Their intense romance was disturbed by a knock on the door.
Nandini nervously pushed Manik who was on top of her, kissing her shoulders passionately.
Manik looked at her irritatingly and said-
"What why did you push me?"
Nandini zipped her dress and said-
"There's someone at the door, I heard a knock Manik."
Manik mentally cursed the person who knocked and wore his shirt back. Nandini opened the door only to found Kabir standing.
Nandini nervously fumbled and said-
"Kabir we were just coming Umm actually we Umm just..."
Kabir laughed seeing her nervous and said-
"Chill I know that you guys were doing something really really important!"
Manik punched him playfully and said-
"Couldn't you wait fir 5 more minutes!"
Kabir- "Oh shut up Manik and quickly come down everyone's looking for you!"
Nandini dragged Manik downstairs who was least interested in going down because what he'd been doing seemed more interesting to him.
Nandini- "Stop pouting Manik!"
Manik- "Okay fine but promise me after this you and me once againnnn..."
Nandini- "Shut up Manik!"
Manik giggled seeing her irritated.
The cocktail was in full swing. Navya and Alya came up to them with vodka glasses.
Alya- "C'mon guys! Gulp it down!"
Navya- "Shots! Shots! Shots!"
Nandini first hesitated but then gave in. She gulped it down in a guy.
Kabir- "Manik and vodka? No way! My boy will drink tequila!"
Manik- "Yeah why not!"
Manik and Kabir gulped down tequila shots.
Alya-
"Okay guys lets go to the backyard and let's play a dare game! What say?"
Everyone agreed as the idea seemed thrilling.
They sat on the grass at the backyard of the venue. Manik and Nandini sat opposite to each other and Alya and Navya sat beside while Nandini.
Navya-
"Okay so I will roll this beer bottle, if the cap points towards you then you have to give a dare to the person and if the end points towards you then you have to complete the dare."
Nandini- "Okay cool! I'll spin the bottle first."
Nandini spinned the bottle, the end pointed towards Navya while the cap towards Kabir.
Kabir- "Ooooo! So Navya I dare you to slap Nandini right now."
Navya- "What the hell Kabir how can I slap my best friend!"
Kabir- "A dare is a dare Navya!"
Navya and Nandini got up and stood in the middle of the circle that they'd formed.
Manik worriedly said-
"Don't slap her too hard Navya! Okay?"
Alya teased Manik and said-
"Ooooo... so someone is worried I see!"
Manik- "Shut up Alya!"
Navya slapped Nandini not too hard but it did prick her cheek.
"Ouch!" exclaimed Nandini touching her cheek.
Manik quickly got up and patted Nandini's cheek.
Manik-
"Is it paining? Should we go inside? Should I get some ointment?"
Nandini-
"Oh god Manik stop panicking I'm alright! Oh gosh, love why do you worry so much?"
Manik sat on his spot. Kabir spinned the bottle this time and the cap pointed towards him and the end towards Nandini.
Kabir laughed and said- "Aww... Poor Nandini I'll not give an easy one!"
Nandini pouted sadly.
Kabir- "You gotta sit on Manik's lap for good ten minutes and whisper something really sexy in his ears and no cheating okay?"
Nandini's cheeks flushed pink as she heard the dare. She was way too shy to go and sit on his lap in front of everyone.
Manik naughtily grinned as this was like his dream come true. He glanced at Kabir and passed on a mental thanks for fulfilling his heart's dare.
Nandini got up and sat on his lap. Butterflies started jumping inside her tummy as the lower half of her body brushed against Manik's lap. Nandini turned facing Manik while still sitting on his lap.
Nandini whispered in his ears-
"Umm what should I say? Okay so I love you!"
Manik burst out laughing. Nandini had to say something sexy but instead she cutely said I love you.
Kabir- "Why are you laughing Manik? What sexy line made you laugh so hard?"
Manik who was still laughing like anything said-
"No I can't tell you!"
Nandini got up from his lap and now the bottle was spun again and now it was Alya's turn to give a dare to Kabir.
Alya- "Okay Kabir go and kiss the next person that comes in front of you!"
Kabir- "Umm okay?"
Everyone looked towards the main door to see who was coming.
A little girl around six years of age dressed in a cute frock was joyously running.
Kabir lifted her in his arms and gently kissed her chubby cheeks.
Manik- "She's so adorable!"
Nandini- "I swear she's so cute!"
The girl giggled as Kabir kissed her and ran away.
Now the bottle spinned and it was Navya's turn to give a dare to Manik!
Navya- "What were you guys doing exactly that you didn't come out of the room since so long? Be honest okay?!"
Manik naughtily smiled looking at Nandini and said-
"Umm we were making out in the room!"
Nandini's eyes widened as she saw everyone giggling looking at her. She covered her face in embarrassment.
Manik laughed seeing her embarrassed.
Navya- "Ahem! Ahem! I see"
Nandini- "Okay enough of this game I'm going to sleep."
Nandini hurriedly ran away. Everyone laughed seeing her run away.
Nandini changed into her night suite and blushed remembering today's incident. Her heart was filled with utmost joy. The bridal glow was emitting from her face. The blush wasn't leaving her face.
Manik too was in his room and just couldn't stop remembering Nandini's cute antics. The way she said I love you instead of saying something sexy and the way she ran away being embarrassed. Why so cute Miss. Murthy?

The next morning
It was their haldi ceremony today. Chachi and Chacha were busy in preparations.
The ceremony was to take place at Nandini's house.
Chachi- Put these yellow flowers on the table na please Navya till then I'll get the haldi.
Navya- "Yes sure Chachi"
Alya and Kabir were busy with Chacha helping him with some other arrangements.
Manik arrived with his dad and was greeted by Chachi and Chacha.
Manik hadn't told anything about Nyonika and Dhruv to his dad He thought it's better as it would make things more complicated.
Chachi- "Welcome Mr.Malhotra please come in!"
Manik touched their feet and entered the venue. As everyone was busy with preparations Manik quickly sneaked into Nandini's room.
Nandini was getting ready. She wore a white plain lehenga with flower embroidery and a matching yellow blouse. Her curves were getting highlighted perfectly. She didn't look less than a Greek goddess!
Manik knocked. Nandini opened it thinking it was Navya.
Nandini was shocked as she Manik. She closed the door but Manik manages to slip in.
Nandini- "What are you doing Manik? Get out!"
Manik-
"Oooo... Why? I'm your would-be-husband. I've full rights to enter your room!"
Before Nandini could interrupt Manik pinned her to the nearby wall.
Manik nuzzled inside the corner of her neck and whispered-
"My girl is the prettiest I swear!"
Nandini giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Nandini- "And my boy is the hottest!"
Manik slipped his hands on her bare waist and said-
"Really? Okay let me slip some hotness into you too."
Manik bit Nandini's neck making her wither in pleasure. Manik roamed his tongue over the bite to soothe it. Nandini clutched his hair tightly.
The door flung open and Chachi entered.
Nandini pulled Manik inside the washroom hurriedly.
Nandini- "What the hell! Why didn't you lock the door!"
Manik casually shrugged his shoulders and said-
"No one wants me to spend some time with you! Everyone disturbs me!"
Nandini- "Shut up an think what do we do now?"
Chachi- "Nandini are you inside the washroom? Come out fast! I need some help!"
They looked at each other nervously wondering how to escape without letting Chachi know?
