Kim Jisoo (neighbour): I know you can take care of yourself to some extent

Kim Jisoo (neighbour): But look *image attached* they look suspicious right?

Kim Jisoo (neighbour): I called a few friends to play bodyguard in case they act up

Kim Jisoo (neighbour): Knock on my door if they do, okay? Or just scream!

Kim Jisoo (neighbour): We can go somewhere after we dealt with them

Jennie chuckled, reading those messages. She was already parking the car. However her smile fell after she looked at the picture. They did kinda look intimidating. There were nine boys and a woman. They were all beautiful. It's not common that so many people come for her. One person would have been more than enough.

The more she looked at it, the more they looked like a gang led by the woman. What if it's true? What could they want from her? No, no. Jennie is not one to judge like that. She should just confront them. Yep.

Shakily she walked the stairs up, avoiding the elevator. There is no way is she going to use an elevator ever again. The one she was stuck in with Jisoo was out of order.

She intentionally walked slowly, hoping they would be gone by the time she reached them but that was unlikely.

...

"You want us to rough some people up?" Nayeon furrowed her eyebrows. "We are so going to die, you know."

"That's right." Seulgi agreed with her. "We are useless."

"You might be useless but," Jisoo looked like she was thinking of something. As if she spoke before she knew what she was saying, hoping a reason would suddenly come to her mind. "But.... Um, but... But!"

"Great speech Jisoo." Nayeon rolled her eyes. "I think we can totally do it now. Before that speech I felt completely useless like I could get killed but now, after that splendid speech, I feel like I can move mountains."

"But what?" Joohyun frowned. "Say it Jisoo."

A reason finally spoke to her!

"But unnie isn't useless! And neither is Sana!" Jisoo smiled. "So it's okay if everyone else is useless." The raven looked at the blonde. "Back me up Lisa!"

"Jisoo unnie is right!" The blonde stood up. "She might have insulted us and discredited our abilities but she is right! Probably!"

"I think I'm going home." Sana announced and grabbed her jacket.

"No! Don't go!" Jisoo grabbed her arm. "I have cake!"

Sana sighed and sat down. "It better be a good cake."

"It's not," Nayeon responded. "Except if you like burnt cake. She is a master at that."

Jisoo threw her a glare, earning a simple shrug.

"I'm going, after all." Sana was about to open the door when fog was spread everywhere. Seconds later the lights turned off as the curtains were closed and Star Wars music played before a green lightsaber glew in the dark.

"Listen up lesbians!" The lightsaber started to swing around and landed a weak hit on what was probably Sana's head. "Our friend Jisoo needs our help! Isn't that enough reason for us to go to war!?"

"No."

"Of course not."

"Are you stupid?"

"Shut up Dahyun."

Sana grabbed the lightsaber and hit Dahyun's head hard. "Ah! I'm under attack!" Not listening to her Sana kept the hits coming.

Joohyun turned the lights on, making Dahyun who was on the ground with Sana on top of her visible as Seulgi made the music from the phonograph stop. Yeah Jisoo was one of the people who still uses vinyls because she prefers the sound of it.

"This is why I like Dahyun the best." Jisoo declared. "She is the only one who thinks Jisoo lives matter."

"Yah," Lisa gasped dramatically. "I thought I was your best friend!"

"Maybe if you went to war for me." Jisoo folded her arms. "Anyways you guys need to be quiet now. Help me try to hear what they are talking about." Jisoo referred to the room nextdoor. The walls were so thin she could hear them chat.

Lisa pressed her ear against the wall. "I can't make out what they are saying."

"Use this," Dahyun gave her a glass.

"Okay," Lisa filled the glass with water, drank a sip and continued listening. "I still hear nothing."

"The idiocy!" Nayeon grabbed the glass from her and pushed her aside, pressing her ear with the glass against the wall. "....I hear two woman talking."

"Words, Nadong." The girls gathered behind her, kneeling on the floor. "What are they saying?" Jisoo asked.

"Um," Sana spoke up. "Why are we doing this again?"

"Because Jisoo has a crush on her neighbour and wants to make sure her guests don't hurt her." Seulgi explained.

