First things first:
DRUGS, ALCOHOL, JUULING, VAPING, SMOKING, ETC. ARE
NOT
AESTHETIC
OR
COOL.
I can't believe the ignorance and, dare I say, stupidity behind it. For starters, I heard some of my classmates who are in sports and had pretty good grades talking about how their parents need to chill because vaping "actually isn't that bad." They were convinced that what they were doing was totally fine and didn't have any consequences whatsoever.
I may not be a doctor, but I understand that inhaling nicotine isn't healthy in any way, shape, or form.
There are arguments that vaping helps get smokers off cigarettes and stuff, which is partially true (I have a friend whose parents are quitting smoking use vapes). However, vapes and juuls are not even marketed towards adults who would be using them to quit smoking. What adult would be attracted to cotton candy-flavored juuls? They smoke cigarettes, and those things are disgusting.
And my next point, which I mentioned at the beginning: juuling is not aesthetic, cool, artistic, or whatever else you want to call it. It's damaging your body. It's interfering with your still-developing brain. It's ruining your lungs. It's messing up your cognitive abilities. Vaping or juuling can literally impact your learning, since the vast majority of people using juuls and vapes are either in middle school or high school. If you're a GenZ kid, then your mental state is probably not at its peak already, but vaping or juuling will make it even worse. Have you guys heard of psychosis?
I don't know all the nitty gritty stuff when it comes to the physical and mental effects juuling and vaping has, but I strongly encourage you all to get more educated about this. Dr. Mike on YouTube has a great video about vaping and its detrimental effects. He's an actual doctor who can actually intelligently speak on this subject.
