the last leaves of autumn
fluttered in the breeze
they desperately tried to cling to the branches
i find myself among them
desperately trying to cling to my heart
while my brain lashes
then, the last foothold breaks
and I'm holding on to nothing
blowing away in the breeze
definitely not at ease