"In other words for no reason, at all." Joohyun stated.

"That's not true." Jisoo pouted. "They could be evil unnie."

"I got it!" Nayeon announced. "Someone said something about killing someone!"

"Killing!?" Jisoo urged Nayeon to keep talking.

"Yes! Um... theft...! They stole... a child!"

"A child!?" Lisa started to become jumpy. "They kill children! Oh my god!"

"Hold on..." Seulgi frowned. "Jisu! Is she safe? They could be after her!"

"Jisoo?" Sana asked quizzical.

"No." Joohyun's eyebrows knitted together. Even she started to worry. "The daughter of her neighbour. A sweet little girl, her name is Jisu."

"It all makes sense now!" Dahyun stood up abruptly, all eyes on her. "You said she is a lawyer right? Those people are trying to hire her. They are a gang of child killers and need someone to defend their crimes!" She concluded. "However the truth is they know she has a daughter and are trying to stall her until she comes home and they can kill her."

"It actually made sense until the last part." Sana shook her head in disagreement.

"Wait..." Jisoo looked at Dahyun. "Jennie is practically a child too!"

Lisa ran to Jisoo's bedroom and brought a baseball bat to them. "We should be equipped--"

"They are shouting!" Nayeon updated them. "They are shouting at each other! Something fell down! A body!? There are loud noises Jisoo!"

The raven didn't wait any longer, she took the bat from Lisa and stormed out. "Let's go guys! If you help me this time, I will forever be in your debts!"

Everyone was already on their way out when Dahyun made them stop.

"We can't leave without the boombox!" She claimed.

"Drop it Dahyun." Sana warned. "We are not here to play around. Get a knife instead."

"A knife? Did you lose it? We will use capoeira, not weapons. I already have the perfect song." Dahyun grinned and gave Lisa a knowing look.

"Oh that song? Let's do it!" Lisa smiled and punched the air.

"...." Joohyun turned her face to Jisoo. "Why did you even call those two?"

"The more the merrier?" Jisoo shrugged. "Where are Jeongyeon and Eunwoo when you need them anyways?"

"Working in the office." Nayeon answered. "We know police officers but are stuck with Dahyun and Lisa... Horrible." She sighed.

"Don't underestimate our dance fight...!" Lisa said confidently.

"Gays," Jisoo raised her arm suddenly with a smirk. "I think I have a plan."

"We are all ears." Seulgi muttered. "If we are up against nine guys we could need a good one."

...

"He fucking did what!?" Jennie growled. "I love that song!"

"Really...?" Chaeyoung asked sheepishly.

"Yes! It's the best he ever sang! No wonder, it's not even his. God I hate that shit. Don't worry, I will not let that toad looking fat thing get away with this." She promised them.

"Thank you so much." Junmyeon smiled. "We could really need your help in this."

"And you will get it." Jennie chuckled menacingly. "Yang Hyun Suck it's time for your funeral."

"Yeah let's kill him! He stole Chaeyoung's child!" Minseok yelled.

"Calm down," Luhan grabbed his shoulders. "We are here because we don't want to kill him, remember?"

"Right--" The buzzing of a fly cut him off. "Man, that's annoying."

"Truly," It flew close to Jennie's nose. "Ahhh!" She screamed and hid behind Chaeyoung. Did that really scare her that much?

"Yah fly! Stop scaring our lawyer!" Baekhyun ran after it, followed by Sehun. They battled with it until Sehun stumbled and plumped loud to the ground.

...

Dahyun ran nextdoor and knocked.

"Why are you knocking idiot!?" Sana hit her shoulder with the baseball bat. "It was supposed to be a surprise attack! Now they know we are here!"

"Quick hide!" Seulgi ran to the stairs.

"Too late!" Lisa stated. "If we escape now, they might realise someone's onto them and run away."

Dahyun placed the boombox down and played the song. "It's showtime girls. The moment they come out we ought to jump them."

"Get ready Lisa! Everyone move according to the plan! Get in position!" Jisoo said, going to the stairs out of sight of the door.

