I got up before Alfred and went to the bathroom. After we both got ready, he took me out to a place called Golden Corral. I had pancakes, eggs, hash browns, with brownies and ice cream for dessert. After breakfast, we went back to Alfred's house and I packed up my car. Once it was all packed, I hug my brother and say my goodbyes. "It's been great seeing you, Alfred. I'll miss you." "I'll miss you too, bro." I could have sworn I saw a tear fall from his eye. I knew he would miss me more than he let on, but I will miss him just the same. I got in my car and started back on my long drive home. When I got home, Alfred texted me.
Alfred: Did you make it home safely?
Me: yeah
Alfred: good.
I think he really missed me, because when I was about to call him, he was already calling me. And he called me once a month, every month, from now on. I'm glad he remembers me again.
