Priscilla let her eyes drift, watching the couples leaning into each other as everyone swayed to the song. It was a slow one this time.
She could feel how Fezco tensed up at the change of genre, anxiety radiating off of him.
"It's okay," she told him, letting out a laugh as she held out her hand towards him. He hesitated before pulling her into him as his hands slowly trailed down her hips. He rested his head next to hers, which peacefully laid on his chest. He couldn't help but to let his hands drop to her lower back to her butt, making sure to grab a fistful of her skin. Priscilla didn't say anything, just secretly smiled as she watched the couples around them.
From the corner of her eye, she saw Cassie and McKay, which oddly, made her smile widen. Fez dropped his neck lower, his mouth next to the girl's ear. The feeling of his breath made chills crawl down Priscilla's spine.
"When are you going to stop playing with me?" He questioned, his voice monotone and serious. It wasn't like the times he would jokingly ask her when she would let him take her on a date or let him make her his wife. It was like he wanted a genuine answer. But, Priscilla being Priscilla, she couldn't give him that yet.
She let her eyes close, enjoying the feeling of rocking back and forth with him, it calmed her nausea, "I have no idea what you're talking about."
Fezco took a deep breath, pulling her close and his grip on her lower body tightening, "I don't want anyone else having you, you know that."
Priscilla chuckled, backing away from his chest, looking up at him, "What makes you think anyone has had me?"
"People talk, Priscilla," he said, licking his lips as his eyes met hers.
"And do you believe what they say?"
"Nah."
"Good."
Priscilla knew she had feelings for him, she knew that she'd imagine herself being with Fez but she never actually thought about it happening. It couldn't happen. She was still in high school, he had dropped out, she was sixteen with judgmental parents, he was a twenty year old drug dealer. She loved the way she felt around him but Priscilla knew she would never get anywhere by being with Fez. He didn't have a "real" job, and his income was obtained illegally. They probably would never get married, or have kids. Priscilla didn't know why she was even thinking of all of this right now. She wondered if he thought the same when he saw her, about the future that they could have together, or if he never expected it to go that far. Priscilla pushed those thoughts down, like she normally did. She cleared her throat, which was now dry.
"Fez?" She asked, her voice soft and innocent.
"What's up?"
"The night of the carnival," she started, moving her head into his shoulder, "did you like it?"
"I'm guessing you mean kissing you," he rested his chin on top of her head.
"Yeah."
He lightly shrugged, "It didn't count. You were high."
"We still kissed," she argued.
"Nah, the night of that party last summer, you were drunk. The carnival, you were high. Those never count to me."
"Because I wasn't sober?" Priscilla asked.
Fez nodded, "I'll know you're serious if you can do the same when you're not fucked up."
