Jaime Criss was perfectly content with continuing her job as a highly-respected music producer and going home every night to her husband. She felt as if she belonged behind the soundboard, doing the audio engineering she studied for years after highschool. But if anyone knows how quickly your life can change, it's Jaime. When Mike Hanlon calls her one day, only a month away from her fortieth birthday, she blames the fact that she can barely remember him on a severe car crash she experienced fifteen years prior. Head trauma, the doctors would say. But she had already endured years of therapy and memory regaining exercises. So it just doesn't make sense as to why she can remember everything after moving to New York in 1992, but absolutely nothing prior.
What also doesn't make sense is the rush of fear that blossomed deep within her body when Mike told her to return to Derry.
