A rhyme to you, that is what I am writing right now.
We do not talk to each other anymore- I do not know how.
I'm spending my nights in bed thinking about you,
I cannot say I do that without feeling blue.
I miss our time together- the way you were.
Looking at you now, I realize you would have replaced me no matter what; it'd always be her.
Our friendship now buried deep in the ground and in the past,
Our time together went way too fast.
Promising you the world and all my love,
It was all you ever wanted to get rid of...
Giving you my everything, my all,
You never put in any effort; you let me crawl,
Towards you, where I thought I'd feel safe,
Instead, I think I walked into our grave.
Sadly, you are not the same person anymore,
Causing us to be ,on this day, still in war.
