قــــال كــــم عمــــرك وقلـــت العمـــر زايــــد

قلــــت لــــك عمــــري ميــــة مـــرّه واعيـــده
I have told you oh! my love, 100 times and I repeat it
كـــــان عمـــــر الشـــــاعر بحســـــب القصــــايد
The love of a poet is being considered by the poems
يعـتــــــــبر عمــــــــري ثـلاثمـيــــــــة قصـــــــيده
Thus, my love is considered as 300 poems
واعتبـــــــــرني مــــــــن موالــــــــيد الفــــــــرايد
And from my birth, I am considered as the incomparable unique
مــــــن بنــــــات الفكــــــر جــــــابتني فريـــــده
Among the creative girls, she brought me her precious gem
فــــــي سمــــــا الأشــــــعار بالإبـــــداع رايـــــد
In the sky of poetry with examplary creativities
شــــــاعرٍ يســــــمو الـــــى الابـــــداع سيـــــده
She is a poet who honors her creative master
والقـديــــــــم ألـــــــــذ ، لكـــــــــنّ الجــــــــدايد
And the previous (poems) are delightful, but the the new (poems)..
تحيـــــي الميّـــــت مـــــن الشــــوق وتعيــــده
enliven the dead from the longing and she revived him
فــــي حياتــــه مــــا يعـــرف الســـيف سايـــد
In her life she does not know the sword of the leaders
المغـــــــــامر لحظــــــــته عنـــــــده سعيــــــــده
The moments of adventures for her is happiness
وفِــــي رقبــــة المجــــد علّــــق لــــه قلايــــد
And at the honoured neck hanged for her the necklace
صـــــــــورةٍ مرســــــــومه بســــــــبّابة أيــــــــده
A painting drawn by the finger of her hand
وان عشــــق مــــا يعشــــق الا كــــل كايـــد
And if she longs, she would not longs except with all of her ingenuity
جــــــارحٍ مـــــا ينكــــــف الاّ معـــــه صيـــــده
The wound does not stop her unless she fulfilled the quest
وانــــت يــــاللي فــــي بنـــات الغيـــد قايـــد
And you, Oh! the one who is the leader among the affectionate girls
هـــــل تحيـــــد الوصـــــل وإلاّ مـــــا تحيـــــده

فــــي وطــــن زايـــد وشـــوق القلـــب زايـــد
In the Zayed country, the longing in heart is increasing
عِـــــد ســـــؤالك والجـــــواب احنـــــا نعيـــــده
