The room looked empty from the outside. They couldn't see him. But he was there. He was as trapped as the others. And they knew this.
The difference was that he wasn't just trapped in this room. He was trapped in himself. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't get out. He just couldn't.
It was as if he'd locked himself up and then thrown away the key. So, that was all he had to do - find the key.
He had to find the one object that didn't exist. It had never existed.
Maybe this was what made him the monster they claimed he was.
