***chapter two***
'SHOW LOVE WITH NO REMORSE ' - dosed , red hot chilli peppers .
Baby sighed as the sun light burned her eyes , shuffling in the sheets as she woke up before turning to see matty passed out beside her .
huffing she yanked the covers off her and stood up as she walked into the bathroom to fill up a cup of water as she thought over the hazy memories of what had happened last night .
slash had eventually catched up to her outside as she sat on the front step , realising she had no ride . he had been nice enough to drive her back home , telling her to be safe before giving her his phone number to keep in touch .
baby found him odd , how nice he had been despite the harsh tone she had used with him . she hadn't mean to , but she was high , tired and angry at her boyfriend for leaving her at a party she didn't even want to be at and she had wrongly took it out on him .
making a mental note to call him to apologise as she walked back over to the bed with the cup filled to the brim with cold water in her hand
not hesitating as she threw it at his sleeping face , he awoke with a gasp shooting up with wide eyes as he stared at her shocked
"what the fuck ! are you fucking crazy !" he shouted quickly getting up out the bed as he grabbed a pillow to wipe the water from his eyes .
crossing her arms she glared at him , feeling her anger rising " shut up ! you deserved it for leaving me last night !" she shouted back .
groaning he pushed the hair away from his face before looking at her pleadingly "baby I'm sorr-" he started only to be cut off as she scoffed
"oh you're sorry ? well I'm sorry for even agreeing to go with you , you prick !" she insulted not backing away as he stormed towards her with his nostrils flared .
grabbing her arm he pulled her towards him as he looked down at her " don't fucking call me that ! " he spat tightening his grip.
smirking she tilted her chin up at him "what , prick ? " she rhetorically replied before getting in his face
"prick , prick , prick , prick , prick !" she screamed as he harshly twisted his body and threw her on the bed .
his hands pinning her shoulders down as she laughed hysterically , not finding her funny as he continued to glare at her
" what is wrong with you !" he shook his head , breathing out heavily as he tried to calm himself down .
"you're what's wrong with me ." she muttered back as he twirled a piece of her honey hair around his finger and pulled "ouch !" she slapped his hand away scowling at him .
" i love you ." was all he said as his grip loosened from around her shoulder , leaving a angry red mark that they both ignored .
baby leaned up to kiss him , grinning as she spoke "i know."
slash was at his studio as he fiddled with his guitar , before looking up as his phone rang. huffing he put his guitar down on the black leather couch before getting up and walking over to the phone
picking it up he held it to his ear as he scratched at his stubble , reminding himself to shave later "hello ?" he answered.
"hi , its baby ." she said , as a grin made its way onto his tired face at the sound of her sweet voice .
after dropping her off at her home last night , he had given her his number on the off chance she might call , not believing that she would actually call him . i mean , why would she ?
"hey baby ." it felt weird saying her name , seeing as it was usually a nickname used as a term of endearment for someone you loved "what's up ?" he asked curiously .
humming, baby leaned against the island in her kitchen as she picked at her cuticles "i just wanted to apologise for being such a bitch last night ." she replied honestly , feeling uncomfortable seeing as phone calls weren't really her thing .
she preferred one on one , where she could actually see someone's expression to what she was saying .
laughing he walked over to his couch to sit down again " don't worry about it , you made up with your boyfriend?" he asked remembering the man who had asked for his help .
giggling she nodded , peering over through the door of her bedroom as matty slept soundlessly after there multiple rounds of fucking . angry sex , was the best sex in her opinion .
"yeah , we're good ." she said , before silence took over the line neither of them knowing what to say next .
clearing his throat he looked down at his guitar , an idea coming to his mind as he sat up excited "hey , are you working on any new material lately ?" he tried , biting his lip .
frowning she thought back to all the songs she had in her notebook that had yet to be made , seeing as she couldn't figure out the right melody she wanted them in , it had been frustrating her to no end
having hit a creative block in her music , she wanted something different to the last album but what ?
"yeah I'm actually working on a new album ." she found herself telling him " I've just been real stuck on what to do for some of the songs , I've got lyrics but that's about it." she sighed .
a grin making its way onto his face as he spoke "how about i help you ?" he suggested plucking a string as she paused
" i mean , I've got nothing going on at the moment and I've got some good riffs that could be used. if that's any help ." he offered hoping she would say yes.
baby bit her lip as she thought it over , feeling her heart beat pick up at the thought of working with slash .
she had always adored his solos in guns n roses , he was one of the best guitarists in the world ! of course she wanted to work with him .
"really ?" she beamed , feeling like a child as she pressed a hand to her cheeks happily "i would love to ! my studio or yours?"
breathing out he fist bumped the air , silently cheering knowing that if they nailed it right , this could be fucking huge !
slash and baby love collabing ? the world would go crazy .
"is it alright if we work in mine ?" he asked standing up as he stretched his back " its just I've got all my les Pauls here so it would be easier than carrying them back and forth ," he said crossing his fingers .
"of course ! how about right now?" she blurted out before she could stop herself as she squeezed her eyes shut at how desperate she sounded.
chuckling in surprise , he nodded to himself before remembering that she couldn't see him "yeah , yeah that's good . around five? gives me time to get shit ready ."
baby happily agreeing before they said there goodbyes , both excited for what they could produce together .
baby hummed a song loudly to herself as she got ready , throwing on her black studded demin shorts and a plain white vest top with it .
matty watched her from where he was sat against the pillows , feeling a grin tug at his lips at how happy she looked.
he was proud of her for agreeing to work with slash , seeing as she hardly ever worked with anybody . she was a control freak when it came to her music , every song had to be perfect and up to her standards before she could even think about releasing it.
"do you think i did the right thing?" baby worried as she brushed her hair in the mirror , seeing him watching her behind her .
shuffling to the end of the bed he got up and walked over to her wrapping his arms around her neck sluggishly from behind
"of course i do baby , i think this is your best bet ." he told her truthfully " i mean , working with slash ? you cant really get better than that ." he said .
nodding she leaned into him , closing her eyes as he kissed her head
"your right , i don't know why I'm worried." she mumbled as matty walked backwards with her still in his arms as he pulled her back onto the bed.
giggling she sat up as she watched him dig through there bedside draw " what are you doing?"
smirking at her , he pulled out a small baggie full of pills and waved it in front of her
"something to take the edge off." he stated , tipping a yellow and a blue pill onto his palm as he made his way back over to her .
crawling into his lap , she knew the drill as he put both on his tongue and pressed his lips to her , baby sighing as in content as his tongue slid past her bottom lip , feeling the weight of a pill fall into her mouth .
pulling away , she swallowed it dry before pulling his mouth back to hers hearing matty moan as she pushed him back onto the bed and straddled him
"just five more minutes." she mumbled as she began to kiss down his neck , feeling the calming effects of the pill kick in .
