Chapter 7: The pig sty

“Why can’t we have pizza!” Will asked, Eumillia was still in a shock state.

“Yes let’s call the pizza guy. Hello, I would like 13 pizzas delivered to somewhere in the ocean, but please don’t tell the police about us! Idiot!” Shën said and Christophe began laughing in his chair.

“And while you are at it could you send your hottest chick, because I am the best at picking up chicks I mean did you see the girl I had with me last night… oh, wait I didn’t have a girl last night, or the night before that, or the night before that!” Will countered and this send Christophe of the chair onto the floor. Shën threw what looked like a cabbage head at Will, which he countered with a knife, slicing it in half. Then he threw one of the pieces at Shën but it spiralled of course and landed on the laughing Christophe who got up and joined the food fight, Dmitri who was examining his braces soon joined the fight as well.

Jun and Tak were standing in the corner “discussing” things, as Tak couldn’t response verbally only with signs. They didn’t care about anything, not even all the food that went to waste. There were tomatoes, potatoes, pork chops, and even a knife here and there in the air, and nobody gave a damn that their prisoner was just sitting on the floor unwatched.

Eumillia finally mustered up enough courage to run for the door. If she could just get to the ship she might have a chance at getting out, but which way was the ship, it rained to much outside for her to see which direction she needed to go in. So she just ran for the first door she saw and found herself on a rainy overflowing bridge. This is a mistake, she thought to herself as she crossed the bridge, slipping a couple hundred times, but I have to get out of this madhouse.

She reached the other side of the bridge and saw the ship was two boxes to the left. So she just had to get through two boxes to get there. She entered the first box and was not ready for the sight. As she entered she heard snakes hiss at her, and the room was dark, lit up by nothing but candles. The walls were filled with bottles with all sorts of entrails and liquids and as she scanned the walls she found the source of the hissing before, a snake was making its way towards her.

“What are you doing here?!” a voice asked and her eyes met the snakes gaze. Her powers did not affect animals so she could freely look into its eyes. Did it talk? She wondered as she backed.

“I asked you a question girl.” A voice was heard again but it came from a different place then before. She followed the voice but there was nothing.

“I wonder, are you mute?” the voice asked as it travelled right in front of her. Suddenly a wall of smoke appeared before her and out came hundreds of snakes all snapping at her. She hated snakes, one of her many phobias. She screamed and the wall disappeared just as quickly as it came and behind it was a man.

He was dark skinned, a very nice mahogany colour, his skin perfectly coloured. He had tattoos all the way from his left shoulder to his right fingertip, but they blended in so beautifully with his skin.

He was tall, taller than any of the other men had been and he was stunning. Except for the fact that his face was painted like a skull. But behind the paint lay a beauty without compare. He jaw was strong yet subtle, his eyes were harsh, yet sweet, and they were blue, light blue, making him seem almost ghostly as he stood there in front of her.

He long hair had a mixture of dreadlocks and straight beautiful dark brown, it was tied back in a loose ponytail but some of it was encircling his face. He came closer and Eumillia had to bite her lip, in need for something to do other than to stare.

“The snakes find you weird, why is that?” he asked his dark voice matching his complexion. Eumillia had never seen a man this handsome. His jacket was made of fur, but one of the arms was ripped of showing his muscly arms and his beautiful tribal tattoos.

“Oh my you look ill dear!”

Don’t call me dear, she thought, I might come! She giggled at her thought, but it might prove to be true if he did not stop his teasing.

“Stop!” she said as he itched closer to her.

“What?” he asked surprised by the fact that she could talk.

“Please stop.” She said, he too tried to make eye contact with her, to no avail.

“Doesn’t look people in the eyes!” he said as he drew out a small book and began scribbling stuff down.

“Frail, seems to be out of shape.. no she is in shape her muscular structure seems trained in certain places indicating training in one martial art, maybe more.” He stated as he wrote it down, eyeing her from time to time.

“Do you have regular menstruation?” he asked and she was taken aback by the question.

“Yes?” she said and he made a sound indicating his understanding.

“Do you ever experience light-headedness or hot flashes while having intercourse?” he asked, she didn’t answer.

“Virgin I see!” he said as the door flew open and she was greeted with arms holding her down.

