On the Isle~
The adventure kids were with Mal and the others, picking up the new VKs.
Smee hugged and kissed his twin boys goodbye as it was time for them to go.
"Alright, boys" Jay told the twins, taking one of them. "Let's hit the road"
"You're gonna see him soon, okay?" Carlos told the other twin as he took him.
Everyone was packing up everything while the new VKs said goodbye to their families.
"You guys ready?" Ciara asked her sisters.
"Yes! More than anything!" Celia replied eagerly.
"Can we hurry it along, please?" Cynthia asked the others, wanting to get off the Isle as soon as possible. The other adventure kids rolled their eyes to their cowardly fashionista friend.
"Okay, everyone" Kali told the gang as it was now time for them to go.
"Let's go and do this" Ben smiled to the gang.
Everyone soon got in the limo and started to leave while the crowd cheered and waved goodbye to them.
"You guys are going to love Auradon" Ann smiled, telling the new VKs.
Evie and Dizzy were soon talking about how she'd have to try everything once they got to Auradon, like eating ice cream and go swimming. The two friends squealed in excitement.
Carlos offered one of the twins some chocolate while the other was up front with David and Jay, just starring out at the road looking a bit nervous.
"Great grip" Jay said while the twin was holding tightly onto his arm while he was driving.
"You play sports?" David then asked the twin.
Ciara was sitting in the back with her sisters, Mal, Ben and the others.
"So I seriously have to take a class called Remedial Goodness?" Freddie asked her sister and the rest of the gang.
"Yep," Evie nodded.
"There's a two hour exam about smiling" Ciara added to her sister.
"No!" Freddie said in shock.
"Smiling's super important in Auradon" Teeders informed Dr Facilier's more mischievous daughter.
Celia was then showing her deck of cards to Ben, waiting for him to choose one. Ben took a card before giving it back to Celia while she did her magic.
"You're going to be a wise and brave King" She predicted with a smile.
"He already is" Mal told Celia while leaning in close to her boyfriend.
"See? The cards never lie" Celia smirked, before holding out her hand.
Ben soon realized what Celia wanted and took out his wallet, giving her a dollar bill which made her beam.
"That's my little sis" Ciara smiled to Celia proudly.
Meanwhile, back in Auradon~
Ari was with her family, all smiling in happiness as they were watching the big TV screen with the rest of the cheering crowd while the event unfolded.
"The only reason they should be opening that barrier is for putting Uma back in," Queen Leah huffed. "Not letting more villains out"
The adventure kids smiled, happy to have new VKs finally getting the chance to come to Auradon. Everything was going so well...
But then suddenly, right before the barrier closed, a certain blue fire haired villain ran out from the crowd and punched his hand through the barrier, trying to escape.
"It's Hades!" Brock gasped, while the rest of the gang turned back around in shock.
"Stop the car. He's trying to escape!" Teeders yelped.
The gang got out of the limo to see Hades trying to escape from the barrier. Ciara protectively stood in front of her sisters while they saw Hades's hair burst into flames.
"I AM A GOD!" He shouted in fury. "I DON'T BELONG HERE!"
The boys ran towards Hades to try and stop him, but he shot them all down with this weird sorta ember. Cynthia yelped in fear like a coward once that happened.
Mal looked shocked to Hades while he grinned wickedly. The purpler haired girl's eyes soon started glowing green, before she transformed into her dragon form.
"Take him down!" Kali ordered the others while glaring at Hades, before she and the girls were about to charge towards him, wanting to help.
"Guys, stay back!" Evie stopped them though as it was dangerous.
Mal roared as she tried to blast Hades, but he struck her with the ember again.
Back in Auradon~
All the Auradon citizens were watching in horror on the TV, as Mal was struggling to fight against Hades.
Olaf screamed in panic once he saw dragon Mal fighting Hades and hid behind Sven.
"Do not panic!" Fairy Godmother told the crowd.
"Everybody, please remain calm" Elsa added, taking charge.
