----READER----
It's been only a day since Kai's and I bonding moment, I thought something would happen between him and Jay. But in actuality nothing really did. Sure they seem to glare at each other and grumble about being too close to each other. However now it's calmed down, maybe now they've decided to grow up since our chat. It looks like leaving them alone was actually a good thing in the end.
"H-Hey watch it," a voice said suddenly as a hand wrap around my waist pulling me closer to them. Pulling myself out of my thoughts I notice I was going to fall into a ravine. Oops... "Can you watch where you're going..."
"Oh, thanks for sa-" I suddenly stop to look at my rescuer. Only to be a face inches away from Jay's face, well shit. Time stops between us as we both stare at each other. At a closer look I could see into Jay's beautiful ocean blue eyes, they are amazing more close up. OKAY, NO MORE (n/n)!! Pulling away immediately I felt the sudden loss of touch between us.
It was now quiet, but it wasn't long before the sound of a shutter from a camera appears. Knowing who exactly did that I glare over at my lovely junior who was going to get a beating from me. Lloyd immediately starts running toward the deep forest with me behind us. Without anyone looking I could feel my face heat up from embarrassment.
Coming to a clearing I could see Lloyd glancing over his shoulder just as I appear from the bushes. His expression was a classic as if I was planning to take his secret stash of candy. However even before I could lay a hand on him I notice something behind me. Taking my focus on the thing behind him, my body froze.
He probably notices too, since I didn't kill him yet and so he probably turns around too. I just kept walking until I was over the cliff looking into the valley. What happens here...this isn't anywhere close to what home looked like before. Something wasn't right about this place and I couldn't let the others go if I don't first.
"Lloyd...go get the others. Now" I order not sparing him a glance. Before he could even protest, I turn to him my eye changing to snake-like slits. "That wasn't a suggest Lloyd. Go. Get. Them. Now."
Without another word, he nods before running back to the others. At least he still listens, but that's not the point. Slowly I make my way down the ridge without falling and even making a smooth landing.
Once completely down I could see everything was even bigger than me. Great. Exploring the place around me, everything was a much darker color of green and even had an eerie feeling in it all. The sound of my steps echoes through the tunnel pathway as if any sound could trigger the echo. I kept my guard up making my way deeper into the mysterious place. Why haven't I seen this place before?
Why is this suddenly appearing? Could this be where Desdemona would be? I mean it's pretty creepy, even an easily scary cat would be scared by this shit. Just the thought of it brings me back to the time I brought Jay to a haunted house. Yeah, bad time to think of a good memory by I can't help it, he actually wet his pants in front of the gang.
My memory lane came to an end, literally. I was now standing in front of a throne type structure that was glowing the brightest color green and it only made things worse was the fact..it was quiet. Just TOO quiet for in my opinion.
---3RD POV---
What the hell is going on? First, this place isn't on the map and it's just too quiet for it to be abandoned. Like seriously why is even here, I've never seen this place before, (y/n) though as she stands in front of the throne-like structure. As she turns away from it, (Y/n) could be heard as only a whisper.
"Who's there" she immediately answers back. Somehow her blood ran cold once that whisper appear. Her instincts were telling her to run but at the same time she couldn't move. "what the hell is going on..."
"(Y/n)" was called and could even be heard throughout the empty gorge. The (F/c) ninja turns around to see a familiar little group running toward her, which a certain 'scaredy-cat' running much faster to her, compared to the others at least. It was as if they were able to illuminate a bright aura around themselves in just an eerie place. "(Y/N)-CHAN!! YOU'RE ALIVE, I'M SO HAPPY!!!"
"Wait, Lloyd did you tell them that I-" (y/n) couldn't even finish her sentence as the Neko decides to throw herself onto the protagonist. The sound of purring could be heard which made the brothers holding back the urge to laugh and only smile. "Lloyd...if I get out of this, you're dead. Literally."
"You'll FIRST have to get out for your own predicament and TWO you'll have to catch me if I have a head start."
Everyone laughs at that as they help the two back onto their feet and go around to investigate the throne area. It's basically a whole dead ridge that will drop again into a green substance. Zane walks over to the edge to try and retrieve a sample. As his metal hand was about to touch it a loud thump stop him.
Now alert they all clump into a circle in the center of the whole area. They didn't know what to expect at this point since they're in uncharted territory and it only brought them to be more paranoid more than anything. It was too quiet before they let their guard down after.
"M-Maybe that was just the broken cliff just up there...I've noticed how some of them are actually breaking away from the cliff. So yeah, we're being too paranoid" Jay said as he turns his back to any danger to face his team. The others stand there for a moment thinking the same thing as they lower their weapons. "So now what great leader of ours?"
Opening her mouth to give a snappy remark, something catches her attention which only makes her heart drop. It was something or a creature moving too quickly for the HUMAN eye, and it was getting closer. In a matter of seconds, it was behind Jay, now ready to strike. She wasn't going to let that happen.
As if in the matrix (or just slow-motion) she moves quickly to grab a piece of his clothing and fling him to the other side. Before she could take another step away it was already too late for (Y/n). Whatever the creature had as a claw, she was able to get a scratch (or more like a huge gash) onto her back. Her whole body was filling up to the brim with the main and did the only thing she knew how to do. Scream in pure pain.
