It's been a while since the whole Kanima situation and we all seem to be having pretty normal lives. I haven't really seen much of Derek, he's just been ditching me for God knows what but I don't really mind.
Allison and Scott broke up and she went to France for half the summer so Stiles and I have been trying to make Scott feel better but nothing seems to be working he still misses her and he still loves her.
But Scott and Allison aren't the only ones with relationship problems. Lydia and Jackson have spent almost the whole summer together until his dad sent him to London and he's now living there. Derek helped him out with the whole being an American werewolf in America so I guess that's good.
Tonight Scott decided he wants to get a tattoo so me and Stiles are going to take him to get one.

"Boy it's a good thing you drew me a picture" The tattoo guy says to Scott who is smiling
"Hey Scott you sure you don't want something like this?" Stiles says and holds up a sketch that looks like the Kanima but Scott just give him a little glare while I just giggle Stiles' foolishness "too soon? Okay"
He closes the while I still laugh even though it's not even funny.
"Maybe I should get a tattoo?" I say and Scott and Stiles both look at me
"No!" They both say and I roll my eyes
"Are you sure about this man these things are pretty permanent" Stiles says
"I'm not changing my mind"
"Okay but why two bands?" I ask
"I just like it" Scott says
"But don't you think your first tattoo should have some meaning?"
"Getting a tattoo means something" Scott says
"He's right" the tattoo guys says "tattooing goes back thousands of years, the Tahitian word tattoo means to leave a mark, like a rite of passage"
"Yeah you see he gets it!" Scott says
"He's covered in tattoos Scott, literally" Stiles says and folds his arms
"You ready?" The tattoo guy asks Scott and he nods "you don't have any problems with needles do you?"
"Nope"
"I get a little screaming though-" Stiles begins but soon falls on the floor and passing out
"Man down!" I say

We get back into the jeep and Stiles has an ice pack.
"You had to faint really?" I ask and he just glares at me and all of a sudden Scott starts groaning
"You okay?" Stiles ask Scott
"It kind of burns" Scott says
"Yeah cause you just had your skin stabbed, a hundred thousand times with a needle"
"Yeah but I don't think it's supposed to feel like this" Scott says and starts groaning louder
"No it's definitely not supposed to feel like this! I got take this thing off" Scott says about the bandage protecting his tattoo so It doesn't get an infection
"No Scott, I don't think... Scott, please Scott" Stiles says shaking his head
Scott unravels the bandage and it's all red and it's healing.
"Whoa, whoa" Stiles says
"Ah no, what! Aw Come on" Scott whines and the tattoo completely heals
"It healed" I say
"Thank God I hated it" Stiles says and Scott glares at him
"Sorry"

Stiles stops the car cause we're at a red light and they're talking about Scott and Allison's break up but I couldn't be bothered listening.
To be honest she's actually not my favourite person right now, considering she stabbed me with a Chinese ring dagger, stabbed Isaac 6 times and tried to kill Derek but I'll try to forgive and forget.
I still pay no attention to their convo and I'm glad I brought my new book along with me, I'm currently reading Divergent and I'm going to read it first then watch the movie. So when I watch it, it can actually make sense.
The car goes silent and look up at Scott who is looking out the window and I see Allison in the car right next to us with Lydia.
"Oh my god" Scott says and lowers himself in his seat "can we just drive please Stiles!"
"Scott it's a red light" Stiles argues "I think we should talk to them, I think you should say something"
Stiles rolls down the window
"Hey" He says but they drive off, through the red light
"You know they probably didn't see us" I says trying to make Scott feel better
The light turns green and Stiles starts driving again.
"What are you doing?" Scott asks
"I'm driving"
"We're right behind them!" Scott panics
"Well do you see any turns?" Stiles asks
"I don't want it too look like we're following them" Scott says
"Well what do you want me too do?"
"I don't know anything?"
Stiles looks at Scott then hits the breaks with his foot and stops the jeep in the middle of the road. Then Lydia stops the car.
"Maybe they ran out of gas?" I say but then I hear a crash and two loud screams. We get out the car and rush over to them.
"You okay?" Scott asks
"It's came out of nowhere" Lydia says
"Are you hurt?" I ask her as I examine her for any marks
"Are you okay?" Scott asks Allison
"I'm okay" She whispers
"Well I'm not okay" Lydia says "I'm totalling freaking out how the hell did that just run into us!"
Me and Scott slowly start walking towards the windshield.
"I saw it's eyes before it hit us" Lydia begins "it was like it- was like it was crazy"
"No it was scared" Scott says and I place a hand on the deer
"Actually it was terrified" I say

I wake up the next morning to Scott listening too music and I put my face in the pillow then turn over
"Scott! shut up!" I yell
"No!" He yells back
I give up and just get ready for school in black skinny jeans, with a flowy grey-blue tank top, a brown leather jacket and brown boots. I left my hair open and took two piece at the front and pinned them in the back.
I walked into Scott's room
"I'm leaving" I say
"Okay see you at school" He says and I turn around and head out the door.

