Chapter seventeen:
"Oof!" This time I fell flat on my but because Alex's hands were full of numerous books and and was startled by my speed.
"I'm so sorry once again, I fear that we shall collide together more often as you sneak about all the time." Alex chuckled as he picked up his books off the floor.
"Uh, yeah, sorry um.... I gotta go so bye!" I started off again before I felt a firm grasp on my wrist restraining me to go any further.
"Where might you be going may I ask?"
"Some private matters of my doing which I am late to be attending to." I really needed to go and he was stalling me!
"How about I guide you there, Lady Katelynn?" He released his grasp on my arm and turned forward to see me better.
"Oh no but thank you, Alex. I should do this alone."
"Okay, good luck and farewell." he seemed disappointed but I can't have the Queen question me about him it would just be awkward.