“There you are.” Shën stated he face was covered in tomato sauce.

“I found her” she was still in shock. She looked at the doctor who was still scribbling. He looked at her and then at his page again.

“Don’t worry!” he said with compassion in his eyes “Doctor-patient confidentiality!” he said and helped her up on her feet. His eyes were gentle as he helped her up but she could now feel something she hadn’t before because of all the adrenaline coursing through her veins. She had fatigue, severely. She hadn’t eaten or slept in more than 24 hours and it was crashing down upon her now. He managed to scoop her up into his arms like he already knew she was going to pass out. She heard Jun enter the room yelling at her before the world turned black.

“Impressive, she seems to have held on longer than I would anticipate from a girl of her height and form!” Narum said. He looked at the frail girl in his arms. She was very small in his large arm. So she was the siren, he thought to himself as he put her down on his examining table.

“She needs warm clothing, and she needs it now!” he said and he heard Will running out the room. Will was lighter on his feet than the others.

“Is she going to be okay?” Jun asked, and Narum was surprised by his sudden show of emotions.

“I mean I cannot sell a broken doll can I?” he said and edged closer to the girl. Her hair was sticking to her face, he noticed a certain redness on her chin and as he examined it he found she had gotten a large knock upon it.

“Yeah, she fell in the bar she worked at…twice!” Jun said and Narum swore he saw him smile for a second, but he turned and began exiting the room.

“Fix her, the first conference call is tomorrow, and she needs to be ready!” he said as he slammed the door shut.

“I cannot fix something that is this broken!” Narum simply replied.

Eumillia woke up and the first thing she noticed was the fact that she was warm, her cloth had been drenched a moment before but now they were dry. She ran a hand along her stomach and found that it was bare.

So her hands flew to her breast, luckily they were covered by a sports bra, her hands then reached her hip area and this was covered as well. A pair of fresh pants covered her legs, she touched the fabric and deduced that it was leather. She was glad she was covered but then a thought appeared and she flew up.

Who had changed her clothes? She felt dizzy when she sat up in a bolt.

“Relax I am a professional I did not look any place inappropriate!” The doctor from before stated.

“Yeah but I am not and I have to say, nice tits baby!” Shën said from the corner of the bed. He was sitting his hands between his legs, swinging his legs back and forth like a school girl. He was grinning at her. Her eyes flew to him and without thinking about it her hand bolted into a fist and it collided with his groin sending him to the floor groaning in pain. Narum who had been out came back with a pack of ice, which he threw at Shën.

“Good girl!” he said and smiled at her.

“I should be doing it to you too you know!” she stated.

“As I said before I am a professional, I do not care how good you ‘tits’ are!” he said and began mixing some stuff into a bowl. Shën was making painful noises as he placed the ice on his soar nuts.

“Girl can pack a punch!” he said his voice 3 pitched higher than usual.

She wanted to laugh but she couldn’t, instead tears began streaming out of her eyes. The doctor came to her with a napkin as if he had foreseen that she would cry.

“What are you going to do with me?” she asked the tears rolling in thick streams, she looked at the doctor and then at Shën. They both looked back with compassion in their eyes, but they both remained silent.

“Nothing right now, except for offering you dinner!” he said and held his hand out, she stepped off the table and made her way for the door. Yesterday had started so nicely and now she was in the middle of the ocean with a bunch of men who didn’t believe in the concept of shirts, who wanted to something with her which none would explain to her.

The sun was setting in the horizon, they were in the eyes of the storm, everything was dry. And even though the sun was covered by thunderclouds, the boxes and the cube were covered in orange light.

“Come quickly before we move out of the eye!” Shën said.

“That’s the only female clothes we have so don’t get it wet.” He continued. Will was standing in the door up ahead with a melancholic expression on his face. As he noticed Eumillia his eyes became sadder. In the cube a voice was heard.

“You promised me payment if I told you where she was.” The voice was very familiar to Eumillia, she began speeding her steps.

“And I gave you the money!” Jun said.

“I don’t want you money I want to cure as you promised.” She yelled, and Eumillia was certain and as she entered the cube the tears thickened even more.

“No…no…no!” She said as she fell to her knees.

“Not you… Andrea!” she said as she saw her friend standing with Jun.