I walk over to Lydia and Allison.
"Fresh-men tons and tons of fresh-men" Lydia says
"You mean fresh boys" I says and smile at both of them
"Yeah Lydia they're fourteen" Allison says
"Some are more mature than others" Lydia says while leaning closer onto the locker
"You know it's okay to be single, Focus on your self for a little while, work on becoming a better person" Allison says and I nod along with her
"Allison, I love you. So if we're doing that thing where we talk about me but we're actually talking about you, it's totally fine but I don't want a boyfriend" Lydia laughs and places her hand on the locker next to Allison's "I want a distraction"
"I can tell- well I can actually smell that you've already had one" I say and she smirks at me but she gets thrown off by someone or something behind me and I turn around to see two people both carrying motorbike helmets
"Brothers?" Allison asks
"Twins" Lydia says and I see two hot twins walking through the hall
"I wouldn't mind having me one of those" I say and Lydia and Allison laugh and we walk into English
I go over and sit next to Stiles but Allison can't find a seat, I look around and see the only seat available is in front of Scott. She sits down and Scott mumbles some things about it's begging vacant.
Then I hear everyone's phones going off and I pull out my iPhone and see a text message
"The offing was barred by a black bank of clouds and the tranquil waterway leading to the uttermost ends of the earth flowed somber under an overcast sky seemed to lead into the heart of an immense darkness" Our new English teacher says "this is the last line, to the first book we are going read. It is also the last text you will receive in this class"
She seem so bright and cheerful. Which is different compared to a the other English teachers we've had.
"Phones off everyone" She says and I put my phone back in my bag I start to get out my books then the principal walks in and says something to Miss Blake
"Scott and Jailee McCall" She says and we get our things
I walk past Stiles and he grabs onto my wrist then he pulls me down.
"What's going on?" He asks
"I'll text you if it's bad" I tell him and he nods then I follow Scott out of the classroom but Miss Blake stops us in our tracks and closes the door behind her
"I'm sure it's an emergency if your mother wants you to leave school but I'm going to give you a warning in the nicest possible way" Miss Blake says to Scott "I am well aware of your attendance record, I don't want to see you slip back into your old habits"
"I won't" Scott says "it's going to be different this year"
"Resolutions are only good if you stick with them Scott" She says and I nod
"I will I promise I won't be ephemeral" Scott says and we smile and walk away leaving her puzzled by Scott's choice of words
"Nice" I compliment him
"I know right" He smiles as we walk out the school

"Why didn't you tell us before?" Scott asks my mom as we walk in the hospital
"Honestly I was hoping I wouldn't have too" She says
"What do you mean?" I ask
"Everything that Scott's been doing the extra reading, the summer school, saving up for the bike even though it scares me half to death" My mom says "Guys I just didn't want disrupt the good rhythm"
We stop in the hall
"It's not going to stop. I'm going to be better this year. A better student, a better son, a better brother, a better everything I promise" Scott says and smile
"Okay. He's in room 215 if isn't already in surgery" My mom says
"Thank you" and Scott and I both kiss my mom on different cheeks
We run to the elevator and I press the button to close it. It's starts closing but someone's walking stick stops it and Scott steps back then opens the door while a blind man walks in
"Could you hit the button for. The second floor please" The blind man says and Scott looks at the button that I just pushed and presses it again.
We get to the second floor
"You wouldn't mind helping me out for second wouldn't you" The Blind guy says
"Sure" Scott says and the man puts his hand on Scott shoulder and we walk out the elevator
After we helped the blind man, we started looking for Isaac. When we turned a corner we see a big guy wheeling a wheel chair into and elevator. The guy turns and looks at us I can hear his heart beat as he pushes the button. He's a werewolf.
Scott and I both extend our claws and we start running towards the elevator. We jump in before the door closes and are fully shifted.
Scott goes to attack him but the big guy slams him into the elevator wall and I go to to attack him but he does the same too me and I fall to the ground.
He then grabs both Scott and I by our necks and holds us up.
"Don't you realise why you're dealing with?" The giant guy growls "I'm an alpha"
I hear the elevator ding and it opens. The big guys drops both me and Scott on the floor
"So am I" I hear Derek's voice and he throws the big guy out the elevator and he turns around "aren't you supposed to be in school?"
I raise an eyebrow at him and he smirks at me.

