Sahil.

The day began with me getting up quite early. I am wondering how??

A sickening feeling filled my stomach as I looked at my photo beside me: A younger me was smiling and waving at the camera as my parents stood behind laughing.

I felt like crying but then composed myself and smiled.

I went to the kitchen and prepared a cup of coffee and went to my balcony. I am sipping it and enjoying the view.

The sun is the first thing I see. It is bright and, the morning rays are falling on me. I smile as I take a sip of coffee.

Today is going to be so much fun. My last day with Ayesha in Mumbai and probably I will make it the best.

I take a quick shower and dress in a comfortable sweatshirt with jeans.
I combed my hair and put my sunglasses.

I step out in my Mercedes today at 6 am ( as I feel like I should drive a Mercedes today) and pick Ayesha at the bus stop.

I had convinced the director to excuse me today. Ayesha arrived smiling at me.

She wore a light kurta paired with a dark coloured skirt. She had pulled back her hairs to a ponytail and wore small pearl earrings.

In short, she looked great.

"So, what is the plan??"

"Relax, Ayesha. It is a surprise. It's your last day in Mumbai, and I have to make it the best."

She smiled.

I just love that smile.

"Thank you, Sahil.".

We reached the Marine Drive in two hours or so around 830.

It is curved beachfront promenade and a curved road that runs for kilometres, giving a great view of the beach and the shore.

Marine Drive was later constructed to be the Miami of India. Similar to Miami, the place is covered with offices, apartment blocks, cinemas and others built in Art Deco style. The site was designed to represent the architectural beauty of the land, and many travellers have compared it with Miami's architecture.

Though Ayesha was a Mumbai person, she had been to the Marine Drive only a couple of times. As for me, Marine drive gives you a view of the water, and that's all that matters to me.

Though I thought to bring Ayesha in the evening to the Marine Drive I knew it would not work out. It's Ayesha's last day in Mumbai, and I didn't want her to get scolded up by her parents.

Ayesha loved the view and thanked me for bringing her here.

( Any Mountain person will fall in love with the sea after visiting the Marine Drive. Though Ayesha refused to accept that.)

We then went to a painting gallery. Ayesha loved paintings. I thought that bringing her to an art gallery will definitely make her day and it did.

Ayesha took great interest in looking at each detail and occasionally told me the correction she thought the painting needed.

I had to drag her out, reminding her the rest of our plan.

" Hurry up, Ayesha. It's 12 now. Quickly "

"Sahil, just one painting. This is the last" she promised, smiling.

"Fine. But I will give you only 5 minutes."

But we left after 45 minutes, Ayesha still suggesting that golden brown would have been much better. ( to the painting).

We then had an excellent brunch in a nearby restaurant. (Me still wearing the sunglasses ( it's not FUNNY))

We then left back to Andheri.

"Why do you like paintings, Ayesha?"

"Painting helps me express emotions Sahil. I can express myself with colours rather words. Painting makes me feel happy."

I nodded.

We reached Andheri in 2 and a half hours, because of the hectic traffic.

"Where are we going?" Ayesha asked
"Juhu?"

"No," I replied. " My house."

She looked confused but decided not to ask.

We reached my apartment shortly, and I took her to the 11th floor ( that's where my house is ) and led the way to my house. I opened the lock and

"Welcome, Ayesha. Welcome to my lovely house. Make yourself comfortable. " I said.

"Wow, you have got a beautiful house, Sahil." She said as she entered my house, her mouth open.

"I know."

I gave her a short tour of my house, showing her my photographs and books and other articles. I also showed her my secret stamp collection.

"Wow, Sahil, just wow. You've got a gorgeous house." Ayesha replied awestruck.

After a few minutes, I suggested Ayesha that we will watch a movie and showed her the CDs I had.

She recommended Notebook (English version), and we sat in my vast hall on a sofa facing the large TV each holding a bucket of popcorn.

We watched until the end; it was half-past six.

I had a glimpse of the photo again. I don't know what it was doing here. It was in my bedroom where it was kept. But probably, Ayesha kept it there. Anyways it doesn't matter, and I don't care.

I felt I couldn't hold my thoughts. Minutes later, I turned to her and said:

"Ayesha, I want to tell you something."

Sorry for the short chapter guys. The next will be extended.

Anyway, what do you think Sahil wants to tell Ayesha??

Thank you.