"There's your precious queen," Audrey told everyone. "She can't even protect us!"
"Okay. We're panicking" Fairy Godmother told the crowd before she ran off. "Bippity-boppity run!"
Everyone then all scream and ran around in all the chaos, except for Ari's family.
"Everyone, please! Don't panic!" Ari tried taking charge, but no one would listen as they all continued screaming and running like crazy chickens with their heads cut off.
Back with the battle~
"Come on, Mal! Blast him!" Jay, Brock and David all called out.
But Mal continued to struggle as she was being weakened by Hades's ember.
Watching her friends get blast by Hades, especially Carlos, really triggered Ciara as her eyes glowed purple and dark flames started flickering around her.
Ciara helped Mal by using her shadow powers. While Hades was distracted fighting Mal, Ciara blasted the demon with her powers, sending him tumbling back into the Isle while the barrier finally closed. Hades looked to Ciara in surprise while she gave a threatening glare to him.
Mal then came back down to the ground, transforming back while appearing weak. Ben, Evie and the others all rushed over to her side in concern.
"Are you okay?" The adult adventure kids asked Mal.
"No" She replied weakly. "He was draining all of my magic with that ember, and I felt all of my powers slipping away"
"You're safe" Evie assured her best friend. "He's back where he belongs"
Hades glowered at the gang before storming off, while everyone else on the Isle fled away from him in fear.
"Yeah, for now..." Mal said, finally catching her breath.
"Let's get out of here" Kali suggested to the gang.
Everyone then all got back into the limo, before heading back to Auradon...
That evening~
Ari was back in her dorm room to get some rest, after all that chaos earlier today.
She had been thinking a lot about what her family said earlier about her soon becoming queen of Arendelle.
It's not that she didn't want to make her family proud, it's just that... the young fiery princess had been questioning herself a lot lately if she was ready to take this next stage in her life. With all these new responsibilities, she wasn't sure she'd even become a good leader.
All the pressure was almost too much. Her family did say though she'd have help ruling.
Ari remembered though how the adventure kids had always told her with the special abilities she had, that's what made her so 'Unique'. Then Ari remembered some life teachings Elsa had taught her back when she was younger.
"With great power, comes great responsibility..." Ari heard those words from Elsa echo through her head.
Ari knew her family loved her very much, especially Elsa. Ari had always looked up to her aunt and preferred her company more than anyone else's, as she knew she could tell the ice queen anything. Plus Elsa helped Ari learn to control her fire powers since the beginning.
But what was her destiny really? She already knew she was a protector of the Enchanted Forest after defeating this dark force. The curious young fire princess was trying to figure out, was there something more? More than to what everyone else expected her to be?
She started to wonder if she was truly ready to become queen. But once she'd be ready to finally become queen, would her family be ready to let her rule?...
Ari sighed before she soon started singing to herself...
"Could I be more than I am? Cause I'm sure I do my best. What they cannot do, I can..."
"Well, more or less..."
"You see I'm bigger than I look, despite what others say. I'll show them all someday!~"
"Give me the chance to prove that I can and I will never lose cause I am, READYYY!"
"Why are you always holding me back? Is it because you're scared that I am, READYYY?!"
"Oh it's my time, soon everyone will see this star shine~"
"It's like I'm chasing my own tail. Feels like nothing's there. Are you wanting me to fail? Or do you really care? I don't need what you call help, I can do this on my own~"
"If you hadn't noticed, I have grown!~"
"Give me the chance to prove that I can and I will never lose cause I am, READYYY!"
"Why are you always holding me back? Is it because you're scared that I am, READYYY?!"
"I'll turn stumbling blocks into steps. Look at these mighty muscles flex. I will hop over your blockade. So why do you rain on my parade?"
"I'm READYYY!"
"....I'm so ready~"
Ari was soon brought out of her fantasy and back into reality, as she looked confident now to tell her aunt...
"I'm ready, Aunt Elsa...."
