Ethan called me over to go to his house because he wanted to talk so I agreed
I had no clue why he wanted to talk but it made me a little scared
I arrive at his house and open the door with the keys he gave me
" hey ethan " I smiled hugging him
" hey y/n , sit down . I wanna talk about something " he told me
I nod and sit down next to him turning my body to face his as he started speaking
" y/n I don't know how to tell you this . You've been the best thing that's ever happened to me and you always lift me up when I'm down . You're beautiful, funny , loving and caring . Anyone would be lucky to be with you. But I don't know how our relationship could continue . Y/n we've got different lives , we live in different states , we have different futures meaning different schools and universities. I don't want to leave you but there's no other choice . Life is getting too hard trying to see you in person and I know we've been doing long distance relationship for a long time but it'll get harder once we go into the future . I'd love to be friends and not loose you in my life because my life is so much better with you in it " ethan said
I sighed and nodded
" I understand. Of course we can be friends, I don't want to loose you too " I told him
He smiled at me
" could I get one last kiss " he asked
I smiled at him with love and leaned in connecting our lips
It would be hard to leave him but it's what's best for us