Even the sound her scream was able to make sure a strong echo but not only that but the very face of her piece. As a descendant of a dragon blood reptile, it holds a strong connection of the Earth which made the whole place feel like there was an earthquake. The team turns to see their leader on the group, bleeding out from an acidic type of thing that was able to bring actual tears to her eyes.
"I see so even a pesky dragon can actually cry...How interesting" a voice said through the shadow. With a weaker teammate, they drag (Y/n)'s half-conscious body to the center as they surround her. They didn't know what to do at this point and yet all they did (of course they aren't that dumb) was to protect their teammate from being too damaged/hurt. "Awe she even has her own little mice doing her bidding as she is out."
"I suggest you finally come out, you've pretty much made your presence known to us already. Might as well make it an even playing ground then" Zane replies, trying to locate the voice's location with the help of his robotic girlfriend. Once locating, where it is he, points a shuriken at her exact place, the rest of them turn to that spot. "You've been found out and I suggest to my teammates that we keep out guard up because she isn't alone, to say the very least."
A sinister sound of laughter fills the echoing cavern and it only made the blood run cold inside each of the brothers. Jay couldn't help but sneeze by the sudden temperature drop and honestly made him worry about (Y/n) who was still sitting in the middle as if in a daze. Her once beautiful eyes were glazed over, she was fighting her own battles inside of herself. Removing his jacket he's alone on his long sleeve clothing, then draping over the girl his jacket.
By then (Y/n) subconsciously could hold onto the jacket tighter around her and look up at whatever direction she could sense the warmth. It was then that she looks straight up at Jay who had a small smile on his face as he could see (Y/n) was trying to fight on her own. Patting her head he could leave the only warmth he could before focusing back on the Spider finally relieving herself to the group.
The sight of a woman's face was an okay thing, but when she suddenly grows taller and even her body is much bigger (not in a rude way XD). Let's just say, those with arachnophobia were now shaking, as their biggest fear is more human, more than ever.
"I never knew mice called humans can even come into this realm. But I guess since we can enter their's, it's vice versa. Hm, how peculiar" she speaks as she looks down on the group. The ninja's gazes harden, watching her every move. (J/g/n) moves to bring herself to (Y/n)'s side and holding her close. "To be fair I must introduce myself, don't I? It's a pleasure to meet you all humans, I am Desdemona...the future queen~"
"Oh no you're not, (Y/n) is...once she wakes up from her stupid trace, she'll be so ready to beat your eight-legged ass" Kai yells, glaring at the woman. She seems surprised for a moment before she begins to laugh, then into a hysterical one.
"How cute, you all really believe your princess it that strong that she fights my venom. I'll tell you though...she won't be able to wake up from that. That venom has been perfected for those with dragon blood so it will take a lot of mental strength to get out" Desdemona explains before extending her gloved arm toward them. "Also the very fact you won't have her anymore."
In seconds (y/n)'s half-conscious body was in their protective circle and then into the arms of their enemy, but she wasn't alone. Jay and Kai were in horror and half expectancy of who would do that. Their eyes were glazed over, a blank expression is written on their face. Jay was holding back the urge to lunge forward as she turns her back to the.
"I should have known you're the traitor...(j/g/n)" Kai growls as his fiery eyes glaze at the eko. Her back was turned but they knew she didn't give two shits about that. Desdemona could only smile her sinister smile as she opens her arms to the younger girl and even had the audacity to drop (y/n) to the ground.
---KAI POV---
Now I've learned how to control my anger but as soon as (n/n)'s body hit the ground, I was ready to jump a bitch. But Cole was holding onto my forearm as a warning to not even move. Damn it, I want to help her! Desdemona held onto (j/g/n) before she turns her to face us.
"Well humans, you must meet the newest princess of the kingdom~ She will do a much better job than this reptile" Desdemona exclaims as she glare at (y/n) who is still on the ground. I look over at Jay and I could see his fear as he only stares at the girl on the ground. (y/n) hasn't moved this whole time and even looking at her, she doesn't even look like she is in breathing.
"As if once (y/n) wakes up and sees your ugly faces, she'll rip you to shreds...both of you " I reply glaring at the insect women and the damn feline. They weren't phased at all by my threat and it only made me angrier.
Desdemona looks at (y/n)'s body before grabbing her arm and lifting her onto her back. The glimpse of her pale face ran shivers down my spine, (y/n) looked completely dead. (j/g/n) looks at her and for once in my life, I could see the disgust she had on her face looking at (y/n). Turning to us, the damn spider on smiles.
"Well it was horrible to meet you all so we'll be leaving, I hope to not see your humans again and honestly you leave this world before the consequences come and get you. After all, you'll be by yourselves" Desdemona said ignoring my threat and with a blink of my eye the three of them were gone.

Hello people, I'm alive sadly and taking much longer because I'm now on a timer. By timer I mean, I want to finish one of these books before the new decade. So yeah the chapters will be at least a little bit longer and just jam-packed with my information for longer reading. Now I bet my damn English teacher will be proud of me, ha jokes on her... Please ignore anything I was saying just now, I'm trying to work on autopilot.
Anyways I hope you enjoy this late update and the next victim will have to be the Kai book, I haven't even touched that one in months. Well shit. Comment down below your thoughts and anything you want, I enjoy looking at them just for the heck of it.
