Veronica's POV
I went home at around noon. When I got home it was empty and quiet. Just how I like it... kind of. I wish Betty was here. I mean I know I just came from her house, but I miss her already. It's probably because we didn't see each other for over a month and we just miss each other. I sighed and layed down on my bed. I put my face in my pillow. About five minutes later there was a knock at my bedroom door. Who the fuck is that? I sat up and looked at the door. What the fuck? "Mom?" I said as I saw her. I stood up. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Well I wanted to come back and see my little girl." I smiled a little.
We went downstairs to talk a little. "So how are you and Archie?" She asked. Right she don't know anything I forgot. "Right you don't know." I said. She looked at me confused. "What do you mean?" She asked. "We broke up seven months ago." (Yes I did the math shocking I know) She nodded. "Oh why?" She asked. "He was cheating on me." "Oh I'm sorry about that." She actually sounded empathetic. Okay weird. "So uhh you've been living here by yourself and nobody has been here in over seven months?" "Uhh not exactly." She smiled and looked at me. "Oh who has been over here then?" I sighed. Should I tell her or not? Should I? Yes, she's my mother she deserves to know. "Betty's been over here a couple of times." I told her. "Oh it's nice that you have a friend who you can trust." She sighed. "She's not my friend." She looked at me confused again. "What do you mean?" She asked. "We aren't friends because we are together. Like together together." I told her hoping she'd understand. She nodded. I looked at the ground "Well I'm happy for you." I looked up at her. "Your fine with it?" I questioned. "Of course why wouldn't I?" I shrugged. I don't know." "Is that where you were at night." "Huh?" "I came here last night and you weren't home." She said. "Oh uhh yea. Sorry for not being here." I said. "No, it's okay." Ir was quiet again. "How long have you guys been together?" She asked. "It's a bit complicated." I told her. "Well I can take it." I sighed. "We got together 7 months ago, but a month ago we broke up." She tilted her head. "Why?" She asked. "Her mom wanted to keep her away from me so she took her out of town." "How far did they get?" "Kansas." I told her. "Oh wow. Okay go on." She said. "And then we got back together like two days ago from going to Cheryl's end of the school year party." She nodded. "Oh okay." "So life is complicated right now." I said with a sigh. It was quiet again. "How long are you staying?" I asked her breaking the silence. "I'm leaving tomorrow I have business I need to got to." I nodded. "Okay. I'm uhh gonna go to my room." She nodded. "Oh okay."
When I got to my room my phone was buzzing. I grabbed and Betty was calling me. Before I could answer it ended. I had a few texts. One was from Betty asking if we could meet up at Pop's. I texted back.
Betty
Yes, of course. Sorry I didn't answer.
It's alright. Meet you there at about ten minutes?
Yea, okay.
**I walked downstairs and passed my mom. "Where are you going?" She asked. "I'm going to meet Betty at Pop's. Is that not okay?" "Oh no it's fine. Go ahead." I nodded and left.
When I got to Pop's Betty was sitting in a booth. I walked over and sat across from her. "Sorry my mom is back in town." I told her. "Is that good or bad?" She asks. "Honestly, I don't know." I told her. She slightly nodded. "Oh okay. How long is she staying? Do you know?" I sighed a little. "Tomor- row. She has business to attend." I said. She smiled a little. "Oh okay." It was quiet. I heard the bell ring meaning someone walked in. I looked up at saw Archie and Jughead. I got up and sat next to Betty. "What was that?" She asked. "Nothing just Archie and Jughead came in and I want to sit next you if they sit with us." She nodded. "Oh okay."
A few seconds later they came and sat in front of us. "Hey guys." Betty said. "It's been awhile since we all talked." Archie said. I nodded. "Yea it has." I said. Betty grabbed my hand under the table. I didn't complain just wondered why. I layed my head on her shoulder. "You know I actually like you to being together." Jughead said. I smiled. "Thanks." I said. "It's not like it's love." Kevin said walking by with Moose. I laughed. "Is everybody here now?" Betty asked.
J: I guess so
A: Should hang out sometime like watch a movie or soemthing.
I nodded.
V: Yea, we can do that, but when?
B: We can do it next weekend. At my house.
J: That's fine with me
B: Archie?
A: Huh? Oh yea. That's good.
He seemed to distracted. I didn't bother asking why... for now.
About twenty minutes later Jughead left. Betty leaned over and whispered soemthing in my ear. "Maybe we should go to." I smiled and bit my lower lip a little.
A: I'm gonna go. I need to do this thing.
He said and left.
"Okay we can go." I told her. We got up and I looked back at Kevin who was watching. He smiled like he knew what was happening. I shrugged like I had no idea what he was thinking.
We went to her house as fast as we could. As soon as we got inside she pushed me against the wall. She kissed me. She started to unzip my dress. It fell to the ground and she pulled me over to the couch. She kissed me again and slowly spit her hand in my underwear. She slowly started to rub my clit. I let our small moans.
(Again, to lazy to write and I'm surrounded by lots of family to so Uhh yea)