...

"Someone knocked." Chanyeol said. No sound escapes his big ears. "Jongdae go check."

"Why me?" The other asked displeased but still went to the door like Chanyeol commanded him.

"There is no one here, only a boombox--"

"Ohohoho~"

The loud music coming from the boombox interrupted him.

"Everybody was Kung Fu fighting~"

"Is that a prank? Just ignore it." Jongin voiced out.

"HEH!"

Lisa hid behind the door and once she heard the cue, kicked it into Jongdae's face. He fell down immediately. Her legs were no joke. As a dancer it's her biggest strength.

"Those kicks were fast as lightning~"

"Jongdae!?" The boys called, seeing his body fall down.

"HAH!"

Jongin went to check on him but suddenly Sana ran out of an elevator and targetted him with the baseball bat.

"In fact it was a little bit frightning~ HEH!"

Jongin could barely dodge by dropping down. He quickly crawled away.

"Nayeon!" She called. The bunny turned the fog machine on its highest mode before she tossed it inside the apartment.

"But they fought with expert timing! HAH!"

Since Sana is a pilot she has glasses that allow her to see through fog. She ran inside and knocked the boys down with the bat one by one.

"They were chopping them up, they were chopping them down~"

"From a faint into a slip, and kicking from the hip~"

"Psychos!" Kyungsoo yelled as his head was hit roughly. "Run guys!"

"Everybody was Kung Fu fighting~ HEH!"

Lisa and Dahyun ran inside and crawled along the ground. That way they could find the beaten up bodies and tie them with ropes like Jisoo instructed them to do.

Meanwhile Joohyun and Seulgi went after the two. Their role was putting a small amount of chloroform on a cloth as they held it over the victim's mouths to make sure they really are uncoscious and stay that way.

Nayeon and Jisoo had knives in their pockets. In case everything was going wrong, then it was their turn to fight but as long as it went according to plan they wouldn't move.

"Those kicks were fast as lightning~HAH!"

"In fact it was a little bit frightning~ HEH!"

"But they fought with expert timing! HAH!"

"What's going on!" Jennie shrieked, grabbing Chaeyoung's arm tightly.

"I have no idea!" She responded. "I think you are getting robbed!"

"What!?" She groaned. "Whoever you are, I will sue you!!"

"Kyaah!" Baekhyun down.

"Baek--" Chanyeol mumbled before he was hit too.

"Chanyeol!?" Chaeyoung called. "Are you okay!? Chanyeol!"

All boys were unconscious and tied up. That's when the song was finished as well.

"That's it!" Chaeyoung screamed and ran randomly around, accidentally crushing the fog machine with her feet as her sight slowly became clear.

"What the hell..." Jennie mumbled.

"Nadong." Jisoo whispered. "They can see us. It's time for the distraction."

"Roger that." She said and rolled the cake she hid behind her back on a plate, landing in front Chaeyoung. A nice clean throw.

"A cake? What flavour is it?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Burnt." Seulgi responded. "Super crunchy."

"Now that's just cruel!" Chaeyoung balled her fists. "How dare you!"

"Jisoo...?" Jennie squinted her eyes.

The raven looked at the brunette who was searching cover behind the couch.

"Jennie!" She ran to the younger and embraced her. "You are okay!"

"....What's going on?" She managed to choke out. Somehow it was hard to speak when Jisoo's warmth was lingering on her body.

"Honey," Joohyun nudged Seulgi's shoulder. "Isn't that Junmyeon?"

The bear looked to the unconscious man. "I think it is..."

Jisoo didn't recognise him before because he was hidden behind the giant Chanyeol. She wasn't familiar with the others.

"YOU!" Chaeyoung pointed an accusing finger to Lisa. "You are that person who turned me into a cherry blossom!"

"Oh!" Lisa smiled. "You are that girl--" Her smile fell as the gears in her head finally started to turn. "Y-You... You are the leader of a mafia gang!? I cut the hair of a mafia boss! Oh shit, I didn't mean to mess your hair up, please don't kill me!" She crawled down in surrender.