We follow Derek into the Hale house and he is carrying Isaac.
"You don't still live here, do you?" Scott asks
"No, no he doesn't" I say and Scott raises an eyebrow at me and I smirk
"The county took it over but there's something that I need" Derek says "it'll help heal a wound of an alpha"
Scott takes a look at Isaac who is laying on the table
"Yeah but it did heal" Scott says
"Not on the inside"
Scott looks back at Derek and says
"Are you going to tell me who that was back there? That alpha"
"A rival pack" Derek says "it's my problem... I know you want to help and you did, I owe you one. Now go home"
Derek gets up and I give him a are you serious look
"Go back to being a teenager" He says and walk over to Isaac
Scott begins to leave and I don't know what to do but He stops and grabs his arm
"Hey Derek, if you want to repay that favour now. There is something you could do for me" Scott says and Derek turns around
"Oh no" I say and throw my head back knowing what he wants Derek to do for him and his tattoo

Derek and Scott are sitting across from each other and Derek's eyes turn red as he looks at Scott arm. Stiles finally showed up after he got my text from earlier when we exited the hospital.
"Yeah I see it" Derek's says "two bands right?"
Scott nods
"What does it mean?"
"I don't know it's just something I traced with my fingers" Scott says and draws a circle, one inside and one of the outside of each other.
"Why is this so important to you?" Derek asks
"Do you know what the word tattoo means?" Scott asks
"Too mark something" Stiles says and smiled like an idiot
"Well that's in Tahitian" Scott says "in Samoan it means open wound. I knew I wanted to get a tattoo when I turned 18, I always wanted one but I just decided to get in now make it some kind of reward"
"For what?"
"For not calling or texting Allison all summer" Scott says "even when I really wanted too, even when it's was so hard not to sometimes and I just tried to give her the space she wants"
Derek nods and I place a hand on Scott shoulder.
"Four months later it's still hurts. It's still feels like a uh-"
"Open wound" I say finishing for Scott
"Yeah"
Derek turns around and grabs something
"Pains going to be worse than you every felt" Derek says
"Do it" Scott says and Derek puts on the blowtorch
"Wow that's a lot for me so I'm going to take that as my que" Stiles says "I'm just going to wait outside"
"Nope" Derek's says and grabs Stiles' arm and pulls him back "you're gonna help hold him dow"
"Why? When you have Jailee standing right there" Stiles whines and walks over to Scott and holds his shoulders
"She's going hold his arm" Derek says and I place both my hands on Scott's forearm and hold it down
Derek puts the blow torch to Scott's arm and he starts groaning in pain.
"Hold him" Derek says and Stiles grip is tighter
Scott continues too scream and start shifting and he eventually passes out from the pain.

A couple hours pass and I hear Scott gasped for air, I turn around and see him looking at his arm.
"It's worked" He says observing the tattoo. He puts his shirt back on and starts walking out the house
"Jay you coming?" Scott asks and Derek looks at me and smirks
"Uh maybe later" I say and smile
"You painted the door" Scott yells from the front and I look at Derek "why'd you paint the door?"
"Go home Scott" Derek says but Scott doesn't leave he looks at the door and feels it
"Why only one side?" Scott asks then extends his claws and starts scratching the paint off and I walk towards him
"Scott!" Derek yells
I honestly don't know why Derek painted the door and I'm starting to think he's keeping something from me. Again.
After Scott done with the peeling of the paint, we look at the door and see a whole bunch of scratch marks.
"The birds at school and the deer last night. Just like the night I got trampled when I got bit by the alpha" Scott says "How many are there?"
"A pack of them" Derek says and sighs
"I mean I knew about the alphas but is this why you've been ditching me lately?" I ask
"I'm sorry" Is all that he says
"All of them how does that even work?" Stiles asks
"I think there's some kind of a leader" Derek says "he's called Deucalion"
I did not know about this leader nor did I know about the scratch marks. But I did know there was a pack lurking around Beacon Hills
"They have Boyd and Erica" Derek says "Peter, Isaac and I have been looking for them for the past four months"
"Why didn't you tell me about the door?" I ask
"I didn't want to bother you" He says
"So you find them" Scott says interupting our meaningful conversation and walks closer to Derek "how do you deal with an alpha pack?"
"With all the help I can get"
Stiles, Scott and I all look at each other.
"Where is she?" We hear Isaac and we turn around "where's the girl?"
"What girl?" Derek asks
