"Tara na" I offer my hand to Ysabella.
Balak ko sana siyang dalhin sa bake shop namin. So we can have privacy.
"Tsss late ka ng thirty two minutes and fifty seven seconds" she said without looking at me instead she looked at her watch. Nabilang pa talaga niya. I smiled.
Naupo ako sa upuan malapit sakanya
I sigh
"traffic kasi"
Without any hesitation I drink her coffee
Without any permission from her.
"We need to talk.."
I said as I put my arms on the table.
I look at the glass window mainit talaga ang sikat ng araw sa labas.
I was about to say something when someone arrived.
I feel tense. I keep on tapping my fingers sa table.
I feel distracted whenever she's around me.
"Hi, you must be Ysabella.."
Ngumiti naman ng pagkatamis tamis si Catherine
What is she doing here?
I stand and gave signals to Ysabella na tumayo din
Nakita kong ngumiti din siya pero.. Nag fade away din yun kaagad dahil sa sinabi nito.
"I'm Catherine. Girlfriend ni kaiden"
Tumalikod si Ysabella. .
Shit
"What are you trying to do?" I hissed pagkatapos bumulong ko sa kapatid ko.
Oo ate ko si Catherine. She's always pretending that she's my girlfriend whenever she saw me on a date. Pero not this time. I'm serious about Ysabella.
"Ysabella"
I try to call her but she didn't respond I tapped her back pero wala pa rin
"look Kaiden she's affected"
Then Catherine smiles.
"You should make her jealous para umamin na siya sayo" she whispers na kaming dalawa lang ang makakarinig
Catherine’s idea was so brilliant.
Minutes later..
May tumawag kay Ysabella sa phone.
"Uuwi muna ako may biglaang meeting sa firm. Mauna na ako Kaiden" she said after ibaba ang phone
I don't know how to react so I ended up just letting her go. Disappointed lang siguro ako.
"She likes you" sabi ni catherine habang hawak ang wallet. That looks familiar.
I gave signals to Catherine na tumahimik muna because Tito Francisco was calling
I grab my phone
The answered it.
[ How's the progress of the plan..? ] He asked
"Thirty percent palang ang nakukuha ko sa shares ng mga Cruz .. But its a big privilege for me. For us "
Then I laughed
biglaang ang pagbuhos ng ulan. Napatigin ako sa bintana
[ Very good. Just keep me updated. Meet me later sa office ]
"Sige po"
Then I ended the call.
Konting konti nalang malapit na..
Then may iniabot saakin si Catherine.
Wallet? binuksan niya yon
"Look" pinakita niya saakin yung picture. I saw Ysabella smiling. She's very beautiful .
"Mabuti nalang at sinundan kita" dagdag pa niya
"Bakit na'sayo ito?" I ask
"Naiwan yata niya"
"Akin na nga 'yan" then kinuha ko 'yon mula sakanya.
"Hindi naman obvious that you liked her too"
I just smirked and leave the restaurant immediately

"So para sa formulation ng ating perfume we all agreed upon na ang kuhanin ay ang Japanese investors"
She inhales deeply.
Kanina ko pa siya tinitignan. Hindi rin naman ako makapagfocus sa mga sinasabi niya.
"Any questions?". She said as she ended the presentation.
"she's very beautiful. I've done a good choice by investing in this firm"
Narinig kong sabi ng katabi ko.
Napakunot yung noo ko sa sinabi nito
"yeah me too. I never doubt.. We're very lucky"
"We should make a move bago pa tayo maunahan ng iba"
Bigla akong nainis. Hindi na ako nakatiis kaya nagsalita ako.
"She's very beautiful,no beyond beautiful and yet she's mine that's why I'm the luckiest. " sabi ko. Nagulat naman yung dalawang katabi ko kaya tumahimik sila
Isa isang lumapit saamin si Ysabella at nakipag shake hands.
Pero nung time na ako na yung ka-shake hands niya nilagpasan lang niya ako
napahinto ako. She didn't look at me.
I decided na magpaiwan sa board room.
Saktong aalis na siya ng humarang ako sa dinadaanan niya.
"Pwede bang magpadaan ka?"
halatang bored na siya
Hindi ko siya pinansin at muling humarang sa dinadaanan niya.
"Can you just let me go?" She's irritated
"No "
"Not now Kaiden please. I'm not in the mood to play your stupid games"
"I won't let you go Ysabella.. Not unless you fall for me" I'm serious nung sinabi ko yun. I want her to fall for me the way that I ..
It takes seconds before she give her response. I'm just looking at her face as if I'm memorizing every part of it

"Sinabi ko na kanina diba? I'm not in the mood to play your stupid game Kaiden. Alin ba sa part na 'yun ang 'di mo maintindihan."
I'm not playing with you. Never in my mind na pumasok sa isip ko na paglaruan ka.
Gusto ko sanang sabihin pero alam kong kokontrahin niya ako.
"Pwede bang 'wag ka nang lumapit saakin? Baka magalit yung bwiset mong girlfriend"
I smiled. Mamaya I will thank Catherine for this.
Mas humigpit pa yung pagkakahawak ko sa kamay niya.
Shit. I want to explain.
"So you're jealous kaya ka lumalayo saakin tama ba?"
Natatawa sabi ko
"Hindi ako nagseselos. Never akong nakaramdam ng selos alam mo ba yun?"
"Pero sayo lang.. Sayo lang ako nagkakaganito.. Nakakainis ka". Nabitawan ko yung kamay niya
So she has the capability to feel jealousy huh?
Hindi ko namalayan na nakalabas na pala siya
Next thing I knew is sinusundan ko na siya
"You're funny" Sabi ko nang maabutan ko siya.
Masama yung tingin niya saakin
No need to escape from me.
I cupped her face and caressed it.
I kissed her forehead kanina pa ako natutukso na gawin 'to
"We need to talk now" I whisper to her.
Then I heard people around us gasped
But I don't care.
I badly need to talk to her..
