a little and everyone looks at me
"What?" I ask with a smile on my face "she's brilliant!"
Kira smiles at me and I return it.

After school we went too Deaton for help
"Sounds like your subconscious is trying to communicate with you" Deaton says
"Well how do I tell my subconscious to use a language that I actually know" Stiles says
"Do you remember what the sign language looked like?" Deaton says "the placement and the movement of the hands?"
"You know sign language?" I ask
"I know a little" Deaton says "let me give it a shot"
"The first move was like this" Stiles says as he hold his left index finger and he moved his right one in a circle around it.
"That's when" Deaton says
"Then there's this, twice" Stiles holds his hand together then moves his right up
"That's door"
"Then there this in between that" he flicks his chin with his right thumb
"That's it?"
"Yeah"
"When is a door not a door" Deaton says
"When is a door not a door?" Stiles says
"When it's ajar" I say
"You kidding me... A riddle" Stiles says
"His subconscious is telling him a riddle?" I ask
"Not necessarily. When the there of you went out of the water. When you crossed from unconsciousness to a kind of super consciousness, you essentially opened a door in your minds" Deaton tells us
"So what does that mean?" Scott asks "is the door still open?"
"Ajar" Deaton say correcting Scott
"A door into our minds" Stiles says
"I did tell you it was risky" Deaton says
"What do we do about it?"
"It's... Difficult to answer"
"No wait a sec. I know that look. That's when we know exactly what's wrong with you and we have no idea how to fix it look" Stiles says
"Well one thing I do know is having an opening like that into your mind... It's not good. You each need too close that door and you need to do it as soon as possible"

Last night Sheriff asked us if we could help track down the scent of a missing girl named Malia Tate, a girl who has been missing for 8 years.
The Sheriff goes in the front door while Stiles, Scott and I use the back door. We are doing it very quietly because Mr Tate doesn't know we're helping.
We walk over and find Malia's room and start sniffing stuffed animals or anything with her scent on it.
"All I'm getting is some animal smell" Scott says and I nod
"What kind of animal?" Stiles asks
"dog" I say
"Hi puppy" Stiles says "get rid of it"
"Go on Scott" I whisper
"Me?" Scott asks
"No Stiles" I whisper sarcastically "glow your eyes at it, something"
"Be the alpha" Stiles says
"I can't. I don't have control"
"Okay buddy you are going to have to try something" Stiles says
"Nice doggy" Scott says and walks closer too it
"Scott are you serious!" I whisper yell and then the dog starts barking
"Apollo shut up" I hear Mr Tate say "Apollo shut the hell up"
Apollo: the dog, stops barking and runs away. Stiles hands Scott a book.
"Anything?" Stiles asks
"All I'm getting is that dog"
Stiles sighs then looks at a picture on the dressing table. He takes a picture of it using his phone.

"We're sorry. We tried as hard as we could" Scott says "If it wasn't so long ago, we might've been able to do it"
"It's okay. It was a long shot" Sheriff says "in fact it was a pretty terrible idea. I think I just ripped a wound open in that poor man. I never should of brought you guys here. I don't know what I was thinking. Thanks for trying alright"
I give Mr Stilinski a small smile and he gets in his car.
"See you at home" he tells Stiles and he drives off
"Aren't there a lot of cases that go un solved?" Scott asks
"Yeah he felt like this is one he could've figured out right now" Stiles says
"Why is it so important now?"
"Well he wants to be able too solve one more while he's still sheriff" Stiles says
"What do you mean still sheriff?" I ask but Stiles sighs again

My father is honestly one of the worst people ever. How could he come here and take Stiles' dads job.
"No one invited you here, okay!" Scott yells at our father
"I'm here to help" Rafael says
"That doesn't make any sense 'dad!'" Scott yells "who are you helping?!"
"Just get out!" I yell and point to the door
"Guys" Rafe says and I see mom walk through the door
"I can't believe you'd do this too our best friend" Scott says
"I'm not doing anything to your friend. I'm doing my job"
"Your job sucks!" Me and Scott both yell
"Some days I can't argue with that" Rafe says and I scoff
"Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" My mom says
"He's trying to get Stiles' dad fired" Scott says
"That's not true-"
"What are you doing?" My mom asks my dad
"Conducting a case for impeachment"
"Sounds a lot like getting him fired" Mom spits back
"Lack of resolution and the ability to close cases is what's going to get him fired. My job is just to correct information. It's the job my superiors have given me"
"Your job sucks!" My mom says and I look over at Scott who is breathing heavily and he's claws are coming out
"Scott, sweetheart calm down." My mom says "come with me right now"
My mom and Scott leave my dad and I.
"Why? Just why are you even back?" I say and my dad looks at me hurt
"I'm just-"
"'doing my job' I know" I say "why can't you do it somewhere else? Huh?"
"It's too late I'm here now" he says
"But no one wants you to be here and all you're really here to do is start trouble and cause problems" I say while running a hand through my hair "just because Stiles' dad knows something you don't want him to know doesn't give you the right to take his job"
"What does he know?" My dad asks
"Listen. I don't want to go into details but you know what I'm talking about" I tell him and his face saddens
"I'm sorry but-"
"Don't apologise to me, apologise to Scott" I say cutting him off "Cause he's the one who really needs a dad right now"
My dad is about to say something but I just go upstairs and go to my room.

As soon as I walked in my room I went to bed. I'm just laying in bed thinking about what I said to my dad when all of a sudden I start too feel sweaty and my sides are hurting like hell. I just ignore it but it comes back this time sharper and more painful. I lift up my shirt and my stomach is all red and it stings like hell.
I start to scream like hell and I'm clutching my stomach while I sit up and I'm still screaming loud. My door opens and I see my dad. He comes to me and holds me.
"Jailee shhhh" He says and he rocks me in his arms. What is he doing? He can't be all fatherly when he hasn't been a father in forever. I start to calm down but I start to shake then my mom walks through my door
"Sweetheart are you okay?" She asks
"She probably just had a nightmare" My dad says but I'm not having a nightmare. This was real and it has to do with Derek
I don't say anything I just grab onto my dad's shirt still shaking. My ears are ringing and I don't have a clue why but before I know it I'm out like a light.