"Shouldn't I be the one to say that!?" Chaeyoung huffed. "I mean I'm not the one who broke into an apartment and attacked innocent people!"

"Innocent people?" Dahyun mimicked mockingly. "Innocent people don't murder children!"

Chaeyoung was rendered speechless. These people are crazy. "Are you all high?"

"We are not." Sana responded, looking to the girls on her left. "Right?"

"Of course not!" Joohyun snorted. "Right honey?" She looked at Seulgi who was caught off guard by the question.

"U-Um... No!" She spit out. "I mean we are not! We don't do drugs. What are drugs?"

"Kim Jisoo." Jennie said, making her pull back from the hug. "From the looks of it, those weirdos, are your weirdos, therefore I give you ten seconds to explain me why you played black op in my home. Your video games are not supposed to leave your screen."

"I wanted to protect you!" She responded as quickly as she could. "We-- Nadong eavesdropped you and found out those people are child killers and you are a child so--"

"That's enough... I think I get it..." Jennie pinched the bridge of her nose with a sigh before she turned to Chaeyoung. "I am so sorry about this... You know what, how about I will work for you for free in exchange of you forgetting this ever happened?"

"Deal!" Chaeyoung said before she walked over to the guys. "Wake up!" She kicked their faces roughly until their eyes fluttered open. "We are leaving!"

"But Jen--"

"Listen, those people are clients like I told you. No killers or whatever. Simple people who were robbed by a sorry excuse of a human." The younger glared at her. "I told you I am fine on my own. Are you not listening to me?"

"I did but--"

"I don't want to hear it! I want you to respect my decisions." She crossed her arms. "Otherwise I'm not sure if it's a good idea for us to even be friends."

Jisoo's face immediately grew pale. "I'm sorry! From now on I will not exude stupid behaviour anymore!" She pleaded with the other. "So stay my friend!"

"Um..." Nayeon butted in. "I think I will leave too." She said, trying to escape the crossfire of the two.

Seems like the others had the same idea since only Jennie and Jisoo were left in the room. The apartment was a mess. Vases broken, furniture turned around and ropes everywhere.

"I will clean up." Jisoo offered. "Do you have a broom and mop?"

Jennie nodded, pointing to the big walk in closet on the hallway.

And so the two ended up cleaning the whole afternoon instead of going out like they planned. By the time they were done Jisu was already home and Jennie was busy making phone calls. Eventually she moved to her working room.

She turned a guest room into her second office. The first is in Kim Print.

Later she went to the kitchen to drink water and saw Jisu playing cards with Jisoo in the living room. They even used fake banknotes for that game.

She leaned on the door frame to watch them. She was surprised that Jisoo was still there but she was even more surprised how happy Jisu seemed.

"What are you playing?" She plumped on the couch beside them.

"Poker!"

"Shhh!" Jisoo shushed her.

"You are teaching my five year old daughter how to play poker?" Jennie frowned.

"Um..."

"She is!" Jisu grinned. "Cool right?"

"Can you go to your room sweetie? Time to sleep." Jennie asked softly, earning an obedient nod as she walked away, not forgetting to wave Jisoo goodbye.

"Jisoo--"

"I'm sorry!" Jisoo blurted out. "I know I made some bad decisions today, and I'm sorry for that. You are right, I'm stupid. I should have listened to you. I also shouldn't have taught her that game without asking you but you seemed busy which is no excuse of course... I won't do it again."

"You really shouldn't have." Jennie furrowed her eyebrows, making the other look deflated. "But I forgive you. If you teach me too, that is."

Jisoo's lips grew into a heart shaped smile.

That was all it took for Jennie to reflect the same smile.

"We still need to hug the trees, you know." Jisoo handed her some cards.

"Right..." Jennie looked at her cards, not having a clue what she was supposed to do with them.

"Tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow."

"Really?" Jisoo tilted her face with big doe eyes. "You still want to go after that little stunt?"

"Julia will cause a ruckus if she finds out I denied your invitation, so yes."

"I see... I guess I take that." Jisoo responsed, no disappointment visible on her face or maybe she is just very good at hiding it.
