The words lay on my tongue
The ghosts of a memory
That doesn't belong to me.
Like a rainbow
You can see
But not comprehend
How it come so soon after rain.
Forgive for your own sake
They say, but
That's not the real case.
It's like when different colours
Are mixed
To create a unique shade
You must try to forgive
As there's no other way
To go about facing the pain.
