Who's waking up to drive you home when you're drunk and all alone?
It ain't me !
I had a dream,
We were back to seventeen.
Summer nights and The Libertines.
Never growing up.
I'll take with me,
The Polaroids and the memories.
But you know I'm gonna leave,
Behind the worst of us .

Chapter 3 : IZZY?!
ISABELLA'S POV
Everyone's eyes are on my 'not so stable' state!
Ben chirps, " I was waiting for that !"
Which makes Royal shout instantly,
" That would be enough Ben!"
I couldn't hold it in anymore, so I ran away from there.
Luckily there weren't many students around to embarrass myself any more but that was the least of my concerns right now!
I went inside the washroom and looked at the mess, oh right,
that would be me!
I sat on the freaking floor and wept!
How can he ??
I thought over and over again!
That's when the door opened and
the devil himself appeared in front of my teary eyes!
" It's girls' washroom "
" That's the first thing you say after
all this? ",
he said and locked the door
I just backed away.
" Izzy ?" He says, how can his voice be so calm in a situation like this!
" Don't you dare call me that!!"
My sudden outburst makes him sigh.
He whispers,
" Trust me, I didn't know that it was you "
" Trust me, I didn't know as well! "
I was controlling it but couldn't. Tears, they ran down my cheeks involuntarily.
His accent, it seemed like he has adapted to the one here. That's why I couldn't figure it out myself.
My voice, let's just say, he didn't recognized it that day.
He came closer and I pushed him, once, twice, thrice!
I realised he wasn't retaliating so I stopped eventually.
" Izzy, you done?"
" I hate you Royal ", I wiped my tear away because, at this moment, he doesn't even deserve them.
" Don't say that "
" You are someone else! Who are you?
I know you are just some unholy spirit trapped in Royal's body! "
"Isabella"
" You are not my Royal ", I said and broke down again!
" Stop crying Izzy for god's sake! "
" Stop calling me that!
You don't deserve to call me that anymore "
" I am sorry " he mumbled
" I never would have imagined that my best friend .. oops sorry!
my 'ex-best friend' would bully others .. let alone 'me'!
You know .. what's worse?
That you have freaking changed !"
"I know ", he sighed yet again
*bang bang*
" Royal you in there? I saw you getting in ", a girl shouted from outside
" You know what?
Let's just pretend we were never even best friends in the first place,
won't that be best for both of us ?" ,
I said with a heavy heart!
He opened the door without even replying.
I admit I was expecting something along the line,
' We can't just avoid each other's existence , you mean a lot more to me than to just pretend as if we are strangers '
" What was it Royal ?
You know her or what ?" , that girl appeared and I noticed she was with Royal when he entered that room .
" Jess , our families are friends! " ,
he said and I got my freaking answer!
" Okay , let's go " she said and they went out , leaving me in my miserable state.
Few girls entered the washroom but knew better than to question me , especially when I also don't even know what the hell just happened!
Did my bestfriend just bullied me ?
- Oh yes , he did !
Is my bestfriend , no longer my bestfriend ?
-That's right !
Am I over reacting ?
-Maybe , maybe not !
Am I hurt ?
-Do you even have to ask ?!
I tried to clean myself a bit and then came out .
I made my way downstairs ,
trying to avoid the stares and the laughter which people tried to hold it in but couldn't .
Around the corner , I spotted Royal's group and him staring at me, it only made me walk even faster .
In no time , I was back to my room , bawling my eyes out yet again .
What the hell is happening?!

After an hour or so, my new friends showed up.
" What the hell Isabella? We looked for you everywhere" , Chris asks .
" Sorry ",I whispered
" You look like a mess ", Harvey said
" Not helping Harv ", Lucy mumbled and sat beside me ,
" Hey , we heard what happened . Sorry we couldn't be there for you "
" It's alright . News travel fast I suppose . Anyways I am fine "
" Yaa ? Fine ?
Have a look at yourself ! ", Chris commented
I just ran a hand over my hair ..
" So ? Is he your Royal ?", Chris asked
" He was " I stated , my voice low .
" Isabella , I told you so .He is not the way he was "
" How do you know how he was ?"
" He was my .. friend here until he decided to join others .
Also he is Patricia's ex , he doesn't even deserve her !
I still remember how he broke her heart ! "
" That's where Chris comes into picture . He was there for her the whole time " Harv cuts Chris off , knowing he could rant about it all day long .
" And finally my clueless best friend understood and they both got together in the second year " ,
Lucy finished , knowing that for some stupid reasons I am the focus of attention and not Chris's gf's ex who may I add is the reason for all hell to break loose!
" So Royal and Patricia dated in the first year itself??", I asked
" Yaa why ?" Harvey asked
" Nothing , just curious "
" Oh okay "
Just curious ? My foot
Here I thought he had feelings for me!
Bestfriends dont kiss each other,
do they ?
I mean unless and until they are FWB , but no , sorry , not interested in being one unless and until I actually love that person and vice versa ..
Anyways , that's not the point !
I thought he also felt something in the end but guess what ?
He just comes here and dates someone he hardly knows and breaks up with her !
In the process , hurts her too...
This is so not Royal!
" Ouch! What was that for ?" I exclaim
" That pinch was for spacing out when we are tryna comfort you " , Chris says
" Thanks guys . I am okay .
I'll just need to clean up "
" If you say so . Take care " Lucy says
" We'll leave soon . You sleep it out " Harv suggests
And I smile at them .
After that , I took a really long cold shower !
With music blasting through my phone and running water to block out my cries .
I'm such a cry baby !!
I wonder what tomorrow's day would be like !
Should I let this go or do something about it ?
I mean I should speak up , right ?
But again , he is..or let's just say he 'was' my best friend...
